Correlation between sperm count and frequency of wet dreams
I haven’t found any studies relating to the number of sperm in semen to frequency of wet dreams. Is there any correlation?

Re: Correlation between sperm count and frequency of wet dreams
I’ve read through a lot of research articles on the topic, and from what I remember, either there was not a study done on that correlation, or there was no correlation. However, I do recall seeing several studies showing a correlation between testosterone levels and WD frequency.

Re: Correlation between sperm count and frequency of wet dreams
I haven't read or looked into it, but I would doubt that actual sperm count would have any correlation to wet dreams. Sperm accounts for a very small percentage of the final volume of semen. As focus said, maybe testosterone. Anything that would contribute to the glands like the prostate and seminal vesicles filling with fluid. I'd be willing to bet that added pressure also contributes to the body signaling it needs to release, leading to a higher chance it happens in your sleep.
