Increase Chance of WD?
Are there any methods to potentially increase your chances of WDs? Abstaining is probably the most obvious, I would imagine. Has anybody tried or done something that has triggered or come close to triggering one?

Dpike3 posted a method on the old forum.
No masturbation or porn for 7 days then from day 8 onwards constantly keep yourself aroused but never touching your penis. Most guys claimed they got a wet dream on day 10. It was something to do with keeping your sperm production higher than your body could keep up with.

I've tried that a few times and have not been successful yet, will keep trying when I have a couple weeks I can go without sex.

Most of what I've seen aside from dipke3's technique seem like old wives tales. If you look at what advice is given to avoid wet dreams (and I think more of that kind of advice exists), it includes things like avoiding spicy foods, sleeping on your back, don't sleep naked, etc. I sleep naked every night (because I find it more comfortable) and eat very spicy food all the time... never had a WD, in spite of abstaining.
Some people have things that seem to work for them, and maybe in a 50:50 situation something like that might tip the scales to 51... but maybe most of us are nowhere near that 50:50 in the first place.
dipke3's technique is the closest I've seen to something that looks promising as an active plan. But it requires so much sustained arousal, I don't think I can even try it properly. I get bored of porn quickly, so I can't auto-pilot like that for 4 days.

You can touch it, you just can't masturbate or edge. Very good summary. I would add one thing: Dipke3 introduced this technique as means for developing of "peeing sperm while ejaculating" ability which can be useful for porn actors. Great, I couldn't find it on archive.org for a while there, they were saying it wasn't indexed. I was worried that we may have had to piece dipke3's writings together from second-hand memory, like some kind of legend, passed down by word-of-mouth through generations. Eventually dipke3 would be 10 feet tall, cumming buckets on command, wiping out entire villages.
More on topic... the only other thing I've heard to try is from someone I know in person. He told me when he wants a wet dream, he "half masturbates" to some porn every day for 7 days, and on the 7th night he gets a WD, and this works reliably for him. I didn't get a chance to follow up on what he meant exactly by half masturbation, because I think we were drunk or something, otherwise conversations like that don't come up.
If it aligns with dipke3's findings, then I'm assuming he didn't mean edging. I also don't know if this is part of a longer habit of abstinence. Like if this is all you ever did for a year, maybe it would work?

Yeah, there has got to be a lot of individual variables here. In the old avoidance advice lists.. the "don't sleep on your stomach" one makes me laugh. I can see the logic of assuming that the pressure on your bits from sleeping on your stomach could increase stimulation, etc. And yet, I think a WD is more internally triggered than externally. For me, every WD I can remember except for one (I woke up with a friend spooning me while camping lol -- ok, so that seemed to have an external trigger) has been when I'm sleeping on my back. And as far as sustaining some type of mental and even physical stimulation, I know that does work for a lot of guys. Maybe I'm an oddball, but again for me, I almost only ever got one after a while of barely thinking about sex or touching myself at all. Maybe if it went on for a REALLY long time, that might work for me. My theory is that if I am edging and all, my body is expecting that I will JO soon, and I'll get my release that way. If I am basically ignoring my penis, it then has to get creative and come up with another avenue for release. But that's just me
