Hello, I am FivePebbles (expect this little About Me section to be updated frequently as I think of more things you guys should know about me). We shall see whether this journal is updated sporadically or at all. I have autism and ADHD, and I like stories, whether books or movies or video games. I also have an underwear fetish. But some people started talking to me, and I guess that made me interested in the rest of the site. So here I am, making a journal. I currently live with my grandparents, and they had some guests over, so I gave up the guest room and spent the week in the basement with my brother. I don't mind the basement, it's fine, but the loss of privacy and some quality of life things is a much bigger issue for me. In a room with my brother, it's much harder to masturbate. I've been advised to write about my underwear fetish, and I think that's a fine idea since I have a lot to say about it, though I may struggle to explain it correctly. I also wish to express that this is catered towards males but most of what I say I believe to be true of females too.
My fetish is one that has more to it than the fetish itself. It's also a non-sexual appreciation of wearing underwear and the idea that underwear is an expression of self.
We are surrounded by rules and restrictions placed on what we wear, how we look, how long our hair can be. Even the ties on suits and the kinds of socks we wear are frequently policed as part of a dress code. But it would be seen as invasive for a job or place to regulate what kind of underwear you need to wear. So it's just about the only part of clothing and appearance that can be freely chosen. And which kind of underwear is chosen says something about who that person is.
There are a lot of stereotypes. Nerds wear tighty-whities, jocks wear boxers. So on and so forth. Each generation has had different stereotypes, so that may have been true for some people. My view is torn between what the kind of underwear says about the person wearing it and what type of person wears what kind.
If you wear briefs, you might be someone who likes to be in control. Of your circumstances and body. Or you could be sexy, drawn to them because they're the most revealing type (at least among the three foremonst types). If you wear boxers, perhaps you enjoy the masculine feeling of your loose genitals. Or perhaps you're sensitive and you enjoy that boxers give you a lot of erections. Or maybe you think that anything more revealing is too embarrassing. If you wear boxer briefs, there's a high possibility that you don't give a lot of thought to what you wear, instead preferring to go with the flow, enjoy what's popular, and let other people's preferences become your opinions (nothing wrong with that, and this can be true of the other types but nowhere near as much as boxer briefs right now). There are also those who wear boxer briefs because they like that they're a good middle ground between concealing and revealing. Or perhaps you don't want uour underwear to be quite as tight and secure as briefs but still like stability. And less stereotypical underwear such as thongs, bikinis, jockstraps, and more fringe cases are often evocative of being very confident and wanting to show off your body. But these are all just examples. There are so many reasons to pick a favorite, and the reasoning is always interesting to me.
My favorite type is briefs, because I'm sensitive and prefer something tight and secure to prevent me from getting erections all the time. And they also look pretty good. But I absolutely love being able to put on a different type and feel whatever sensations I want at any time. I'm wearing boxer briefs right now, even though they're my least favorite.
If there's anything I want people to leave this post thinking about, it's that you might enjoy something different. There are more designs and types now than ever before. You can get leather boxer briefs, or silk boxers. There are kinds that hold the different parts of your genitals in different compartments so they don't get stuck together, both in styles that make the penis stick out and ones that don't. There are types with horizontal flies, button flies, no fly, or just a hole at the top for either an erection or urination. There are boxers that have seams on the sides rather than the back, so the seam doesn't get stuck in your rear when it rides up a little. Solid colors. Silly patterns. Plaids, stripes, and dots. Or ones where the seams are different colors than the rest of it, to add contrast.
I just want you to give some thought to your underwear. Either trying new ones, or thinking about why you chose them in the first place.

To add to what I said earlier, due to things like dress codes, the clothes we wear often define our function. We wear work clothes to work, we wear pajamas when we're going to bed or otherwise allowed to fall asleep (usually being sick). At the end of a workday, I enjoy going to my room, removing my work clothes, and sitting in my room in only my underwear. As discussed earlier, underwear does not participate in the nature of clothing as a purposeful entity. So it's nice to sit there, letting myself be a person with no strict purpose. Nothing to do, just existence and myself. A time to breathe from the exhausting life of adults.

Hard to say what might increase the likelihood of wet dreams for you, above and beyond the basic not masturbating.

I suppose what I've been posting hasn't really been related to wet dreams much, so I'll share the story of one of my teenage wet dreams.
When I was seventeen, we lived in the middle of a country, it took least fifteen minutes worth of driving to get to the nearest small town. I think it was more like twenty-five to thirty minutes. Anyway, our family had needed something we couldn't get in our town, so we drove a few hours to one of the closest cities. While we were in a shopping mall there, my parents asked if I was doing fine for clothes. I asked for more underwear. Since I am wearing my pretty blue Hawai thong, I remember a time when I was thankful I didn't have a wet dream. To some extent, anyway.
