Well, my one and only WD when I was 19, happened to be in tighty whities, but I think it is anecdotal as that was the only kind of underwear I wore back then. However, I have wore almost types of underwear over the years, currently like trunks the best, and I do think the snugger or tighter fitting underwear does cause more nighttime erections than looser fitting underwear. It makes sense as since we get erections anyway, the tighter underwear creates more friction on the penis as it’s getting erect, which makes it feel good, gets even harder, and in a loop like that.

wow u didn't know you previously wore tws, why don't you still only wear briefs? maybe you'd have a higher chance of getting a wet dream???!?!?!!!

Possible I suppose, but I really like trunks now. They’re almost as tight as briefs but give me a bit more room around the legs so the twins have room to be comfortable.
