Arousal appears to be so intimately connected to MB that you can't separate them. Things might change in the future, but for now you might as well just give up the suffering of AB. It's not worth it.
But don't quit WDF. Follow the journeys of others and get inspired, working your way towards the point where you embrace and enjoy the horniness of extended AB. The WDs will follow.

Yeah, I have been taking a long break from it. I don't have any serious streaks in the past year. I do need to bring a different mindset to the game before I try again. I wouldn't describe my AB streaks as "suffering" though (there's a lot about it that I really enjoy), but it's certainly a major distraction for me, and that's what I most want to put a time limit on. Usually I empty the tanks at least twice a week, and doing that, I don't feel horny at all during the day. So I'm not used to directing this energy. I've heard of other people being able to steer this energy towards goals or whatever, but it seems easier said than done. My energy seems to stir up body rushes and the like. Then again, these "transmutation" types also talk about how they've "cured" themselves of wet dreams entirely. So it's hard to know what's even going on there.
Maybe I'd have a better perspective on the separation if I'd experienced a WD first.

Heh, yeah no I haven't. I still check in every once in a while, to see if there's some new idea or way of looking at things that seems promising. Experiencing a WD is for some reason a curiosity I keep coming back to.

A few years ago I went through all logs on WDF and tried to create statistics.

Of 254 users who created a log 38% made it to a WD, after abstaining for 34 days in average. The number is lower for those below the age of 25 (28 days, but 48% made it) and higher for those above the age of 40 (56 days, only 28% made it)

For me it took a full 120 days to get a wet dream to happen.

Damn, 4 months. Did you notice anything different in the run-up to your WD? Did they become more frequent after that initial 4 month wait?

All I remember was my testes were very full and engorged and sensitive, when the wet dream happened when I was asleep in REM I felt my testes were like pushing out the sperm out from the muscles around there and I pre cummed alot out too during the wet dream and honestly could not remember what I dreamed about, and after that wet dream triggered something in my brain to have more I wont forget that experience.
