So here I am, trying to make some healthy changes in my life. One of which is to stop masturbating. But instead of a massive goal all the way in the future. I am going to say, my goal is 7 days, with option for extension. Ultimately I'd like to make it to Valentines day. Well let's see where it takes me...

Welcome back to the forum. I was gone for a long time myself and am back as well. I have to get my MB under control and make other healthy changes in my life, just as you are doing.

I like how you approach the issue by breaking down AB into small goals . I will copy your example, if I could.

Hi all,

Busy past couple of days. Which is good, keeps mind and hands off of things they should not be on

So as of 15:30 (-5:00 GMT) it will be 72 hours or three full days since I last MB.

Tuesday, hard as everything. I work from home so its easy to just take a restroom break and MB. I went for a run that day.
Yesterday, not as bad, meetings with clients and such. Kinda inappropriate to whip it out then, so not too much of a struggle.
Today, going well. Working hard on work and just taking a break to update everyone.

One of the reasons for stopping and wanted to take a minute to ask everyone about is the 'Hard Flaccid' condition. There is a lot of different definitions, symptoms, web forum posts etc on it. My experience is feeling like my flaccid penis is hard and draws up (shrinks). This is not due to coldness because I can take a hot shower, scrotum will relax but penis will not. Also, noticed my erections are not as strong and sometimes my penis looks constricted in the flaccid state. Thinking that this all may be caused by excessive MB which it had gotten to a point that I would MB nearly every morning before I got in the shower and every night before going to sleep, maybe twice each time.

Any thoughts guys?

6 Days have passed my friends and I am still on the wagon. We're traveling through some horny terrain right now. Guess its natural for day 6. Tomorrow at 15:30 (-5:00 GMT) I will be done with it a week.

So it has been 9 days. Current situation:

The best way to AB is to enjoy its effects, which you seem to be doing. After a while, MB can start to seem more like a boring end to good feelings rather than actually feeling good itself. It can be argued that sexuality is better embraced, expressed, and enjoyed by NOT MBing than by wasting it in MB.

Not MBing and waiting for marriage until having sex is a bit unusual in western countries, but in some other cultures it's the norm and expected. Besides, WDs are probably a better 'rehearsal' for sex than is MB.

Congrats on getting such positive results!

So, 10 days have passed, over half-way to completing the 11th full day.

Yesterday I had a ton of energy in the morning though the horniness has subsided, except for when I'm with my GF.

I slept nude last night for the first time since October/November. Little hard to do when its approaching 10 F outside, but once I got snuggled up under the covers it was plenty warm and I slept all night. I love sleeping nude. I think for some people, AB and sleeping nude go together. It's like AB allows you to feel free, natural, and comfortable in your body, whereas MB can make you feel embarrassed and want to cover up, even when alone. I think it all goes with the effects of AB on hormones, self confidence, and even controlled horniness.
