Hi all,

I'm very new to this site. I had been aware of it for some time but only just joined a couple of days ago. Unlike the vast majority of people in here who I presume have never experienced a WD, I get them regularly. My reasons for joining this site, are fringe - I just wanted to start a diary thread of mine. I've had fun reading through the ones you've all ventured to post so I figured what the hell.

My reasons for abstaining used to be religious, but now it's more a case of personal pride. I hate not having any control over my urges. I feel like if I take a 1-2 month break from the sauce, it will at least take the edge off of it. I don't know if this what will actually happen or not, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

& for those not in the know, the longest i've ever gone without masturbating / sex is around 21-30 days. This was about three years ago. I'm hoping to increase my record to twice that length.

Anyways looking forward to a great, MB free future.

So it turns out that I actually messed up, just about the time I made the opening post. I'm not planning on indulging in anything carnal today. I'm glad to say I didn't do nothing yesterday either. Nevertheless, I think I'm going to put my day one as today, just to make it easier for me.

So without further ado ....

Day ONE (08/07/2013)

Feeling pretty chill. Haven't really had any urges. Hopefully this persists for the next 60 days -> unlikely, but a man can dream.

I blew it guys ... multiple times. I'm so hooked to the sauce that just a day or two of abstaining causes me to hunger for it like a dope fiend. I either have to get my head into the game or do away with this challenge altogether.

I don't know.

I'll start a new day one tomorrow ... if I'm up for it that is ... LOL

DAY ONE

My new day one. I don't know how far I'm going to go this time around. I should be able to reach day 3 pretty easily though since I'm pretty much stuck at home for the next two days. I thought about it and it seems like the only times I ever bomb it, is when I spend a lot of time on campus. There's been a tremendous heat wave over here the past couple of weeks so pretty much all the pretty ladies there have been wearing nothing at all. It's not a particularly good environment to be in for an abstainer like myself.

So yea, new day, new challenge. Let's hope for the best!!

DAY TWO
08/10/2013

Today has been pretty uneventful. I slept in, went to the dentist, wasted time on the web, watched a movie and now ... it seems like I'm back to wasting time on the web again. As far as my urges are concerned, well they are basically non-existent. I haven't looked at any salacious imagery on the web, and I haven't been tempted by anything else since I haven't really gone outside much today.

So yea, it's looking good so far.
