Both of us messed up with our porn AB. But unlike Isabelle Valentine, the culprit in my case are the Japanese. I don't know why I liked Japanese so much, maybe part of the reason is because I am an Asian. Anyway, just like you I am still in the game of AB from MB. hahaha. We can do it!!! abstaining from masturbation is much more important for me than abstaining from porn. Since my last post, I've relapsed again. I watched some more porn and got to the stage of applying vaseline and taking it out (sorry if its too graphic) I was anxious all over. One part of me was thinking, "do it and enjoy the great orgasm that will follow" and the other part of me saying "I've been here before and it is not worth it." There was also a part of me thinking that all this effort will be undone and I won't be able to get the motivation to abstain again, and that painful the cycle of wanting to abstain and want wet dreams again will have to be repeated and will take even longer because I masturbated. I no longer have the house to myself so this should be easier. If I can just get through tonight and calm everything down tomorrow, then I hope I will end up being ok. I do want to get lucid dreams and lucid sex and wet dreams. I don't want to have that repetitive habit back in my life. It is strange how for almost ten days I had complete control, and now mainly because of boredom, not horniness, I am a complete nervous wreck about how I'm going to continue. I must believe that I can do it. Just need to get this day over and done with.

After a very hectic and uncomfortable day, I am just about to get to bed and feel fine now, so I've made it to the 30 day mark. phew.
The second moment where I sat watching porn and stroked myself twice was just too close. I felt as if I wanted the high of the orgasm, but I didn't want to give into my abstinence and knew that it would be impossible to have the motivation to get back onto abstaining, as the wet dreams would be even further away. I survived and I am so glad that I did.
Lessons need to be learnt. I've had worrying moments today and I feel like I've let myself down big time, firstly for watching porn again, experimenting with the erotic hypnosis that is likely to lead onto masturbation when so bored and for using lube to stroke myself a few times. But tomorrow is another day and time to get back onto my porn abstinence and back into concentrating on inducing lucid dreams, and just put masturbation to the back of my head again.

The last real opportunity for a long time to abstain and get wet dreams, lucid dreams and lucid sex/wet dreams
This is the last real opportunity to abstain for a long time, when i consider that i want to be masturbating around exam times, purely for relaxation purposes and getting to sleep easily. i want to go five months without it up to point of where the academic year begins in septmber, and i would like continue abstaining up until a few weeks before the christmas exams (if there are any). if there aren't any anyway, then i'd really like to abstain up until a few months before the may exams in 2014..... this is of course quite a while away and must get there first. but this is last real chance to get the highs of wet dreams, lucid dreams (testosterone helps) and lucid sex dreams. i've wanted these highs for a while now, i must not fall into the trap of the 'moment', the feelings of boredom, stress and hornienes. the painful uphill battle is too demotivating to want to get back up there abstaining, so i must just make the most of this opportunity and not give in.
After Yesterday, I guess I have realised this. ALthough I'm sure it was in the back of my head when I was close to giving in, I think reminding myself and referring to it frequently will make me think twice before giving in prematurely

You seem quite motivated, but you seem to be ignoring the fact that it's possible to evolve into someone who has moved beyond MB as an outlet. Not only have others successfully replaced MB with WDs, they study better and sleep well, and have little or no desire to go back to the unnatural and limited outlet of MB with its negative effects. Besides, there are millions of guys for whom MB is simply not relevant or desirable at all, simply because they have never done it, don't want it, and don't miss it.
It is indeed possible to both study well and sleep well and not be an MBer.
You've seen guys going to abstain for a 90 day reboot on no fap who decide to keep going after that, and some decide that they may very well never go back to fapping. There are other guys at other sites who have lucid sex dreams, and quite often they don't discuss MB at all because it's simply not part of their lives.
I think becoming a lucid wet dreamer is probably not a distinct two step process, where you first get lucid sex dreams, and then lose interest in MB. Making the transition to lucid wet dreamer is probably best done by simultaneously 'getting over' MB, at least in part by emotionally embracing what you intellectually see it to be -- an unnatural, unnecessary habit with negative effects. Hopefully, by the time you are studying for exams you'll be having lucid WDs and even be turned off and repelled by the idea of bothering with MB.

Texanguy. You are such a pro. Your post are very informative. I believe everything that you say. Actually, when I first entered this forum all I want to achieve is just to get another wet dream. However, as time goes by, I felt that there is something more to that. Well probably, one of my ultimate goal that I want to achieve is to be a wet dreamer. What I mean is to get consistent wet dreams. I believe that I can only achieve this through ABing.

Good luck on your journey! Earlier this year for my exams, I simply couldn't have imagined not masturbating. I found it very comforting at high times of stress, and it hepled me relax and get to sleep easily. I hope that by gaining more wet dreams by the time my exams happen, and perhaps lucid wet dreams , will turn me off from doing it. If not, i won't beat myself up over going back to masturbating, as I can always go back to abstaining after the exams finish.Sure it will take longer to get the next wet dream, but the 'memory' of how to would still be there, I would assume. Although today has been a good day, I still need to channel my energy towards lucid dreaming, to make sure that I have something to fixate on and don't have a repeat of yesterday. Although my rethinking I mentioned in a earlier post has helped me realise that continuing is worth it it.
It takes a lot effort and determination to be able to successfully 'break through' into noticing you're dreaming. It then takes more effort to be able to control the lucid dreams on higher levels of lucidity. I kind of stopped doing reality checks for a week because I have been busy with work. I think I will try and get back on top of it.
Anyway, practicing lucid dreaming or not, I will try and make it a habit over the next week "wake back to bed" technique of inducing dreams and lucid dreams. The idea is that when you wake up in REM sleep and return to REM sleep, you will have more vivid dreams and better dream recall. Also for lucid dreaming, realising reality for a short while before re-entering sleeps lets you notice you are dreaming more easily.
So, with this inducing lucid dreams or just more general dreams, in general this seems exciting and lets me test the dream world.
I will attempt it tonight and see how I get on

hey if you want to experience lucid dreaming, just start now! Seriously anyone can build up towards it from today , it's not rocket science and everyone is capable. Have a look at this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3GJTkG60X4 and look at parts 2 and 3. You could easily start a dream journal from tomorrow, and reality checks from today. Also this may make you forget about the porn addiction as you are channeling your energies towards something more exciting. That's how I'm looking at it from today onwards (again ). I'm away from home for a few weeks and there will be no wi-fi access,just broadband. I don't look at porn on my laptop, because of virus worries, and actually only ever access it on portable devicies like my playstation, ipod or kindle. I assumed because they aren't supported by windows, that they can't pick up viruses like this laptop could. I suppose if it were possible for those portable devices were to get viruses, I wouldn't watch it nor miss it. I simply watch it out of boredom when I'm abstaining, and now I want to kick this habit. I'm not even getting that horny by watching it either. I don't seem to find it that interesting and kind of get bored very quickly, even though I was bored in the first place when I started viewing it! Either way, this is a good way to hit the ground running and got longer and longer without looking at porn, for fears of failing abstinence and reasons given in a post last week. So today I got the first real indication that my body is 'full' of sperm and semen. Twice (both one after the other, the second about an hour later) when I went to urinate today, I finished the initial pee , and then noticed a slight tingle down below as if I could pee some more. So I did and it released what looked like sperm but very runny, as it must have mixed with the urine, but it was very sticky and slippery at the same time. I would assume that I'm getting closer and closer to a wet dream, because it appears that my body is at least finding ways of releasing it naturally without stimulation. So on day 37 and I believe that the very basic foundations are probably built up at this stage, just need to keep building up further. Might start doing some exercise this week to try and kick off a wet dream sooner-maybe a bit of blood flow throughout the body could spur on a wet dream, who konws! My lucid dreaming isn't really improving, although I'm increasing my reality checks at the moment so it's all building up. I'd say my mood is positive. WIll post again if anything new happens

Coming up to day 40 and I'm very pleased with that . I have built the foundations and I am sure that I'm over halfway there, in terms of when the first wet dream will happen. The no porn streak is going really well and my urges for looking it up are zilch. Delighted that this is the case and i feel much better as a result. I decidded to sleep naked last night because it was fairly hot yesterday in the UK. I've read on here over the years, about people saying that it's erotic and exciting to sleep naked, and I felt it too. I woke up to go to urinate and had a fairly big boner, and wondered if it was sleeping naked that helped that. I have joined bodybuilding.com forum for the no fap thread. Congratulations on 40 days! I think the no fap topics are gaining in momentum. They hardly existed a few years ago, and they are helping to create a new normal. The positive effects of AB have gone from personal observations by a few individuals that run counter to the 'accepted norm', to shared experiences and even scientific research implying that it is MB that is abnormal, especially frequently to porn, and may be even physically and mentally unhealthy. It is now becoming accepted that all the effects of no fap are what is natural and normal (no sense making a big list here), and that MB is detrimental to that normal state.
All of that makes it easier to AB, since all the effects are shared and seen as positive, and MB can be seen as abnormal. This makes it easier to 'dismiss' MB as an option.
With no more post-MB letdowns, I think body acceptance, body comfort and body enjoyment are a natural part of no fap, which can be enhanced by working out. I think sleeping naked is often a part of that.
Good luck in achieving your goal as a full time no fapper whose outlet is lucid WDs.

Thanks again for your post. Yes, many guys are now starting to become and are becoming regular no fappers. I think it is fantastic how a community like this can build so suddenly, and as you said, it is starting to become a new norm for the internet community at least. Who knows where it will lead to after so many benefits been documented. I think that for me as well, it will make me a better all round individual when it comes to relationships. Anyway, I started my abstinence from Masturbation on 3rd May, and my porn abstinence three days ago, and I have relapsed a few times on the latter. A bit about myself regarding masturbation and porn;
- On masturbation-I discovered masturbation at 12 and a half years old. I am now 21 and haven't really stopped or kicked the habit. I was able to reach 112 days of no fap at the age of 18, but I never had the motivation to continue afterwards. I have often used masturbation as a comfort because I have had pretty severe social anxiety, to the point where I have never had a real girlfriend and I am a virgin. Especially in the past few years, I have used masturbation as a comforting relief to fall back on for having no girlfriend or any confidence to even consider having one, and it got to the point where I regularly wouldn't even want sex for quite a while (even the day after )after the sessions, because I was so desensitized afterwards.
Also, in these past few years, I have started to masturbate at least 2-3 times a day, which is excessive. I enjoyed something which i refer to as a 'double bubble', where I would masturbate the first time to 'clear the pipes' with an average orgasm, and then attempt another one within minutes. The second orgasm took a lot longer to come , and with a densensitized penis, it made the orgasm feel more intense, because more stimulation had been applied in order to achieve the orgasm. Again though, as a result it made me kind of lose interest in wanting sex and seeking relationships with girls. It also served as a comfort because I hated my social anxiety.
Anyway with no fap, I hope that the testosterone will make me want to have the attitude of a guy who DOES want relationships with girls, even if its just to be friends with a few girls, and of course a relationship with a girl that I'd like would be awesome. I would like to have similar benefits to what has been described by many other no fappers.
In terms of porn- I have never really had an addiction to porn. I have always enjoyed using my imagination and trying to create a fantasy in my head while I masturbated, of girls from school or college. It seemed to create a better orgasm for me and I enjoyed it much more. I have only ever masturbated to porn at a maximum of three times a week. I have started porn abstinence again this week and I've had many relapses. Its kind of crazy because I only watch it out of boredom, and with flat lining at the moment, it feels boring to watch, but curiosity still gets the better of me sometimes! Hopefully a long streak of porn abstinence will make me less awkward around women.

I have also tended to eat junk food to help comfort my social anxiety,especially over the last year and a half, and have started to gain a bit of weight and fat as a result. I now weigh 13 stone and 5 lbs. This is considered well withing the overweight category of the BMI index, and although the junk food can at times help me feel good in the short term, I have kind of realised today that in the long term, it will make me more depressed if I am unhappy with my shape and thus lack even more confidence with girls. So, I think I will strongly consider getting back into exercising, casually to begin with. Maybe channeling my sexual energy or "chi" as some call it, it can help with distracting me from no fap and not feel like a challenge anymore, but a constructive change of lifestyle. Hope that makes sense. Also, maybe a reduction in fat could help utilise the extra testosterone, and spur on a wet dream sooner. I will definitely continue to sleep naked when it is this hot and make obvservations. Thank you for your post and support!

That made me think a bit. I've been able to channel some of my own AB energy into doing more exercise and eating slightly better food. I haven't noticed my social anxiety change much, though. It always was sometimes non-existant and other times very strong, and if anything, its strong more often right now. I'm not sure how common that is...
You seem to be doing pretty well! You're about as far along as me, you seem to feel pretty similar, except I've slept naked for longer, and recommend it.

Hi. I think I'll just try and see what happens. Nothing wrong with experimenting! I have read this forum for a few years actually, although I have never posted until about a year ago, so I'm familiar with much of the jargon and experiences that others have had.

I went for a long walk today along the seafront- 2 miles to one place, 2 miles back and a train journey home. I was walkig for at least 1 hour and 50 minutes altogether.I'm very pleased that I have done it. I know that It doesn't seem like that much exercise, but for me ( I have been eating loads of junk and not exercising for a while now) I think doing that more often will give me nothing but benefits. I have been considering getting back into exercising regularly and I think that a great place to start is by walking. Its kind of weird because no fap makes you feel bored at times just sitting around, so I thought "why not just go for a long refreshing walk to get the exercise and think through things in my life." Maybe I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't abstinent, I dunno.
I will keep doing exercising from now on to try and spur on a WD

Last night I had a dream of a wet dream. I didn't dream anything sexual, but I remember lying in my bed in the dream, and seeing my pajama bottoms being soaked throughout. Maybe it could be my subconscious mind's way of preparing for a wet dream?
Since I've been away from home, and haven't had any non- windows devicices that can have an internet connection, I've gone seven days without porn again. I'm very pleased. I don't miss it and this whole week just reinforces the fact that for me at least, I watch it out of boredom and perhaps a bit of curiosity, but nothing else. I am not addicted to it, it is just a bad habit of mine when I'm in a negative state of mind.

I'm in a negative state of mind now. Feeling a bit depressed to be honest. I don't want to look at porn, but the times I've felt like this before has resulted in relapsing to porn (because of my negative state of mind) and giving into AB in previous streaks. Just going to get my breakfast now and go for a long walk again. Maybe It's a mixture of being hungry, slightly lonely and upset that I've never had intimate moments or a loving relationship with any girls. Looking at dating websites and not getting any replies, or minimal replies with no effort in getting to know me, certainly isn't helping.

Hang in there brother, feelings and moments are temporary. You've made it too far to give in now and life already has it's natural ups and downs so MB'ing will just make the downs even further down so don't let relapsing become an option. Just keep staying busy and the negative state of mind will disappear. It always has for me when i've hit that wall, it's only a matter of time and effort and you'll be feeling normal again. Emotions are a bitch, you'll defeat them On a quick side note: I'm huge into running so whenever i feel that boredom or downward spiral coming on i just go out and run for miles and miles and it takes my mind away from even thinking about that kind of stuff because of how tired i'll make myself which is a huge plus! Instead of exercising like going for a run or walking far distances, I just went out for some junk food. Doner kebab to be precise. Yeah I know, not the best of foods and certainly not the healthiest. I felt too tired and drained to consider going for a long walk like I had done two days in a row before. And yes, these feelings are temporary once you ride them out or divert them elsewhere. I still don't feel that much better now, the kebab was a temporary relief but I am better than i was this morning. I am not tempted to masturbate, but still feel down. I think I need to realise that if I give in, even just once, then the chaser effect will make it incredibly difficult to want to get back into abstaining. So that's a no go area. I won't be any happier in the long run, because what I set out to do at the beginning (WDs and Lucid WDs) hasn't been fulfilled, and I'll only feel more useless after being too demotivated to continue because of such an uphill battle to get back to 44 days. It's always the weekends when these type of feelings occur! I need to just be out of the house the whole weekend from now on and do constructive stuff. Shame my academic year has finished and the football season in england has too. Oh well, I think now I need to just put it into perspective. Most people end up finding someone in the end! Most people end up getting married or a few times even, and I must just remind myself of that fact. A day to forget. Even after my walk I still felt pretty depressed about everything. I was out for at least three quarters of an hour. i don't get it. Usually going for a walk clears my head, but it just seems as if it's made me think about stuff more, so my negative thoughts have been running around just as much.
I got to the stage where I was on jackinworld, thinking about if any of the methods would be pleasurable. Man, once again, a relapse came so close due to boredom and depression. I'm serious, I wasn't even horny. I realised that in reality, they all appeared relatively boring and dull. I kept thinking about the times where I've given up the streak in the past, and the feelings of letdown and disappointment at seeing your streak go... I don't want this feeling. I need to pick myself back up. I feel tired and can now relax in bed, watching some tele. I'm sure I'll be ok, just need to keep going and deal with these type of moments in a better way.

Gave in after 45 days, but still optomisticOK so not surprisingly really, considering my recent state of mind and mood, I have given in to masturbation today within the last hour. I was in an awful mood. I was walking around town and I just felt tired, lonely, negative and all round fed up with everything really. I felt as if I just had no energy in me whatsoever. I got home and decided to get to sleep, but after messing around on the internet and stuff, I just started turning onto teasing youtube videos. I just thought, why not, I'm so bored and fed up with stuff that I wanted to experience some excitement from the erection. Well it then led to touching myself gently, turned onto more stuff, then stupidly (I'm furious with myself for doing this) went onto a porn site despite always committing to never use this laptop for porn, because of virus issues with windows. Well, I went ahead and the rest is history. It just shows how powerful masturbation can be, and how it can make you do things you normally wouldn't want to do. Where do I stand at now? I've only had one ejaculation so far. I think that given my recent mood ( I haven't been myself at all) I will count it as a slip up, not a fail. So I have been asking myself in the past half hour "Do I want to continue abstaining?" I have decided that yes, I would like to. I caved in today because I let my negative feelings and thoughts dictate that it would feel pleasurable and relieving to have a dopamine rush from an orgasm and ejaculation. In actual fact, the build up was very dull and boring. The orgasm was sudden and not that much better than a usual orgasm from a regular masturbation session- it felt ok, not outstanding. I have decided that to minimise the 'damage' of this orgasm, in terms of how long I must now wait for a wet dream. I must simply continue abstaining from now on and not participate in any masturbation today or within next few days, thus not allowing a 'chaser effect'. If I can continue abstaining afterwards, sure this orgasm will have dented my chances of a wet dream by quite a while (who knows how long ) but it certainly won't do as much damage as having multiple orgasms in a short period of time and then continuing to abstain. EDIT: Less than an hour later, the chaser effect got the better of me and I'm back to square one. I must have had 4 ejaculations in about 2 minutes. i'm not going to lie, it felt good. But I want the no fap benefits so I will start abstaining from now, unless I decide to do it before bed.

24 hours gone without any masturbation. I just need to built up from there. It did provide me with temporary relief and calmed me down a bit. I'm not going to lie, those three orgasms in about two minutes were quite nice. however they are also very short lived. The session and the real excitement only really lasts a few seconds and it is by no means spectacular.
So a few days later then, and I can reflect on it all a bit more. I didn't complete what I set out to do. I completely emptied my tank out with at least ten orgasms in 48 hours. Excessive, to say the least. I did notice that my refractory period and time to get to orgasm was considerably shorter than normal, which I suppose is a signal that a wet dream may come around quicker than having years of masturbating followed by abstinence. My thinking here is that if it takes a short amount of time to get to orgasm from masturbating, the same might happen in a future wet dream, in that the time for a wet dream my be quicker. I dunno.
One thing is that looking at no fap posts and wet dream posts constinently during the day, drives me insane. Having the constant reminder of masturbation, sex, wet dreams e.c.t , it just kind of makes me restless for some reason. It reminds me that masturbation exists and I kind of replace my masturbation addiction with the obsession about wetdreams and no fap by looking on the internet so much.
I have decided to cut away from the internet as much as possible. I am going to lock away my laptop, ipod and wireless stick for my computer. I don't have any studying to do so I'll be fine. The only chance to use the internet now is by the family computer, in the open, and so I'm not exactly going to use that for no fap or wet dream forum.a
I watched a video on motivation, search "how great I am". When i was abstinent, I watched it and felt kind of motivated and felt fired up from it. I watched it yesterday and it felt different watching it. As if all of a sudden, the power of the video has less value and seems a bit more mundane and tame.It may be all in my head, I don't know but I'm it's not.
I also feel that had I been exercising properly and trying to get into shape, I may have felt the no fap benefits more. I would like to make this my new habit instead of masturbating and using the internet so much. 24 hour in, if I sleep tonight without MBing and stick to my one month target of no internet while AB, I think I'll see great benefits. Ok then, that's all I can think of for now, I can still continue no fap and set out what I intended to originally do.

2013 JOURNEY- THE NEW ATTEMPT
In summary, Abstaining for a wet dream on its own is not enough for me now and there must be other reasons for me, to be able to have the motivation to continue. These include; - having the energy to get my fitness levels back up -having better concentration to help with my studying (two months of Abs before I start studying again might do me wonders) -to have less need for sleep and to feel more alert when waking up -to make sure that I don't fall back onto looking at porn. I now have a list of moral and spiritual reasons as to why porn is wrong and not visiting any porn sites in the last ten days or so has been a very easy decision after doing some research on why porn is evil - to have more confidence and assertiveness - to break my 112 record just for the sake of having a great achievement - to have more testosterone to help with the phenomenons of lucid dreaming - To feel more like a younger teenager again, before I knew what masturbation, was and to experience wet dreams something which I feel was robbed by masturbation
All of the above has been documented as helping, and I've experienced many of the benefits before too. This should now be my summary and reminder as to why I should continue.
I've said a few times that I've given in because of feelings that aren't linked to sexual arousal. This includes feeling depressed, lonely, stressed out or just feeling like it's not worth the effort anymore. But I now know that I need to be better than that and get the benefits I have stated above. I know not all of this is related to wet dreams but the facts are that my body takes a long time to get wet dreams and I need more of a motive to continue inbetween the wet dream times. Day 6
I'm feeling positive and pleased with how my abstinence is going. it's been difficult to get back into abstaining but I'm back on that no fap horse and doing well. I have had a rethink about my approach and mentality during times of abstinence. I have now come to the realisation that abstaining for wet dreams on it's own is not a strong enough reason to want to continue, because of the reasons I gave in my last post. So I'll give an example as to why no fap has helped me at the moment. I may be in the house for long periods of time and be bored with it. After going for a long walk or going out to places, I not only forget about fearing that I'll give in, but I'm doing more fullfilling things at the same time that I may not have been doing when I'm masturbating. Plus for most of the time when I'm out, I forget about no fap and everything related to it
Also made half a month of no porn which I'm delighted with. After doing a bit of research on the bad things about porn, now have a lot of moral reasons as to why porn is bad and why I shouldn't give the porn sites any hits, because my thinking is that if I do, I increase the views, which increases the perceived demand and thus production. I feel cleansed and the choice to not look at it is an extremely easy one at the moment. I hope to continue this indefinitely and don't see how I can cope with the guilt if I return to it again. Will report back later I konw it's a bit boring and not all wet dream related but as I said, there needs to be more reasons to abstain and I'm feeling the benefits for sure.

Congrats on half a month of no porn! Its no easy thing to go that long.
I wouldn't worry about the hits that those sites get, they will always get hits no matter what. But, it can be very good for you to not be part of the process whatsoever. Good luck!

I forgot to mention. The idea is that on my own I can't make a difference, but at least I know I'm not contributing. If more and more had that attitude, which is a growing trend on many sites and forums now, then the industry can lose money and be less harmful for those vulnerable who are involved. Sure it won't happen in the short term, and may not happen in the long term, but it gives me the peace of mind that I'm not helping towards it.
