having a WD while dreaming of having a WD?

I don't post much but what happened to me last night was so...interesting I felt I had to ask the question (in the title) here.

Long story short, I had a dream where I was getting married and in the dream I had a WD...either the night before the wedding or two nights before...I remember cleaning it up and the dream continuing, but then waking up (in the middle of the night, ~3AM) and feeling cool stickiness in my boxers.

It felt good, but I have usually (in the last year or two) woken up when I have had a WD, a few times almost right at or just before ejaculation, but this was the first time in a good while that I had a WD and didn't wake up from the dream. Was it because I was having a WD in my dream?

I've never dreamt of having a WD while having a WD but could be possible that your mind wasn't sure if it was a dream or not. I couldn't remember what I was dreaming about when I had my last WD but I woke up right after the feeling of release.
