Is there a connection between circumcision and MB?

Hey so just curious. Ever since discovery at around age 12 or so, I have been consistently MB to now. I am uncircumcised and feel that the foreskin certainly helps in the process. My friend was circumcised and once told me that he could only orgasm with lubrication and was limited to up and down motions, and of course dry humping did absolutely nothing. For me I have on several nights dry humped to orgasm, while he said that this just wasn't possible for him. Is there anyone else that has heard/felt anything along these lines?

Definitely! I think the foreskin makes it very easy to MB dry. The ability for the foreskin to glide and stimulate the head as you dry hump makes it pleasurable; I'm not sure if this applies to anyone who is circumcised, I don't know. I've never thought, heard or asked anyone about it.

The original purpose of routine circumcision, back in the 19th century, was to discourage or frustrate masturbation.

I could talk for hours about this. Yes, you are dead right that circumcised males often have to masturbate with lube. I am in a unique situation to have experienced sex both with and without a foreskin, as I have (at least partially) restored mine. The foreskin with its gliding action is brilliant, but even better are the sensitivity gains you get from being covered 24/7 and not having your penis rubbing against the insides of your underwear all the time.

Cut guys have developed thicker skin to cope with this, which results in a loss of sensitivity. This means they can't achieve pleasure from delicate sensations, so need to grip it firmly, and lube is essential if you want any sliding.

hmm... am i the oddball here. i was cut at birth. i dont use lube and MB like crazy since i was 10. i have tried lube and i hate it and instead i prefer a lite touch. i think from what ive seen cut guys that use lube and then jerk off with a death grip are missin out on lots of good pleasure. when i did the lube and tight grip all i got was a partially numb dick by the time i was finished. light touch is best i think if you are cut and it dont stop me at all im super sensitive and bee doing this 3 to 6 times a day since i was 10. i cut back considerably when i came to this site and started AB when i was 16 and im just as sensitive now at 18 as i was way back.

Wow cool! Not just me. Yeah I find that grabbing the shaft and jerking up and down is a quick way to ej but not the most pleasurable. Light touch or even a well aimed stream of water in the shower makes me happiest. My friend is more lube it up and work hard. He also has more pleasure twisting it, he said. Which, interestingly enough, does nothing for me. Although now I am actually on day 24 of AB. Each day increases my record so I am holding off as long as possible.

Interesting. I think that either way you can reach the sensitive spots, but you lose some when you lose the foreskin. Some say that circumcision was to make MB more difficult, which may or may not be true. I wasn't/am not cut, and I have been MB since 11 or so. At the end of the day, MB is common among both cut and uncut. I guess the guys who are uncut might be more sensitive and require less lube.

You are right, one starts to loose sensitivity after the cut. But at the very first days after healing the underwear is always in touch with your very sensitive nerve endings.

I am sure one has more fun with a foreskin.
