But, to answer your questions: yes, erections are common. You won't be able to get good night's rest for some time but when u do reach the point of exertion you will sleep soundly from then on until you are stressed out by other stuff. So just stick with it.

Excellent accomplishment going almost two years! Can I trade you my ability to sleep naked for one of your WD's? LOL. Seriously though, keep trying. You eventually get tired enough and it will happen. I never used to sleep naked, (my significant other talked me into it) and now I do it without much effort. When you first start sleeping nude, it is normal to feel aroused the first few days. Give it some time, and eventually you get used to it with no problem.

A good way I've found to ease the transition is to do some weights or pushups to tire yourself out, then get in bed with boxers and when you start to get an erection, watch some youtube on something non-related, like car repair or lawn maintenance. Then when your erection calms down and you are nodding to sleep, remove any clothing and fall asleep nude. Just because your butt and genitals are highly sensitive at first, and until a few weeks go by, the sensitivity will tend to keep you awake.
