Pain during Ejaculation

I'm not sure I'm ready for the truth on this, but I figure I'd post the question anyway then let myself make up my mind about how to deal with this.

An Internet friend of mine and I were ABing together recently. He decided to break his run of AB at 53 days, and reported that it 'stung like hell' when he did. A search using Google (because this site thinks the word 'pain' is too short to search for, for some reason) has turned up a disturbing (eg greater than zero) number of stories about guys who experience pain during ejaculation after a long period of AB ends. The most alarming experience I had was horrible blue balls after breaking a run of AB at 15 days, but I attribute that to the fact that I'd been edging a lot over that time. However, there's also a big difference between 15 days and 53 days, so his pain (which occurred DURING the orgasm, as opposed to mine which was simply afterward) quite possibly occurred for different reasons to mine.

I am beginning to get worried that I may be locking myself into a state where the only way out is to have an incredibly painful ejaculation. Whether that occurs by WD or by MB, it makes no difference if it hurts like hell. By the stage I'm at, a lot of people have already had a WD, and are into WD mode, so don't have the long long periods of no ejaculation for their bodies to contend with.

I've read posts about that on here before. It is recommended to drink many glasses of water before the first ejaculation. It makes the semen and sperm runnier instead of thicker, so it will come out with more ease and not be condensed and thick like jelly, so when it passes out, it will not cause irritation to the body. I think this may be the case, but I'm not completely sure.

It wasn't my case. When I broke my 28 month AB, I didn't feel any pain. On the other hand, I felt quite dizzy when the orgasm came. Since it wasn't a planned MB, I didn't drink much water ahead of time. Yes, the semen was very thick, which shouldn't be a surprise. But there was no pain, but quite the opposite.

Typically the longer you go without ejaculating, the better the resulting orgasm/ejaculation will feel. Nothing should be painful under normal circumstances regardless of how long you go, it's possible there was something else going on in his case that made it hurt (for example, he may have had a mild urinary tract infection or something)

As you may have seen on my journal, I decided to break my run of AB last night and it stung quite a lot. Afterward, It was more of a dull ache and tenderness around the prostate, which lingered today. I tried another MB session today to test things out and got virtually the same result, only slightly smaller. This sucks.

If it doesn't clear up it may be worth seeing a doctor, as you shouldn't be experiencing any sort of pain.

Can you tell me where the pain is? Is it in the shaft? In the prostate? Or is it just your Sphincter? I'm not a doctor though, I experienced pain in my shaft, prostate and sphincter but not all at the same places. Sometimes, it only the shaft due to masturbating twice in a row etc. When I broke my 67 days, I had this sharp pain in my prostate. Sometimes, it's the sphincter when I do alternating of Kegels and masturbation.

When I broke my 67 days, I had this sharp pain in my prostate. Sometimes, it's the sphincter when I do alternating of Kegels and masturbation.

That sounds exactly what I had. It's either in the prostate or, as I am beginning to suspect, the PC muscle. My theory is that it's struggling with pushing out such a big load, and particularly, one that is as thick and lumpy as mine was (hence why I need to drink more water). In thinking it was possibly going to hurt, I decided to write off any chance of enjoying it and let the load go into a cup where I then measured it. It was literally twice as big as the largest load I had measured before.

I believe the pain is some kind of pelvic floor muscle issue - straining or something - that is caused by difficulties in expelling such a big load of thick semen.

So if you suspect too... that it's the sphincter... it's cramps. You can figure it out why hahahahah

I had a few painful or uncomfortable ejaculations back when I mb'd. It's a pity that pain is so difficult to describe. But I'll try to describe my discomfort as clearly as possible.

The one kind of discomfort I experienced is a searing, burning pain in my urethra as semen moved up the shaft. This I think is due to a lack of pre-cum to neutralise the acidity of the urethra left there by urine.

There were times when it felt as if something was blocking my urethra, as if the semen stops at some point before it gushes out. The point of "blockage" would be midshaft to upper shaft. This was just uncomfortable.

The other pain would be post-ejaculation. This I just ascribe to the refactory period.

I also experienced pain in my perineum but it depended on how much I used those muscles during mb.

I just ended a 42 day AB session, my longest since 2 weeks, and had no issues. Just putting that out there as I grew very concerned reading these posts. Hope you get to the bottom of it!
