Sertraline and WD

Hello guys. First of all please excuse my poor english. I may need to go on sertraline for a while, but I'm not sure how it works with WD. will I get WD if I go on sertraline?

Don't take drugs unless prescribed by your doctor. Sertraline is used to treat depression! It may have an effect on your mood and sleep but it will have many side effects.
Most common would be diarrhea, nausea, fatigue, headache, insomnia,
Abnormal ejaculation and decreased libido.

Thank you. It will be prescribed by my doctor. I have been on it a few months and during those days as you said it decreased my libido and cut down my WD so I had no choice to MB, maybe I should have waited longer? The problem is I don't want to MB, I want it happen naturally and I'm not in a situation to have any partner for now.

I used sertraline and many other antidepressants for 12 years.
I also used Xanax, Paxil, Zoloft ....
I wish hadn't !!
They will ruin your sex life (and that includes WD) for as long as
you are taking them. They are highly addictive!
I went through HELL to get rid of them... You have no idea...
If you are already taking it and decide to stop, you will have
to wean yourself off it very gradually, really slowly...
I can offer some advice on that if you need it.
I would strongly advise you not to take any of those drugs.
At first they may seem to help, but in the long run, they
will just add more problems to your life.

Thanks for the info and the link. I actually have a close friend who is suffering from depression and is taking some of the drugs you have mentioned. I would suggest that he get some professional advice regarding this matter. Nonetheless thanks for sharing. It has really been so valuable.

Thank you. It will be prescribed by my doctor.
