Ab to WD. How long?

I have made the decision to have total AB. I am now on day 24 since my last O. I started this mainly as an experiment with my wife to see the effect of long term denial on our sex life. We have started with a minimum of 90 days so we are nearly a month in. Initially we decided to go for ruined O every few weeks but have decided to go for total AB with regular edging. We are doing the edging with great care so no accidents. So I am now hoping that I will get WDs instead of needing ruined Os. Wondering how long it will take but saw this forum and thought I would share my experiences. Over the last few days I have had a feeling of fullness in my testicles and prostate and feel horny most of the time. I don't think I have ever had a WD but have regularly MBd most of my life or had regular intercourse so this s a new adventure. Anyone have any helpful experiences/advice?

it sounds exciting to me! but it sounds very hard to do.Giving up mb and touching yourself to get a wd is one thing, but having your wife to tease you intentionally or unintentionally, sounds like a very difficult and teasing process. But the extra horniness might lead to more wet dreams. hope you do your 90 days best of luck and i'd certainly give up 90 days of sex for a few wds because you know at the end of it, your wife will be there to satisfy you at the end of the journey

it's a fetish in a way. Look up sexual erotic denial, chasity belts etc. I think it's the excitement of going crazy and starved for sex for such a long time, and then getting the fun of the massive release and pleasure at the end of the road. Well, I can only talk from my own experience. Being 63, I think that I have had some experience in matters sexual.
Conscious denial only served to increase frustration and dissatisfaction. (denial due to illness, injury, absence of partner etc.)
I never was a "only once a day/week/fortnight/month" type of person. Nor was my wife/partner. We were both well aware that spontaneity was the ideal way to go about it. No set method or timetable for us!!
I repeat, I simply don't understand the logic of deliberately "having sex" but not going "all the way" to orgasm. Maybe I have strange ideas or something, but deliberate sex without O ---- Nope that's not my idea of enjoyment.

Regarding the "negative" nature of my response: I think you will find that the WDF has a vast diversity of members. I am sure that there are some members who will add some "positive" responses.

Being much the same age as you I'm 52! I wish I could give you an honest positive answer to you question or any advice that may help you? But I think if you read the very mixed posts on this site you will soon realize there is no hard and fast rules as to getting a wet dream and how long it may take if you AB from MB and sex O and try for a WD!! So maybe no one can answer your question as from reading this site you soon realize we are all different! Its just wait and see! However you will see from reading the other post some AB for just a few days and get a WD others it takes months from my own experiences and I'm much the same age it could take you many months! As the older one gets I'm sure the chance of WD do diminish there again that's just my view and what I have found myself. There again I lost my wife to cancer a few years ago we had a very active and fantastic sex life and right up to her illness were having sex 3 4 or even 5 times + a week To me AB or MB or a WD will never match this!

But I admire you for trying I hope I don't shatter your dreams if I tell you my last WD was last August I have been AB now on and off since I lost my wife and I have AB without MB since early Jan of this year again yet still no WD! Here we are at the end of March! Not that I'm trying for one! I wish you luck and hope maybe on a positive note that you wait is not to long! As to help you could make sure you are drinking plenty of water each day some even think Edging and porn is not good to induce a WD! Not sure on that one myslef! I think the main thing is be prepaired for a long wait and realize it may take many months as to weeks! Who knows you maybe be lucky!

Thanks for so many positive and encouraging posts. As the previous poster (kevy19) said I will just have to wait and see. My initial aim was not to have a WD anyway so if I do that is a bonus. My main aim was to enjoy some variation in sex with my wife and that aspect is working really well. We are having so much more together as my desire levels are staying more constant. So it's a win win really and a WD would be great but if it doesn't come then that's fine too. I'm certainly getting much stronger nocturnal erections so maybe that is a good sign, they're even waking me up. The constant t-buzz feeling is great as well.

not really in my experience. when I abstain, I notice I produce more pre-cum and have leakage etc. which means you are basically on the right tracks and capable of wd, because you have so much sperm in you. But this has happened even after a week or so, when the wds have occurred many many weeks later.

There may be a link between amounts of REM sleep and wet dreams. I would assume that the more you dream, the more likely you are to have a wet dream. Also if you are generally quite horny in the day and have more dreams, the likelihood of having sexual dreams is higher than usual. Whether or not having more sexual dreams increases you wd frequency is something I don't know, but it could be possible.

Ways of getting more REM type dreams are 1) by sleeping for longer either by going to bed earlier than usual or sleeping in for longer than usual- this is why many teenagers have a lot of wds on the weekends. and 2) inducing dreaming by waking up early by the use of an alarm clock, and going back to sleep after a short period of time(used for lucid dreaming, research Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming WILD method)

Now on day 28. Night time experiences have been great but no WD yet. I found two nights ago that I woke with a pre orgasmic wave just concentrated on my groin area. Then the next night it was from knees up. Last night it was my whole body. I'm waking feeling like I'm just about to cum but not quite tipping over the edge. It's like my body is edging me. Last night that probably happened 10 times. Have switched to loose cotton boxers and have been drinking more water.
