Telling your partner

Ive been wanting to tell my partner about my wet dreams for a long time now, but im just way too shy to tell him. how rediculous is that! we have been together for almost 5 years and he has no idea!
I guess I also hesitate to tell him as i do realise how unknown the female wet dream is and im scared hes just going to laugh at me.

Have any of you told your partners? if so what were their reactions?

My wife too! thinks its interesting. I have yet to have a wd but she's been somewhat supportive of my quest.

If she was having wd dreams I would love to hear about them. To me it would be a turn on.

My fiancé was surprised and perhaps dubious as to how good it felt the way I described it. I've been open with her though, even having a couple of WD's while sleeping next to her. It used to be a little embarrassing to me, not any more. If it were my partner broaching the subject I'd be interested.

Just start slow. Ask if he's had a WD before... Just to start the conversation.

I told my husband a long time ago and he wasn't that interested, he's never had a WD himself, has no positive or negative associations really. I understand it's different with your bf. Maybe you could actually use that to your advantage, and let him know there's something you're embarassed about, that would also help explain why you've never dared tell him all these years. He might understand the embarassment part since that has been his emotion around it. At least then if he ever notices anything you wont have to explain too much anymore. Maybe he wants to know more and then you can answer his questions, and who knows you could even turn it into something fun by involving him and waking him up for sex... Or not. He might not share your interest at all and that's OK too, I'm sure there are plenty of other things you share.

I always tell my girlfriend about my WD's. She finds it interesting and sexy, since most of the time they involve her or dreamlike representations of her. The downside of us having sex whenever we're together is that it means I have fewer WD's, but every once in a while I'll get one when we're snuggled up asleep.
