Wet Dreams and Masturbation.

There has been some discussion whether MB affects having a WD as much as it was originally thought to have.
I PM'd a few of our members who have had or still have regular WD's. I asked them whether they MB'd as well as having WD's. Those that replied seem split almost 50-50 regarding MB affecting WD's.

Let's see what results this poll gives us.

PS If anyone thinks that there should be another option available, please let me know, and I will add it.

I've never experienced a WD without giving up ejaculation from MB/sex for a while. So for me I think it has a strong effect.
We're all different though. I'm curious to see how the poll goes

I guess it depends, it would be good to have some form of chart to keep track of days before WD after MB/sex. My most recent WD was 3 weeks ago, occure 1 day after MB, because i was busy. I've been ABing for 7 days now and i haven't had a WD since.

This is leading me to belive that WDs are not regularly occuring. Though, when i was young i had weekly WDs, i gues age would be a factor?

I haven't had a wet dream since April 2012 and this is definitely down to regular masturbation. Anywhere between 3-5 times a week. It takes me about two weeks of complete abstinence to get a WD. Could be longer now, I'm not getting any younger!

What I've noticed with the WDs I've had is that the dream has tons to do with it. I've MBed and had great WDs afterward and ABed and had none for a long while. But when my dreams get dirty I often WD, and my dreams most of the time have to do with what I'm thinking during the day.

Bottom line: I don't think WDs are so much about pressure release as they are response to (dream) stimuli.

Hi I agree with be22 above I'm sure to its all about the dream! Its a fact some folk don't dream so much or have sexy dreams maybe I should say! Many years ago I worked for and became very close to a retired eminent doctor I restored a big house for him he had been a doctor and sexual therapist and was always so very open to chat to. I well remember talking about WD with him as it has always been a point of interest for me! He was under the same feeling and thinking that it was very much down to the dream dreaming! I'm sure also MB does come in to play maybe on frequency! As does age and many other issues as well. Sorry to be down beat here for all those trying for a WD but this doctor said there is a percentage that will or never have a wet dream whatever they do he put himself in that bracket as had never had one in his life he was then in his early 60's. Yet I seemed to have so many in my late teens and 20's! and got really fed up with them. I suppose for all those trying until you try you don't know! And it maybe possible with AB from MB in time if you can't get a WD dream I think a hands free ejaculation is just as exciting as a WD anyway! In fact I find this more intense the older I have become to do this as I'm awake and with it to enjoy it the feeling is kind of much the same for me!

This is interesting to know, it means its not as simple as waiting, but not as complicated as always ABing....
