Pheromones and AB

On one of the many nofap threads on bodybuilding forums, people were stating that AB increases pheromone production. Is there any evidence behind this theory, or was it just some guy saying "I read it on the Internet so it must be true?"

I've read a lot of articles about the correlation between masturbation and testosterone levels, of which many state that the seventh day after an ejaculation is the day on which a guy is at his peak testosterone levels.

But only on the Internet have I read this though, obviously because it's a taboo topic for a lot of people. I personally think that testosterone levels do increase through AB, therefore, logically pheromones would increase. But this is my opinion; I don't think there's much 'real' evidence.

Thanks. So yeah, the answer beyond a shadow of a doubt is most definitely 'maybe'.

I too found a thread on http://www.pheromonetalk.com/pheromone- ... -9635.html that asks the same question and has some quite interesting responses. As a warning, toward the end it turns into a bit of a scrap between two posters so just skip through that if you do decide to have a read.

What I got from that thread is that a) nobody really knows for sure and b) pheromone production isn't just a straightforward thing.

Thanks for the link (and the summary). I agree with those two points. I'm no biologist. but I think pheromone and testosterone levels are probably dependent on several other things, not just MB/AB. So, that might be why the results are never definite.
