Well after I ended a 12-day AB streak by MB Monday, a chain reaction of sorts took place. The feelings down there got more and more uncomfortable until I just kept trying to MB more in an effort to relieve the discomfort. There was a twinge of pain, like you might feel with a urinary tract infection. Well, subsequent EJ's produced very clumpy semen, some that was the consistency of oatmeal. I'm thinking that all of this can't be good, and I'm wondering both how to get over this other than to MB more frequently, and also whether I will be able to AB if this could become a chronic issue for me.

If I have a prostate infection, I have no health insurance. I don't want to injure myself. So I really don't know what to do from here, guys.

Keep calm. If the pain is severe and/or persistent (ie. painfull all the time, or even just bad pain when you urinate) go see a doctor.
If its a pain when you EJ, or mild when you urinate, try drink lots of water, avoid straining and MB for a couple of days. It's likely to improve in a day or so.

Go see a doctor, Barkin! I haven't seen my doctor which is bad. I have to be accompanied though because I will embarrassed. Besides, my soon-to-be surgeon cousin is the only who can accompany me because I tell him my sexual health problems.

I also had this sharp pain in my prostate when I had my first WD and when I MB after I had my first WD. I heard it's normal due to long period of time without stimulation down there. I also experienced that, the pain in the urethra when peeing after EJ which I only feel after MB twice.

All in all go to your doctor is always the number 1 thing, Cross bridges when they come to them, it might not be anything serious so don't fret at this stage!

It is from not MBing. i know this because i had the same thing after my 32 day streak. if you MB a few times you will be fine. Drink water and MB a few times you will be set.

The most common cause of prostatitis is not ejaculating often enough or ejaculating unevenly. You ought to ejaculate often. And if you're going to ejaculate seven times in a week, it's better if you do it once a day instead of three times on Saturday and four times on Sunday.

Frequent ejaculation also prevents prostate cancer. A team of doctors led by Dr. Graham Giles found that men who ejaculated most often when they were younger had the least incidence of prostate cancer later. They found this by surveying a group of men with prostate cancer and an age-matched group of men without it and asking how often they ejaculated at various times in their life. They concluded that masturbating is better than intercourse because the body gets exposed to STDs in intercourse. Dr. Giles recommends that younger males masturbate at least six times weekly.

In your case, I don't think you need a doctor right away. In fact, it might be counterproductive because the doctor will assume you have an STD and treat you with antibiotics that won't help your situation. I suggest resuming a normal male schedule of masturbating (3 times a week to start with) and take an appropriate anti-inflammatory daily. Soaking in a hot tub daily and cutting out caffeine is also apt to help.

So my mother had a week's worth of amoxicillin that she was okay with letting me take in the case that it's an infection, and I've added ibuprofen in the case that it's inflammation (I did some research and they are okay to take together). I have been MBing to EJ 3-6 times per day to help ease the swelling. For most of those EJ's, the semen is thick, and just wells up around the tip of my penis. But I can tell there is some progress since a couple of days ago since I'm able to pee without having to push like it's a B.M.... it's just very slow progress, is all.

So I really don't know whether AB is going to be an option for me if this is the way my body's going to react. It does make me a little sad, but I don't want to have to start taking FloMax at 28... Maybe I could try a more gradual cutting back, but I'm a little scared to try it again, now.

Have you considered cycling ab and mbing periods? One day mb and the next few you ab?
I get the same issue if I abstain after a long period of just mbing. It is like a sudden shock from mbing after awhile or something.
If it persists after mbing from abstaining do go see a doctor.

I have recently after a prolonged period of abstinence used the aneros progasm for a prostate massage as I felt that I am getting very congested down there. The results were almost as spectacular as a WD!

The swelling in my prostate is finally completely gone as of today, and semen is finally flowing out normally when I EJ. I did not MB yesterday, but I did today. I'm going to try to go with the flow (ha ha) of when I actually feel a need to EJ, and see if that need might eventually decrease on its own as long as I EJ just when I feel like I absolutely need to vs. the old me in early September who would compulsively MB just for the sake of doing it. One thing I've learned from AB is that MB just isn't as fun as it used to be, anymore. Once I got out of the habit, it's become something that I slightly begrudgingly have to do, instead of something I look forward to.

I have a couple things to do with my free time to keep me busy and tired out by the end of the day. The prostate swelling issue is unfortunate, and I'm sorry that my body is not as ready as my mind is to be as ambitious as some of you are, but perhaps I will get there by this time of year next year.

I had a similar pain and started reading up, I read a Super Beta Prostate supplement review and decided to give it a shot since it had no side effects and was natural. That worked for me. I would like a free trial, sure, but I did not see anywhere on the site that directed to a paid order page for that particular product.

I like to slowly get into AB like if I was MB once a day I would slow to every other then to every fourth and then stop so that my body gets a chance to get used to it. It's always worked for me and I don't haven't had any problems since I started doing this.

After I've ABed for about 10-14 days I start noticing a bit more discomfort and sometimes pain in my balls and prostate. Generally, if it doesn't go away I break the streak with an orgasm, and then everything feels better. It's generally best if it's a quick masturbation session instead of a long one. When I have a long masturbation session after abstaining for a while the orgasm tends to be more painful vs a few smaller quick orgasms.
