AB'ers, would you mb to get your sperm quality checked?

I was just wondering if those amongst us who are AB'ing for religious reasons (and for health reasons) would mb to produce semen so that the quality of the semen can be checked? By quality I mean to see whether their sperm has good motility and good numbers.

I say yes, since I figure that its ok to loose some semen/sperm for medical requirement, only if it becomes habit again or if its not really required for testing then I'd say no...

i've definitely been interested in getting my sperm quality checked for a while now, just because you never know what you'll find until you find it! My uncle got his looked at a few years back and found out that he can't have kids because his sperm count is so low that he's shooting blanks. never would have thought that to be true but like i said, you never know.

I did this once several years ago as I developed a sharp pain in my testes during a period of abstinence. The doctor told me to masturbate regularly to avoid the pain but I think that's just the some old "masturbation is healthy" nonsense. I've never again observed any such pain during other periods of abstinence. Anyway, I had my sperm checked and luckily everything seemed just fine!

Honestly have no idea. I guess if we did get it checked then you would know if you were able to have kids in the future - but would that put you off stuff if u found out u could not father children.
Personaly I have no idea!! Guess if would be good to know if your swimmers were "swimming" or "drowing" as such. Its not as if most of us here have not produced a sample or two!!!

I would do it if I needed to for that reason, sure. But usually doctors don't do a semen analysis unless a couple tries to concieve and can't.
