Hey guys, this isn't really about WDs, but I'd like to say smth about this.
Is it true that your dick hair will grow towards your belly button? My doesn't, it grows circular around the base of my penis. Is that supposed to happen? I'm really scared that my dick hair stopped growing cause my testes malfunctioned or something. I used to get low-blowed by people in primary sch, sort of bullied. So I'd like to clarify this...

Well, mine goes to towards my belly button, but hey chill out, you're still growing, and it's no big deal anyway, what really matters is not the hair, is the "surroundings" of the hair. And like we like to say in Puerto Rico, "where there's hair, there's happiness".

The line of hair from the top of the pubic hair that goes to the belly button area is often called a "happy trail". Not all guys get this, and it's normal to not have that line of hair too. I have it, but it didn't come in for me until I was nearly 20, and I certainly didn't have a happy trail at 16, even though some guys did.

So don't worry about it - you'll probably get one too - it just comes in more slowly than the rest of the pubic hair.

Wow, at 20. I'm 19 and got it full at 13, but at 10 it was already forming. I didn't knew it was called a happy trail, good name. And actually, another thing I forgot to say was, some guys just get a little circle of hair on the shaft and others do not get any hair at all. My answers come from: porn watching, beach & gym showers, etc. I believe there is a thread about the amount of pubic hair or the shape on this forum, it has some answers, look for it on the past pages.

At 10??! Good grief man that's early! When did you start puberty?? You must have been a very early bloomer. I was kind of the opposite. Although I started puberty at 12 with some pubic hair, things developed slowly at first, and I didn't get my first ejaculation until I was nearly 15, and no armpit hair until 15 either.

Goes to show how much different we can be with this stuff.

Actually I began puberty at 9. I was the only one in school with a little mustache. Yes, that hair began to grow, up my mouth. It wasn't a big mustache, it had thin hair, obviously now I shave.

I can't remember how old I was when I got my happy trail, but I think prolly around 16-18. But I did get more chest hair in my early twenties. By "dick hair" I don't know if you mean pubes or hair that's actually on your penis, but I have some that grows on the base of mine, but I don't think I got those until my early twenties or so, either. But my regular pubes, I started to grow them probably around age 14-ish.

Yes, actually I look Caucasian, but I'm very, very mixed breed, so that may explain why I got my hair and happy trail so early. I'm Latino, but many people in the US think Latinos are tanned skinned people with sleek black hair, (like Roselyn Sanchez and Salma Hayek, for example). That's a stereotype image, I do have sleek black hair, but I'm white. My "breed mixture" comes from: Spanish, French, Arab (from Spanish "moros"), African (different tribes) and Taino (Puerto Rico's natives that disappeared with "mixing", they looked very much like Asians).

Maybe from other race that's not Caucasian I got the early growing of my happy trail.

Also I got all body hair very early, when I was in High School, I already had chest, leg, forearm, back, ass and arm pit hair.

As for "dick hair", I do have some hair on my dick, not on the groin area but in my actual dick. Maybe it's because I'm uncut. Sometimes if I retract my foreskin and let it close by itself, those little hairs get in the way and when the foreskin closes I have to reopen it, pull those hairs back with one hand and close my foreskin with the other.

My dick hair it's on the base. I mean I have hair on the base but I also have hair over the foreskin that covers my glans. And also on the downside of my penis I have hair very near the glans, (it grows on the foreskin, not in the penis tissue).

Imagine this is my penis covered by the foreskin:

It seems like it would be more comfortable that way and would probably look cooler. You could shave it, but when you pluck it it will take longer to grow back and if you just trimmed it, it could make it itchy. So, grab some tweezers and pluck em out, close to the base of each hair. It will hurt for only a second.

Women may say they like guys like Brad Pitt all shaven and perfect, but that's only to look. Cause in reality what they like is a sex beast with chest hair that touches their nipples and breasts. PS: I think the "I'm perfect cute" type of guy can't have good sex. I believe they spend more time trying to think "Look how hot I am" than trying to please their women.

OP, yes - in some people - it grows towards your navel over time. This could be considered to be Stage 6 of pubic hair growth on the charts. It happened to me after the rest of puberty was completed*, and this area continues to get hairier as the years go by - chest hair appears too, more with time also. Some people, OTOH, remain at Stage 5, and others stay at Stage 5 for a while, then go to Stage 6. *Stage 5 is considered to be the final stage of puberty, so later stages are post-puberty. I've had a Stage 6 (hair to navel,) now I'm at Stage 7 (chest hair growing.) Officially though, as I said; Stage 5 is the final stage of puberty.

yes your normal... some are lucky. I really didn't want the so called "Happy trail" to be honest. Mine started to grow in when I was 13/14.

I started getting pubic hair at 10 too, but then girls do typically start puberty earlier than boys. I had a very thick "pubic triangle" within a year, I think. Under arm hair not till 16 though and still hardly any on legs to this day. Btw, I heard somewhere that having lots of pubic/body hair indicates high testosterone levels and thus high libido, I wonder if this is true?

I don't have a huge amount of hair. Couldn't tell you when I got it.

On my head of course, then my crack which is just annoying, my armpits a little, a bit around my nipples (only in recent year or so), facial in recent years, tiny amount on arms and knuckles. Little bit on my legs. Then pubic region, and on my penis a fair way up. Very little under my penis or on my balls though.

Body hair is linked to testosterone, but only if a person has the right genes for that to be triggered. Same with "male pattern baldness." In other words, yeah, a guy gets a hairy chest or whatever bec of his testosterone, but if he doesn't have the hairy chest gene, then he won't get one, no matter how much testosterone he has. A guy can start to get a receding hair line in his 20s bec of his testosterone, but only if he has the hair balding gene. So, it's a combo of both. So a guy who is naturally not that hairy doesn't necessarily have less T than a guy who is a sasquatch with his shirt off.

It also depends on age, too. Like robertjones said, he has nipple hair, but only w/in the last year. His T levels, at his age, are probably through the roof, but he didn't get chest hair before bec he wasn't old enough (for his specific genes, some guys get hairy much younger.) But it's typical for white men to not grow too much chest hair until the mid-twenties or so. So, puberty is over, but your body isn't totally done changing into its man-form, haha.

Dude, hair patterns do not mean much of anything. The amount of hair that you have is heavily influenced by genetics that have nothing to do with your concerns. Different human populations will have different levels and different patterns of hair. As an easy illustration, there were two brothers in the Bible in Genesis, one was really hairy and one was smooth, yet they were brothers. The basic bottom line of this is that some guys have a lot of hair, and some don't and guys will have different patterns, but no two guys are really the same. I have a random patch in one spot that doesn't make any sense - and I will eventually wax it off to the point where it will not grow back, but I am not worried about it at all.

My hair grows also on the base of my penis (although I trim it). My hair generally grows down towards my penis, so in the middle it generally points downward and on the sides it's angled towards it.

Hair patterns are all over the place. Some guys are perfectly smooth except for their beard, pits and a small bush around their penis. Others, like me, have a happy trail from their bush to up between their pecs.I have a lot of chest and belly hair as well as on my shoulders, arms and back but smooth butt and legs but hair grows on my penis shaft almost all the way out to the head, so I kept that trimmed. Some guys are like apes, some aren't. It's all normal and a result of genetics.

Don't worry..I was real late at growing pubic hair (not until 16!) and used to get teased by other guys in the shower about being hairless before that, coz all these guys 4 years younger had more hair than me. But it finally came.. so everyone's grows at different rates. Interestingly I did start growing my penis and balls much earlier than I got pubic hair.

I like my pubic hair kinda hope it stays how it is. I'm not excessively hairy but i have a decent amount, I don't have chest hair and hope i never do but i can grow a mustache or a weak beard. One thing i don't like is butt hair it servers no purpose and annoys me, come on evolution, although i guess it could work like whiskers and give advanced warning of unwanted intruders.
