Jamie, do not feel like a "freak" for creating this video - you're not a freak at all. You're a pioneer and a hero, at least among this forum. I know you may feel alone in this frontier, because it has never been done before, which also means you are the only person who has done it so far. That doesn't mean there aren't others who wish they could capture their own WD's on video too - it just means you were successful in doing so, while others have not been. So you should feel a special sense of accomplishment and pride in your success of capturing a WD on video - not like "freak". OK?

As you said, hopefully your video will inspire others to try and capture their WD's on video too, and perhaps in the near future we can compare different WD's from different people, and see if they are mostly the same, or completely different. In that regard, could you please post kind of a "how-to" tutorial here or in a new thread, that explains how you were able to capture this WD on video. Such as computer software used, camera used, camera angle and positioning, camera settings, lighting, timing within your typical WD cycle, etc. I think a lot of people don't know what to use to do this, and I know you went through a learning experience before getting this very successful video.

I had a few questions about your WD video that maybe you could answer if you have time:

1 - How long had it been since you last ejaculated (either through MB or WD)?

2 - How often do you normally get WD's if you don't MB?

3 - What time did this WD occur, and how long had you been asleep for when it happened?

4 - Do you remember the dream? If so, does what you remember coincide with what was happening in the video?

5 - Did you wake up right after the WD, or did you stay asleep a while longer?

6 - Could you tell from the rest of the video before this (I assume you filmed the whole night sleeping?), how long you were erect for before the WD happened? It looks like you were already mostly erect when this video starts. I'm trying to figure out if WD's happen shortly after an erection, or after a long time being erect. I've noticed when recording myself sleeping, some of my nocturnal erections last a very long time, with at least 45 minutes common, and some lasting over an hour. I also get erections during the night that last much shorter in duration, like 5 minutes or so. It looked like in your first time lapse photo set before this video in the other WD, you started out flaccid, got erect, and the WD happened within a minute or two after getting erect. I was wondering if this video WD was the same situation or not.

What you could do is take a video of yourself having a wet dream without underwear and then just TELL us what happened. I think most of us here will believe your testimony. Some of us here are skeptical/unsure about the role “friction” plays in having a wet dream:



Another option could be to adjust the resolution and/or other controls in a video editor so only a very rudimentary picture of your anatomy is shown.

It seems I have ignored a few posts with questions in them so I will try to answer some of them.



My last WD was about a week before that. I really dont record the dates and only become aware when it seems it is taking longer than usual.



Well I answered this one before. I dont masturbate and I get a wet dream once a week or once every two weeks.



It was morning and light outside. I have the best luck getting video of this in the morning because you can see what is happening and they seem to happen in the morning anyway. This doesnt work in the winter when it is dark out at the same time, but this one happened on a Saturday. I was asleep probably a half hour before the wet dream happened. I mean after I turned the video on. What I do it when I sleep late like that I am set up already and hit record and go back to sleep. I think I woke up at one point and deleted what I recorded since nothing happened but when I fell asleep again it did. So I only edited out the boring part. The file was huge with just 5 minutes kept!



I did and I meant to write about it but I took too long and forgot the details. Like I said they are mostly the same plotwise and how they feel so I am sure I had that feeling of having to pee and then doing it. Also my dreams have started becoming slightly more personal like having people I know in them or situations that are private and erotic and would be embarrassing if told to others.



Good question. I woke up right after the video stops. I cut that out too. So I did not sleep much past the wet dream. I sort of float to the surface of consciousness as the feelings surge along towards completion.



I was erect for most of it. It was harder to tell because I was on my side. The other one with separate pictures looks like I wasnt erect for most of it. It seems like I got more erect just before the precum or semen first started coming out and my penis does press outward when this happens. When I sleep on my stomach I can feel this stronger because I press into the mattress.

Wow, so this WD happened very soon after you fell back asleep. Interesting. One of the things I've noticed with myself is if I get up in the morning, and go back to sleep, I go back to a REM dream state very quickly after falling back asleep. They say that we don't go into REM sleep mode for at least 3 to 4 hours after we initially fall asleep at night, and my video recordings of myself sleeping seems to confirm that (no nocturnal erections until after 3 or 4 hours, then they happen frequently after that when I'm in REM sleep). However, it seems when we wake up after REM sleep, we can quickly fall back into REM sleep if we go right back to sleep again. This seems to be the case here too. Some of my most vivid and intense dreams have been after getting up, then falling back asleep. However, my one and only WD happened after sleeping through the entire night, and I didn't wake up until I was half way through ejaculating. It seemed to happen at about the same time as yours - early morning daylight (like around 6AM).



I understand. Without sharing details of the dream, did it seem what was happening in your dream coincide with what was happening during your WD when you watched the video of it afterwards? Did the duration of what was happening in your dream sort of line up with what was the actual duration of your WD as recorded on the video? i.e. did the dream seem to take longer, or shorter? Was there anything you found interesting when you watched the video of your WD, like "wow, I didn't realize that happened like that" kind of thing? Any surprises? Or did it look exactly like you expected?



Do you normally sleep on your stomach? Or back? I know you said you normally don't sleep on your side, but it ended up being the perfect angle for capturing your WD on the camera. Also, what position was your foreskin in during your WD? Does your foreskin roll back by itself when you get erect everytime? It looked like it was maybe rolled back partially exposing the glans? I'm wondering if direct contact of your glans against the underwear provided extra stimulation to perhaps trigger the WD too.

i was wacthing da vid(awesome job btw)and was wondering if ur ejaculate is usually thin or thicker when you mb??? just wondering cause i was tryint to see if there was a correlation between ur WD and wen u used to MB...

I think the site needs to be careful with this video stuff; it maybe opening a whole pandora's box with people demanding more and more and slowly pushing the boundries further and further out.

If people want more then this family friendly website can allow they have the right to build another seperate adult orientated site.

Jamie, The work you did for this video and the insight is amazing. I have looked for several years for articles and research papers on wetdreams. Althouth occasionally articles mention wet dreams invariable they say that wet dreams have never been experienced in the laboratory. The work you have done in this area to better understand wetdreams is to my knowledge unmatched by professional scientists. I understand your desire to keep this private and avoid being part of a lab study. It would however be great if some scientist picked up on this and tried to reproduce WD's in the lab with some volunteer participants so wet dreams could be better understood.

Anyone else notice anything interesting that I missed?

Focus, I noticed that there appears to be marked difference in the position of the semen source during the video. It seems likely this is related to the stiffness of the erection. As you noted, the first spot appears at 1:30. By the time of the main release at 3:26, the semen source has moved at least several inches to the left. By 4:42 the last expulsion has moved to the right to an intermediate position. I believe there was some type of contraction at both 1:30 and also at 4:42 because of the rapid release and noticble quantity of fluid at these times. If there were only a partial erections at these times, these contractions would likely be unoticed in the video.

This video seems to help with one more mystery that I have seen on the WD forum. I have seen postings where guys have noticed minor staining in the morning but no recollection of a wet dream. I have found this hard to understand because the wet dreams I have had lead an abundance of liquid evidence. Based on this video it seems quite plausible that someone could experience the minor leakage or expulsions such as the 1:30 spotting and then have an end or interuption in the dream that precludes the larger ejaculation of a fully experienced WD.

Well just because you think you figured out what was happening in my wet dream doesnt mean you solved what happens in wet dreams for everyone else! That is why we need more people to attempt this. First step was getting some photos just to compare stain size and location, and we do have several examples of that.

Jamie, Good point on the usefullness of more documented videos for unravelling the mysteries of WD's. I hope your success is an encouragement to others.

Hey Jamie, thanks for the video. It really serves as a motivation factor for us who are trying to get WD, even though watching it made me erect and leaking quite a considerable amount of precum.

Got quite a few qns to ask, but most of it has been answered through Focus's analysis, which was wonderful.

Still some queries (open to all who are able to provide answers):

(1) From what I saw, your legs were on the left side of the video right? Then in what direction was your erection pointing at, cos it was not that visible in the video.

(2) Based on what you say, you last ejaculated a week ago. So for those who have abstained for more than 2 weeks and then get a WD, i suppose the ejaculate will be much more than what is shown in the video? Will the period of orgasm be longer as well?

(3) [To Jamie] Not sure if you are able to recall, the emissions from 3:26 onwards, i counted about more than 10 emissions, could you feel if the emissions were strong, like spurting out or something?

I can answer the first and third questions.

You can see my leg a little and my erection points out and up to my stomach. I think because I was on my side it pointed out more than up but in my other wet dream video which is just a bunch of timed pictures I was on my back and you can see it points upward there more clearly.

I do feel the contractions. A lot of time has passed since that particular wet dream so I cant tell you specifically for that one and I dont know if the number of felt contractions and real ones are exactly the same. The timing of the contractions seems a little fast to me. Usually in the dream there is a prolonged sense of having to pee or feeling it trickle out of me which I always thought was precum. That might be the couple times wetness appears. But during the orgasm phase if my dream is about peeing I simply feel a strong erection with a strong urge to pee which I try to hold but it keeps getting stronger and I am completely weak to stop. In my dream I imagine that I am wetting the bed or something and each contraction is a release of pee. It really feels like when you are about to pee really bad and it finally comes out except in the dream it dies down a few seconds later and then another surge happens. I know it seems like a lot to watch but in the dream it feels like a lot more not just because I feel it as endless pee but because the contractions seem to take longer.

So, Jamie, in your pee dreams, does it just feel like a release of perhaps uncomfortable pressure, like when you have to pee really bad and finally get to, or does it actually feel like an orgasm, just kind of drawn out, I guess, w/ea contraction?

Originally it felt just like pee because of course back then I didnt know anything about orgasm feelings. I can kind of tell the difference now but the dream is still powerful enough to make it a little confusing. I would not describe the pressure as uncomfortable. In fact the only negative thing about the dream itself was the fear I had that I was really wetting my bed. And that fear made it also scary that I could not stop it or wake myself up. But since I no longer am afraid of that because I have learned I am not wetting my bed I dont struggle anymore or worry about it even if it does still sometimes feel very real that I am lying in bed peeing and feeling the wetness spreading and all that. The only physical negative uncomfortable thing originally was the wet stain and embarrassment but I have also learned how to deal with that so it is not a big deal anymore.

The pressure feeling is strange to describe. I thought I did a good job a while back. It is like you feel like you have to pee but you are not yet squirming. At the same time you realize that even though you have this feeling you dont need to squeeze any muscles to keep it from coming out which makes sense because it really isnt going to anyway. In my early dreams I would squeeze those muscles (or think I was squeezing them) but they did nothing or helped make it happen. I also described the feeling that there is a slow leak or dripping during this phase where I am not quite sure if I am urinating. There were a couple scary moments in dreams where I have this feeling and then am aware in the dream suddenly that I have been peeing very slowly all along and find a very large wet area.

When the pressure becomes very great it still is not uncomfortable. It is actually a nice feeling and a relief when it releases and has this magical something about it but it is not in my control because the buildup and release all happen beyond my control no matter what I do or dont do in the dream. Also the pressure feeling is not just an inside feeling of having to pee but an outside feeling that I am becoming erect although it just feels like the whole area is growing and expanding. I also described how during the surges I feel a lifting or pressing sensation depending if I am on my back or belly, meaning I might be feeling my erection get harder and lift up against the sheets or underwear or press onto the mattress. And the video kind of shows that. Not sure what else to say...

In your opinion, do your wet dreams feel better or worse than a waking orgasm?

Welcome to the forum Mason. Most of the members here would be so lucky just to have ONE wet dream. There really aren’t that many people here who have frequent wet dreams. I don’t think it would be worth the effort unless one has wet dreams on a regular basis.

Just so you know I still try and record myself. Since I did it already it isnt as stressful to worry about making it work. In fact I did have another success recently but I wasnt going to say anything because I was really hoping someone else would post theirs, but it seems even the simple photos have stopped.

When I have one I think it would cool to have it documented and be able to see what it looked like. Of course the biggest problem for me is that I've never had one yet. If I start having them I would be willing to try and get one on video.

Please do share! It gives something to hope for, for the rest of us. As far as I'm concerned, I'm near the third month of abstinence, so I'll think about recording only after I get the first one...
