Week 1

Days 1-4 - Absolutely, insanely horny. These were definitely the worst days. Towards days 3 and 4 my resting heart rate was around 100 bpm. Not sure if that was just from an initial overload of testosterone. Couldn't fall asleep either.
Day 5 - After watching the video, I had an erection for about 70% of the night and there were 3 big twitching events that lasted 15-20 minutes each. I don't think I was close to a WD, just really horny. The twitching continued throughout the day, resulting in 30-40 involuntary, strong kegels.
Day 6 - Whatever that was, it seemed to wear me out. My balls felt almost numb, kind of buzzing.
Day 7 - The horniness levels seemed to die down a bit. Concentration was definitely up.

Overall, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm still trying to reduce the porn usage though, I definitely need a reset.

Week 2

I can't believe I've made it this far! The first 4-5 days were definitely the worst for me. This second week hasn't been nearly as bad. About half of the mornings, I've been waking up with some very strong MW and a bit of PC. I get pretty horny in the evenings, but I've been avoiding any touching or edging. Porn consumption has been substantially less, but still working on that.

Day 20

Quick update...woke up about 1 hour before my alarm extremely pissed off, angry, and jealous. My average heartrate throughout the night was around 58 bpm, but it was 73 when I awoke. I've been having a few somewhat sexual dreams the past few days, but this time I realized I was watching a certain someone have sex with someone else. I think part of the resentment and jealousy was also because I was watching them orgasm, knowing I couldn't. Did I just cock-block myself in a dream?

Week 3

Overall, the past week wasn't all that bad, just a couple of very challenging moments. I only typically get a small amount of precum after long periods of edging, so it's been surprising to see that it happens just from getting a semi now. My dick feels a bit more sensitive too, and I've been trying to avoid getting full erections because the slightest touch makes me feel very close to orgasm. I've still been restoring, which has been a challenge lately. A few nights this week, I thought I was close to a WD due to some sexual dreams and waking up with throbbing erections. Onwards with week 4!

Week 4

Time has flown by! My mind is still craving an orgasm, I've occasionally been getting some obsessive thoughts about it. I think my body has accepted it's fate though, because the random boners have at least subsided. I think I might be close though, all this week, there have been a good amount of throbbing erections during my sleep. I've been recording my sleep, so I may post the videos eventually. I still feel very full, and always like I could orgasm with the slightest touch. I've only remembered a few parts of some sexual dreams so far, but I've never been good at remembering my dreams. I'm still working on the porn issue, but I've cut back significantly. It's definitely just a mental thing though, so I need to break the habit and go cold turkey from now on.

Week 5

No WDs in sight. There's usually two or three times a night where I would get so hard it would start twitching, pulsing about every minute. Unfortunately I'm camping this weekend and didn't want to risk a WD, so I broke my AB streak last night after 34 days. After this weekend, I'll be restarting again.

Haven't updated this in awhile...

My first ever AB streak was a total of 34 days, but I think I managed to have more important changes in my life. After being single for over 9 years, I felt motivated and confident enough to start dating again. I've also managed to be about 95% porn-free, even continuing to today. I think these changes have made me feel much less depressed, and quite a bit more outgoing. So although I never achieved a WD, I think the motivation to get one allowed me to focus on other aspects of my life. I may try ABing again at some point.

With that being said, since I stopped ABing, my sexual energy and desire has been at an all-time low. When I'm being intimate with others, it's difficult to get an erection. I'm sure most of it is just caused by anxiety from not being with anyone for such a long time, but I decided to see my doctor about the ED just in case. He checked my testosterone level, and it actually came back higher than the normal range for someone my age. He said there's most likely not a physical issue, but we're going to test it again in a month. From reading a lot about guys going porn-free, it seems like there's quite a bit of "rewiring" that the brain needs to achieve before returning to normal. I think my brain is still wanting the instant gratification from watching porn, and hasn't fully adjusted yet. Most guys tend to say it takes at least 90 days. My desire seems to returning slowly, and I also think I just need to learn control my anxiety when I'm with someone.

Although slightly embarrassing, I figured I'd post the update on the post-AB/porn-free streak, just in case someone else has noticed a similar issue.
