As a member of WDF for over five years, I decided to start a new log after a few years' hiatus. A bit over 5 years ago, I had a WD, first one in decades, and I started a log that I maintained for a bit more than a year. I reported lots of "after effects" of that WD, but had no further WD action despite ABing for almost a year after that WD, so I stopped maintaining it. Over the last 3 or so years, I would visit chat often and post occasional comments on other topics.

I became part of the no-porn July group, tho I'm pretty sure I binged on porn the first weekend of July and so didn't quite make the whole month, but still a good solid 4 weeks. We've now formed a no-porn August group.

During July, I did notice more MW, and two nights later in July I woke as I was becoming erect and had what I've labeled a "dry orgasm": throbbing cock, anal contractions, body spasms, but no ejac or really even much precum. I have felt myself precumming while in chat sometimes during July, even while remaining soft or with just a bit of a semi. Was away for a long weekend, visiting family, so I would guess my subconscious shut down any possibilities of a WD (don't like to make a mess as a guest!). But I did wake each night a few times need to pee with boners, plus daily MW. The occasional brief dry orgasm a few of the nights and even today in the car driving. So I guess you are fighting two things at a time. The desire to watch porn when you are horny AND the desire to MB or orgasm. Due to the connection and because the first desire is stronger and worse, you end up watching porn or searching for pornsites substitutes perhaps while you edge yourself from time to time because you are horny. But you keep telling yourself ‚all is fine, bc I did not cum‘.
Turn that pattern around. ‚I mb to orgasm, but all is fine bc I did not watch or look for porn.‘
If you MB whenever your body tells you too bc you feel horny -in my case every 4-5 days, once a week would be even better - over the weeks you get used to NOT want to look for porn when you are horny.
THEN you might want to try to AB from MB completely. If you avoid a cold turkey there as well and first mb only every 10 days, then 15 and 20 and then stop MB at all.
But the porn issue is not likely to re-emerge because you had broken the connection between horniness and wanting to look for porn long time before.
Then you are ready to try for a WD and in the long run you will get some! But first you have got to get rid of that porn issue.

I think that was part of my obsessing with AB from MB, is that I was using porn off and on throughout that year to respond to horniness (and sometimes responding to boredom or curiosity). MBing when I feel horny may take care of the first and doing something else I enjoy may take care of the second. Now I need to think about how to deal with curiosity that leads me to look for more hard-core things when I happen to encounter something that is arousing: maybe MBing at that time will also help with that.
