So, apparently i’m back again!
Yah, i’ll be posting again, i hope, in a frequent fashion - well, as frequent as possible.
I decided i’d try to AB again. Why you may ask?
Have i changed my view in mb again? If you recall i wrote a not so small essay about my view in mb (i have this think about writing quite a bit - in fact, due my almost inability to write short texts i did stop from posting due being so much time consuming - but here we go again!) - btw, for any new member reading this you should really be aware of this: i really do write a lot (generally) and i may be a bit sarcastic… Ok, maybe not a bit… i guess you’ve figured that out already…

So i was saying, i didn’t quite change my view in mb, but i have once again recognised the main issue with mb, and it is addiction, as we all know. As any good (or maybe even a bad one, is that obvious) phycologist would tell you, admitting your own weakness, your own addiction is the first step in batting it - if you wanna battle it whatsoever, you also need to make that conscious decision.

I believe we all agree that the orgasm is one of the best things a guy can experience, and being the perpetrator of that pleasure, by the means of yours truly hand (or whatever you use) it’s somehow quite something. In fact, it is so memorable, that i’d guess most of us do remember how he learn to mb even if that has happened a long time ago. Pleasure and pain, two sides of the same coin, are not easily forgotten.
That said, its more than normal that we do seek the pleasure (some also pursue the pain… but i’m sure BDSM can be topic for another time!) and thats the reason for mb being so tempting. Its literally a the grasp of our hand at such a short distance and within our control, that basically, it’s bloody hard to to not give in. And we know what does happen, once turns to be twice, twice turns to be thrice and thrice means forever. We begin to be addicted to the feeling, and we want more. We try new mb techniques, we try new stimulants, and also, usually, porn is never enough. We end up addicted to our cocks, to our balls, to porn, to pleasure.

But when we put all of this in perspective, how many times after mb, didn’t we feel empty after? I’m not necessarily talking about guilt feelings some may deal with, i’m really talking about emptiness, like the feeling telling you to mb again because it was not enough, that feeling that tells you, what did you do, cause in the end, it wasn’t that good. Practice turns to be an addiction, and so many times, it’s not necessarily pleasurable.

And more, when you’re addicted to mb and porn don't you begin to look to everyone else differently, many times as if they were merely sex

Thus, some hard decisive actions had to be made by me. I don’t want to be ruled by my desires, by my cock, hand or porn. I don’t want to be ruled over by irrational thoughts. I want to be the master of my own destiny, i have free will (well, once again that will be topic for another day!). But in respect to mb, i want to not be a slave to it. I want to fight it. And honestly, although having a WD or becoming a WDmer is not the main goal, it would be greatly appreciated!

I’m determined to stop mbing and looking at porn. I’m my own master, not my cock or porn. It will require lost of work and determination and i’m sure many failures, despite that, i’m sure it will be worthy.

It is true since i joined the forum some years go, almost 4 years ago actually, i did mb much more than now, but still, i do mb way too much. So, its definitely time to change and embrace a new life, and off course, i count up with your support. Feel free to ask, say whatever I’ll be glad in answering or debating whatsoever.

I believe this is a fitting story in regard to mb. We mostly discovered mb by the means of curiosity. Also, such curiosity many times caused sorrow due the addiction, but still, there’s hope we can overcome it. So, mb can be our own “Pandora Box”. In the end, we just have to remember, there’s always hope.

So, these are my stats as of today: 2 days of no mb and no porn.
Last WD: about 9-10 years ago, not entirely sure, but between those dates.

i was feeling the same way about MB before i started AB. i would be so addicted and the craving was so intense, but it didn't really even feel that good once it happened. as i've been AB for a few weeks i've taken a similar viewpoint as you have: the WD is not the goal, it may happen and that would be good, but the lifestyle change is the main point.

i have begun to feel so much more comfortable with my own body. been keeping busy with hobby and activities that i have neglected for ages. exercise and working out seems so much more rewarding and fulfilling. i don't have this nagging feeling hanging around, always in the distance but ever close enough to affect my thoughts and actions.

i am just me. i feel like i am living life a better way and i am more happy for it.

It's nice to see you shifted from to much MB and AB from posting to too much posting (or too long) and AB from MB .
I do believe MB is not bad. But addiction or misuses are bad. MB is somehow linked to hornyness and sexual pleasure, it's not meant to be use as an anxiolytic pills or something you do because you're just bored.
As many things in life you can really enjoy them because it come as a reward to your efforts (like AB even for few days).

6th Day of AB,

So it's almost a week of AB, which is quite cool right?
It was a really busy couple of days, and being busy is good for AB. I was busy meeting and spending time with friends and also traveling a bit to know the country! So, really busy. No time for mb, porn, edge or whatsoever, which is just great!

Only over time did i understand what had i seen, what it did mean for the world, how it has shape our society as it goes. So many dead, almost 3000, so many more mourning. It was a terrible day, it has been terrible to live since then - cause, since that day, terrorism began to make part of our lives, even for us living at distance from it. Or are we ever living distant for it? I may live in central europe, but Nice (France) is around the corner and so is Munich, so is Paris or Brussels... It a question of some hundreds miles and terrorism is at our doors - literally, the enemy is at the gate.
American or not, we all know what terror, fear is, we have either experience it on the news or lively. It's not something easy to handle with. We can only endure.
I don't know if someone here has lost a loved one in 11th september 2001, if so, i'm really sorry.

May all the victims be forever remembered.

Good evening guys, how are you?
So, i have had little time to post, but enough time to mb, so, it's day 4 today. I did mb on sunday! It wasn't anything special and i won't make a fuss about it.
Something i'll make a fuss about is porn. Yes, i'm happy. You want to know why? I haven't looked at porn in about 2 weeks. I'm really happy with it. Apparently AB has not been a straightforward business for me despite my supposed determination... and i mean it ... although i want to to AB, most likely my determination has to be for sure strengthened. Has been a while since i last posted. Have been around but not that much willing to post. xD
AB has been not that easy honestly. Today is my 8th day of AB and i think 4th day of no porn/edge. Yah, in the past week i have watch some porn and did edge like once i think ... It doesn't make me super heavy to have caved in porn or edge, but i didn't cum, so although isn't a complete win, it's getting there.

Was so interesting reading your entries, as I recognise myself (not just your rampant sarcasm!) in your writing and experience.

I started a diary on here, endless good intentions and desire to break bad habits, where MB (and sex in general) was just a thing that's done either first thing in the morning or before bed (or both). I lasted 14 days and then found the whole bettering oneself and conversations about AB etc to be a pickup line and well, bad habits were restored. Totally her fault.

Anyway, after having a great random chat today on KiK from someone who picked up my handle off here, I'm back. My issues are still there. I still watch too much porn. It's been a while since a post, and maybe i its kinda of confession time and maybe i just need to write and express what i'm feeling at the moment, and i should say is far from pretty, but yet again, i've realised that the major objective of the forum, besides WD, is to help one another, and there are plenty of us here screaming for help.
I have been part of the forum since 20 Dec 2013, almost 3 years. Quite something right? I have not been feeling that well, unfortunately i believe my depression is back and i'm fighting too many bad thoughts that constantly cross my mind, and specially some related with ending my life. I deal with anxiety and some phobias ... yah... not an easy guy to read into... Right at the moment i have been dealing with an increasing anxiety disorder, i believe for the symptoms i'm displaying .. maybe i'll need to go back to the doctor cause i have already taken pills in my past (and not so far behind) to treat a major depression event. could it be back? is quite possible and i dread it completely. I didn't enjoy taking the pills, not that i couldn't ma ke my life normally, i could, i got lucky with the medication needed and i wasn't a walking dead and some persons get to be with the drug combination, still, i'm fearing again going to the doctor, because it would be a new one i have no idea how would treat me - i moved to a different country and here doctors are complete morons (trust me on that!). So i'm also scared of it...
Sure, i also struggle with my inner demons... something we all do, and mine have been way present in my life... I feel a bit worse than crap, i feel like the fungus growing under the crap! It's like this emptiness that i feel, an empty pain once - and i felt than on my previous depression event and it was far from nice. Furthermore i'm contemplating again suicice, happened before, and now its happening again... its not nice at all... i feel a bit lost honestly....

Sure, mb is still very much happening. I believe i should stop it. Its an addiction very much like porn and i just want to get rid of it... mb has been very much a clutch you know? when i'm feeling down, lonely, mbing helps distracting and makes me feel good. So, the difficult period continues, haven't been very well lately, either emotionally or even physically. I?m finally taking care of my health, taking some vitamins, supplements and some needed medicines to see if i can put myself together once more.

You're right saying that sperm is stores in the tubes above the testicles, which for your information are called epididymis, where sperm matures and gain motility. Thing is, specially during AB, when you are not releasing your sperm in a constant fashion. Producing sperm is a long period, it takes a lot of time and a lot of cellular divisions, which take time and actually space, so yes, when you dont ejaculate, your testicles are fuller and heavier and we all felt that so dong even come with crap you don't. In the initial stages of sperm formation they are stored in the testicles and then in the epididymis. Sa va?
