Hi guys, I have read many of your diaries, logs, journals and experiences so I thought it was time for me to share mine.
I stumbled across this forum after looking for info on wet dreams because I have never had one and want to experience one. I have masturbated regularly since about 12 or 13 so guess I have never built up any excess that would come out as a wet dream.
I have not masturbated since May 18th this year (so just over a month) and am yet to have a wet dream. I was very horny to begin with but over the past week or two I haven't felt horny at all really.
Since AB I have noticed my balls feel slightly bigger and my scrotum feels more relaxed with my balls hanging lower. I would also say I feel less stressed.
I had a very vivid dream a couple of nights ago, not sexual, but it was unlike any I have had before. It almost seemed my vision suddenly became high definition rather than blurred or cloudy like most of my dreams are.
I am hoping soon that my dreams will become more sexual so it stimulates a wet dream.

I have just read your journal Chronos which has encouraged me to give up looking at porn along with abstaining. Hopefully this will increase my chances of having a wet dream. I started to sleep with no clothes on just before I started ABing which was difficult to get used to at first, but now feels very comfortable. I usually go to bed late, about 1am, but am trying to go earlier as it looks like most guys have a wetdream between 5 and 6 hours sleep. I also sleep on my back and have found that putting a pillow on top of my pelvic area makes me feel horny for some reason.

Thanks for the encouragement BriefsBoy53. Before I masturbated on 18th May I had gone about 6 weeks without doing so. I am pretty confident I can go a lot further this time. One thing I should mention was that I didn't really enjoy the orgasm that time and I had a dull ache for a while afterwards. I read on somebody else's journal that it could be from the pelvic floor muscle not getting much action during ABing, so I trying to do some pelvic floor muscle exercises when I remember to see if that makes a difference. Thinking as I write and it was a similar ache as to when I first discovered masturbating, so that would make sense.

It was probably my journal you're thinking of. I broke an AB run of 44 days with a painful orgasm about a month ago. It took a few days for my orgasms to start to feel 'normal' again. I'm still totally in the dark as to why I felt it. I have had two separate occurrences of that since I started ABing. One was after I broke a 15-day streak, and had been edging for a lot of that. I had blue balls a lot during that run. The pain didn't occur until afterward. The other time was after 44 days, and the pain occurred during the orgasm.

Some have suggested it might have been that the load was just too thick and I needed to drink more water. Others said it may be congestion of the prostate, while the other theory is pelvic floor muscles. I just wish I knew what it was so I could get back into ABing without worrying about the pain of ending it.

Tell me more about the ache you speak of when you first discovered masturbation.

My suggestion regarding this matter is that, if symptoms persist, consult your doctor. I hope this helps. Nonetheless, in my experience so far, I haven't felt any pain whatsoever in my whole AB experience.

It must have been your journal LuvsCurvy that I remember. I will go and have another read through of it now. Interesting that we are the same age and currently had no wet dreams. Will be good to compare experiences.

The ache I had when I first discovered masturbation actually occurred just before I masturbated. I was in bed watching a love scene on the tv and had these sensations down below. I was playing with myself but not what I would call masturbating nowadays (because I didn't know how). It may have been a dry spontaneous ejaculation because nothing came out. It was a slight dull ache, not as bad as the ache last month though.

Still haven't had a cheeky wank since 18th May, not sure how many days that is because I am not interested in counting.

Not much to report at the moment, still not masturbating, still no wet dream

I am feeling much less horny during this AB than I did during my last AB about 2 months ago.

I seem to be urinating more frequently at the moment, not intentionally drinking more.

I have started to take a food supplement to increase my energy levels. It contains zinc and other minerals which contribute to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels according to the box. They also contain selenium which helps with the production of sperm. Maybe this will help quicken things up.

It wasn't in a moment of weakness though. I had been out for the night and got back home quite late. I wasn't feeling horny at all, and haven't for quite a while, so went ahead and got myself aroused. I got fully hard after about 5 minutes and had discussion in my head about whether I should carry on or not and how I would feel if I broke my abstinence. I decided that I would not be annoyed with myself as I have proved to myself I have the will power to abstain.

I started bringing myself to the edge quite a few times, alternating with right and left hands to get different sensations. After getting quite sweaty (summer has finally arrived in the UK) I went past the point of no return. Instead of tensing my penis as I reached climax I relaxed it but kept pounding my penis slowly but hard. The ejaculation was massive and I counted 8 squirts, with the first 4 being the most powerful. It felt so good I think because I consciously relaxed my muscles around my pelvic area I did not have the dull ache I had last time either. I led there after feeling happy and pleasured, and not at all guilty.

My aim is still to have a wet dream so am going to jump back on the abstinence wagon.

I am tempted to masturbate again tonight though.

The sensible thing would be to just go straight to sleep I guess.

I would also like to mention that I only worked out the total number of days I hadn't masturbated only just now. In my mind keeping a daily tally will only bring disappointment.

I reckon you should just leave it at once only, as subsequent times may bring back the dull feelings that made you try AB in the first place? And to get a WD, it's perhaps best to leave your body in AB mode.

Just over a week into this period of AB. It has been fairly easy up until now. The humid nights we are having at the moment are making me very horny. Not updated this for a while so I will explain:

I found this site very helpful in the early stages of abstanance and the support from other members was great.

Over time though I found myself reading more and more logs and journals on the forums. This became a problem as they were making me horny, which kind of defeated the purpose of using this site for support during abstanance.

Many of the members I have talked to in the chat rooms will know I am into women and guys, so this will explain the reason for getting turned on by some of the entries on the forums.

By taking a break from the daily visits to this site, I have discovered that I am far less likely to give into temptation and masturbate.

So I am nearly coming up to a month of not masturbating again and hope to continue until I have a wet dream.

I hope this doesn't come across as negative about this forum because it is not intended that way, it is just my horny brain that gets turned on by the shear mention of anything sexual.

I will update with any major developments but just wanted to explain my reason for not being on here so often. (Even writing this is making me semi hard!)

I understand totally where you're coming from. For me, it's a kind of reward for notching up another night where I didn't give in. Go to sleep, wake up with another day of having not MB'd, and check the posts that everyone from other time zones posted while I was asleep. I do think, however, it's a fine line between a distraction from MB versus a simple replacement for porn, just in a disguised form. The content might be tame, but ABing is sexual in its motive, and many of the effects are sexual as well. This forum is full of people discussing both, so it's all very sexual.

Whether or not that's a good thing when you're trying to AB is a matter of preference. At the moment, I'm opting for the approach that sexual is fine, as long as my mind is doing the work to visualise (rather than looking at images) so the site works well. For others, it may not work so well.
