Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums, and I've decided I wanted to start a log. This is gonna be my first day without MB for my log, so wish me luck! I saw these forums a couple years ago, and I tried back then for about 15 days (and had my first wd), but I stopped for some reason shortly after that.

After 8 days, I have success. It's been very easy to abstain from mb because I have a strong will xD.

Mine is kind of interesting, though. The dream I had was very sexual, and very vivid. However, I'm an extremely light sleeper (and often wake up during my dreams naturally). During the most intense part of my ejaculation, I actually woke up and felt it happening. I was laying face down on my bed, so I was positioned sort of weirdly in my underwear. Half of of my cum went in my underwear, the other half went in the athletic shorts I was wearing.

Thanks. I think the biggest contributing factor to mine was that I haven't watched porn at all during the time I've abstained, and the position I was laying in. Like I said, I have a very strong will, I haven't really been horny at all during the time I've skipped mbing besides a couple times.

I think it has something to do with the chemicals that are being released in the brain while watching porn. I think that it sort of like eating a couple crackers when you're hungry. It doesn't make you full or not want food, it just takes the edge off.

Sorry for the long absence! I've been crazy busy with normal day-to-day life, that I haven't had much personal time.

I did want to say that I have had another wet dream since then, but I forgot to photograph. My positioning was the same as last time, I was laying down on my stomach, with my penis flat against my bed, pointing straight down my underwear. I am really thinking that this position gives for a great condition to have a wet dream in!

My dream this time was also sexual, including two of the things that turn me on the most. I also started to wake up again at the start of this ejaculation. It was extremely intense, and I actually couldn't help myself from panting a little when it was over. I just wanted to say that tonight I am feeling sort of "full". For those of you used to edging, after you edging for a long period of time, do you feel a slight build up of fluids? Because I do, and that's how I am feeling now. The past two wet dreams I have had, this is the way I felt before I had them. So hopefully, with any luck, tomorrow I can wake up after having a wet dream!

Just wanted to post everyone with an update.

No more wet dreams so far since the one I had one on the 8th of this month. Although, I am pretty confident one is going to happy within the next week.

I have to say, it's been extremely easy to not masturbate during this time. I don't really get what the huge deal about it is. Yeah, I get extreme urges and whatnot, but it's pretty easy to resist them. Just gotta find something else to preoccupy you! I've been picking up extra shifts at work, and volunteering more often now that college is done for the summer. I stick to a "no porn" rule, but sometimes I break that and look at it for a bit. Of course, not touching helps a ton with resisting the urge to masturbate. I also notice the more I am around other people, the less likely I am to get a boner.

Just a quick update before I head to bed.

Today was just like yesterday was -- little temptation, and no wet dream :|. But, I am still hoping that one will occur within a week. I really believe that strength is key in all of this. The strength to believe you can do something is everything, and I just want to offer some encouragement to all of those who struggle with breaking this habit!

Still no wet dreams :|. My theory kind of seems silly now, that my body produces enough to have a wet dream after 8-12 days of abstaining to have a wet dream. However, it could also be that I have not been drinking and eating as much as I normally do. I wonder if that has something to do with it?

In any case, I'm still doing my "limited/no porn rule" as well as the "no touch rule", so everything is going great in that department. It's a great thing I can control my thoughts so well, otherwise I would've given in like four times every day xD.

I agree! I have also noticed an increased mode since breaking my porn-watching habits. I wonder why that is?

On a side note for an update:

Still going strong! I got about three hours of sleep last night, despite taking a muscle relaxer (pulled muscle) and my allergy medicine. When I woke up, I was slammed with the biggest urge to MB I've ever had in my entire life. I could not, for the life of me, regardless of the activity to get the boner to go away. I swear, it was there for an hour. Not very much pre-cum, though. But I did feel like I was going to shoot at the slightest move I made. I just kept myself busy by picking up my place, making breakfast, and taking care of my animals. It's settled down for right now, but that huge urge is still there, lurking around the corner.
