Well, I'm new here. Some facts about me: -

I'm 20 going on 21, this year.
I've NEVER had a wet dream but a couple of my friends told me how amazing it felt, so I'm curious.

I started MB at a very very young age. Probably 6-7 years old. I guess I just touched myself accidentally and somehow had an orgasm and got hooked. (kinda embarrassing, lol)
Generally, for the past 6 months or so, I've been MB-ing every day, sometimes more than once a day.

The longest I've gone w/o MB is probably 17-18 days but that was because I was in the army during that period of time and we had to stay in camp for 17 days and well, it was too hectic and tiring to even think about MB-ing.

I'm on Day 4 right now. Kinda enjoying the feeling although last night I took more than 2 hours to fall asleep cos I had a boner and it kept coming back. Had significant amounts of pre-cum although no WD. Can't wait to experience it but I think I need to keep my mind off anything erotic for at least 1 hour before bed cos' I don't wanna deprive myself of sleep again.

I started MB at about 10 years age, and had never had a WD till I discovered this site and started to AB. I had my first WD at age 21 it was so different and intense, I want more of them

I had my first voluntary WD a few days ago, and it was incredible. I'd had WDs before during forced AB, but it's different when you have control over it. It's totally worth the experience. I started kind of early (around 10-11 years old), so I'm later than you, but still.

Day 5.

I'd say not that much to report except that occasional ache in my groin/balls especially when I'm standing still.
And this evening I had a semi while on the train home from work just passively thinking about my AB and possible WD in the future. Luckily it wasn't a full hardon as I was wearing boxers and that would be really embarrassing if everyone saw the bulge through my pants.

Anyways, is it normal to have slight difficulties falling asleep? Hahaha. Yesterday was better than the night before. Hope tonight will be better. (:

tnbattalion, welcome. The simple fact is that some guys get WDs more easily and more frequently than others. Starting MB early (or at all, for that matter) are factors, but does not mean you won't get them, even frequently. If you read a lot here and on 'no fap' topics elsewhere, you can see that guys can experience positive effects from AB (abstaining), including more energy, better confidence, and better body image.

I think constant MB is kind of 'short circuiting' you sexuality, so AB can be a new experience and bring on new and good feelings. It's good that you are already enjoying the feelings.

I think it helps to realize that MB isn't necessary at all. As hundreds of millions, or even billions of guys around the world demonstrate, our brains and bodies are built to have no need to MB. Many cultures consider MB to be unhealthy and bad for you.

Getting beyond MB can feel better, more exciting, and more 'sexual' than being stuck in the MB habit. Besides the extra energy and other benefits, the feelings of pleasant horniness can become separated from the desire to MB, and you can even 'feel it' without always getting an erection. Many guys can and do look forward to another WD while having no thought or desire to MB at all.

But I think WDs are not easily attained by themselves. Instead, they are part of a non-MB lifestyle that can have many waking benefits with new and good feelings and effects. I think in order to be successful, you have to pursue and enjoy the waking effects as well as the sleeping ones.

That being said, your friends were right when they said that their WDs felt amazing. A good WD can be much more intense, longer lasting, and be a more full body experience than any MB can possibly ever be. Many guys will tell you that they also ejaculate more semen in WDs, even if they just had one a previously. Yet (for most people) WDs have none of the negative effects on horniness and positive effects of AB that MB does. This tells you that a WD isn't just a replacement for MB, it's a separate and distinct outlet with separate and distinct aftereffects.

Maybe many guys haven't thought of it like this before, but I think they'd agree: Compared to WDs, MB gives inherently inferior and incomplete orgasms, as well as having undesirable negative aftereffects.

Anyway I'm starting on Day 7 and last night I came too close to losing it. I got kinda aroused by some pictures I chanced upon while surfing the net and I made the mistake of edging for close to half an hour. After that, my balls were aching (and it radiated to my anus area) and I had trouble sleeping and kept getting erections and dripped PC for close to 2 hours before I finally fell asleep.

Well today was absolutely terrible. The blue balls feeling was haunting me throughout the day and I dreaded everytime I got off my seat and walked because they would ache so badly. And then the worst has to be when I'm standing still (like when I'm on the subway or queuing up for something), it was just plain agony.

Thank gosh it has almost fully subsided in the last 2-3 hours or so. Last night (and throughout the day, really) I really wanted to quit and just MB because the pain was getting so intense and it was really affecting my day and I didn't think it was worth it.

But I'm glad I got through it. And lesson learnt - hands off, that's it. I guess the biggest mistake that caused all these misery over the past 24hrs stemmed from me jacking off even though I had no intention to have an orgasm/ejaculation and that probably produced excessive seminal liquid that resulted in the blue balls discomfort as it could not be discharged and was producing some form of congestion in the prostate/testes area. (I hope I'm getting the theory right)

So yupp, hope this will be a word of caution to those trying to AB. May not happen to everyone but it certainly happened to me

That being said, DAY 7 CONQUERED! Normally this would be the longest I'd go w/o MB-ing since normally I would have at least 1 day during a 1 week period where I'm at least not so busy to MB. Hope good things are coming my way soon.

Well, I've now gone 10 days w/o MB.

Strangely enough (not sure if it's normal), I've haven't really been particularly horny and no pre-cum/leakage or anything of that sort. Don't recall having a hardon upon waking up either. Normal? Haha.
I also hope the stupid edging on Day 6 didn't restart my count or anything. (no ejaculation/orgasm at all, just significant pre-cum for over a span of 2 hours or so)

It's not unusual to get your 'second wind' of not being horny all of the time. It comes and goes (more puns, as usual...), and you just have to ride the waves. At least, that's what I've found.

Pay attention to the flow when you have your WD, though. When I had my WD last time, it was thicker and WAY more sticky, like Elmer's Glue. But then, I was a little dehydrated from a lot of work and not much time to eat or drink anything. Yours may be different.

But all surprisingly controllable, maybe because I don't have THAT much free time to think about it.

But last night I had a sexual dream which is pretty rare for me. I've also been looking for any catalyst to help get a wet dream, but I really don't think there is any way to force it along. The only correlation that seems to exist is frequency of ejaculation and wet dreams. I have been going for 63 days now, and still nothing. I'm going to keep at it because why not I've come this far.

The fact that you are feeling an "itch to orgasm" is a good thing. Just try enjoy the itch without acting on it. Your body will find a way to release the tension sooner or later. I hope it's soon for you!
