Started a no PMO last June 14,
2012

Early 30s - Conservative background. Married 12 years.

Began no PMO to restore authenticity to dopamine events.

Wet dreams began occurring around 2 months in to my second attempt and have been happening 70 days, then 30 days later. Very interesting, but one was quite painful and woke up with discomfort from prostate to tip. Probably because of length of retention period.

Libido was low. Due to AD's.

Observation made: WDs occur between 1st quarter and full moon, an 8 day window in the lunar cycle. Not making any claims, just gathering data.

grats on getting your WDs. what are ADs? a medication?

ADs = AntiDepressants.

Now for An update !

Tapered off ADs and officially off as of last week of May, so a little over a month.
I had my 5th wet dream June 8th. On average they happen every 41 days. I'm now on day 28 and can't wait for the next one. Balls are huge. Really huge. Like they are now noticeably bigger when I walk and my legs knock them. Also they lift/push my dick out towards my pants more so I feel more noticeable.

Not much sexual desire but every so often I feel a slight urge.

I'm about 245 days without sex or masturbation although came across a bit of porn recently - making extra sure that doesn't happen again though.

I really want to reset my brain and learn about my body's own natural ejaculation frequency. I'm very interested in seminal retention and want to keep pace with what my body is willing to do naturally. To do this I really need to collect good data by abstaining for a good length of time.

Must be getting close to my next WD. It has been 49 days since my last one and my running average for the last 7 months has been about 42 days with the longest gap being 88 days.

I feel my libido having surges especially in the evening as I am getting into bed. Hopefully it won't be long now. Still abstaining from all touching, day 262.

I am the same age as you. Have never made it past 44 days and never had a wd. I am curious. You say you are married. How is your sex life? Are you having sex as well as WDs or are you not having sex at the moment? I ask because I am married and currently sexless.

How does it go having a wd with your wife in the bed? Does she ever comment on them?

It has been 145 days since my last Wet Dream. I had stopped anticipating them and was hoping they may be seasonal, to return this winter.

Still somewhat sexually active - a few times a month (sexual energy seems to increase after the 1st quarter moon and wanes with the moon). Still practicing seminal retention and have not allowed myself to orgasm or ejaculate although I could easily if I wanted.

I will focus more on kegels as I think these exercises may have contributed to my WDs in the past 12 months. The other variable is that I'm 5 months off of SNRIs and believe my body is still returning to homeostasis.

Hey,
OMG, that's a lot of time without an WD and being AB. Congrats on that! How do you endure such time AB?
I'm trying it too, and wanna be like you, at least on AB days. I want to quit porn, edge, mb... and get WD. Still only on day 13. What's the secret for such long AB?

When I first set out to do this in 2012 I was PMO free and sexually abstinent for 7 months before I had my first wet dream.
I guess this puts me at August, but perhaps on the other hand it wont take this long second time around.

I have had this happen a few times over the last six months.
Laying in bed at night and within 30-60 minutes of falling asleep I begun to wake up with a deep sense of being both refreshed and alert. My heart rate slightly elevated and a twitching/pulsing sensation in my perenium prostate area. My breath increases slightly with my heart rate and I have that familiar sensation in my abdomen - that combination of breath and muscle tightness that happens just before ejaculation. I don't have a boner and I am thi way drifting in an out of sleep for about 30-45 minutes. During this episode I feel this crackling popping sensation/noise in my mind - I can only compare it to the same feeling you get when your sinuses pop and you can now breath clearly through your nose. In this the clearing sensation comes from my brain and a wave of wellness and preorgasmic tingling washes over me.

Hi, I have had similar experiences. Also had it with erection, almost WD. Have you tried listening to binaural beats on headphones as you go to sleep, it might enhance that experience.

I have an iPhone and use an app called Binaural beats (it's free). It allows you to adjust the frequencies to different levels until you find one you like. But also there is a timer function, so you can put it on as you are going to sleep, say for 2hrs. It can also aid sleeping or meditation.

It has been, I think, 280+ days (need to check my counter) since last WD.
I'm thinking the following variables are influencing:

1) orgasmic sex - a waste of resources
2) body is realigning since coming of SNRIs 10 months ago.
3) not as much heavy lifting (testosterone producing activities)

Seriously annoyed.

Hope you get one soon. Have you tried lucid dreaming as a way of gaining some control over your dreams and cause a WD?

Thanks monkey. I haven't been as dedicated to the mindfulness aspect of dreams as of late. I should really put more effort towards it. I used to be able to control dreams be willfully thinking of something specific at 2-3pm daily. It was almost guaranteed that id dream of whatever I was thinking of in that time window. Bizarre, I know.

The onset of the full moon last week woke me around 10:30 with those arousing feelings. I should have stayed asleep but instead 'bothered' my wife.

Tonight I'll listen to binaurals as I had done this a few weeks ago and was really getting into it.

I may create a separate post for this experience. Friday evening I experienced a lucid dream orgasm.
I had applied a heat pack to my groin from penis to perenium and while listening to erotic hypnosis I fell into a deep but lucid sleep. I awoke to a hands free orgasm.
