Hi I'm new to the forum but have been reading other people's journeys and have seen the benefits over regular MB,

I also feel my body is 'tired' of mb and therefore want to try and quit for good as long as WD's provide enough relief, I'm going to start tomorrow and would appreciate any support

Ya good luck! At your age, you should be able to have one if you abstain long enough.

You're at a really good age to quit if that's your intention. Nip it in the bud before it becomes a chronic learned habit. I started pulling myself at 13 and that was 21 years ago. You will have had much less than that.

As far as tips go, what has worked for me is to keep my mind out of the gutter to begin with. Also, to learn to enjoy the feelings of real horniness as they hit, rather than seeing them as a sign i need to change something (eg get release). I'm also trying to associate MB with the let-down at the end and other bad feelings I get as I do it. I won't say what these are but I'm sure everyone has some negative feelings they associate with MB at times, and it's important to recognise the ones that are specific to you so they work in discouraging your MB.

Good luck! And remember, if you try and fail the first, second, third, fourth attempts, that doesn't mean you need to give up. Keep at it until you get what you are aiming for.

Probably the best advice anyone could give. I'm a younger man myself and I used to have this equivalency in my head that said "Erection = Orgasm". This was the result of years of masturbation; I was stroking before I could actually cum physically. That said, even 17 days in, I have found tremendous change in this mindset. If you can handle the urge to masturbate and get off, you'll actually learn to enjoy the feelings.

Thanks for the support and decided I was gonna wait for someone to reply and give me some inspiration before I start and especially thanks for the advice as I really need to curve my MB habit as its not doing me any good and isn't enjoyable anymore and most importantly I want to know what a wet dream feels like!

I'm not really sure what the feeling of hornyness is anymore because my 'daily routine' stopped me from feeling it I guess. It should be easy for me to associate MB with something negative as it actually depresses me and makes me feel more stressed if anything instead if making me feel relaxed so that's something I could use and yes I'm going to keep trying but I'm not sure whether to do a daily log or how to go about it

Day 2 - Nothing to report been ill today and yesterday so that's been on my mind most :/

Still gotta survive tonight in bed, that's where I struggle most but im sure i can manage it
