It's been four years since my last genuine attempt at abstaining and I'm back to give it another go. I did have another log from many years ago but it has disappeared which is unfortunate, I guess I deleted it some time. Well it gives me an excellent opportunity to wipe the slate clean and give it another shot.

I've had about 2 or 3 wet dreams in my life, all in my early to mid teenage years. The experience was pretty much the same in all of them. Obviously this was years ago but from memory I can recall having a dream of a sexual nature, then I would feel a tingly feeling in my penis, testicles and thighs. This would then build to contractions where I would gain some conciousness and leave the dream. The contractions would reach a climax and I would fall back asleep. I never remembered feeling wet or sticky until waking up again in the morning to find the mess. The actual orgasm would be prolonged, I can clearly remember the length compared to conventional masturbation.

In about 2008 I decided I wanted to experience it again and found this forum. I don't think I ever abstained for more than 21 days without giving in. But now I'm back to try again.

Glad to hear you've decided to abstain! I've struggled with MB and porn for about a decade. I think in recent years I never managed to abstain for three weeks in row either, or at least never more than a month. In fact, it's been a struggle even to abstain for a week, let alone two. I'm slowly getting there, though. It's all about changing your habits and lifestyle and identifying triggers. Any particular reasons why you want to abstain? At any rate, good luck!

A number of reasons actually. Firstly I'm curious about how a wd feels, I'm quite confident that I remember mine correctly but I would like to feel it again. Secondly I enjoy the buzz from abstaining, I think there is something exciting about being loaded all the time; I know my next ejaculation will be a big one even if I mb. Finally I'm interested in se, I've been trying without much success to make myself ejaculate without touching. It's something I've always wanted to do and it might happen if I ab for a long while.

Been a few days now and its going fine. Woke up with a big boner pressing on my boxers and I throbbed a bit, hoping my body was going to release for me! Wishful thinking though, long way to go yet.

Just realised I had my last time of ejaculation as 17th November 2012 which is 5 days from now, which is obviously wrong. I can only guess I incorrectly entered 17th instead of 7th. I estimate the beginning of this journey as the 6th/7th November, about one day before my original post in this journal; but that feels like a long 5 days! I sometimes wonder if abstaining is easier when you forget how many days have passed, coming to the forum can give encouragement but then also it reminds you to masturbate in a kind of way? Regardless, nothing much has changed in the last two days for me.

Unfortunately I masturbated a couple of nights ago resetting my counter. It wasn't a slip up as such, I had to unexpectedly sleep around a family members house. Despite being early on my journey I had the idea of embarrasingly releasing my load on my mind and I couldn't shake the idea. So I was forced by stress to jack off, I felt pretty stupid after as I had ruined my tally but also the chances of having the wd or se at my family members house was so low. Funny how my mind played tricks on me I guess.

Going to put my exceptionally unsuccessful return to a log on hold as I'm currently living at home indefinitely. I highly doubt I could hide a wd in my crowded family home. I might experiment more with trying to stimulate an se from shorter periods of abstaining, 10 days or 2 weeks and the like.

I have a chance to now abstain for 2 months plus as I'm living on my own for now. I reckon I'm 3 or 4 days in now.

All going okay so far. Been a while since my last post because I have been rather busy. Nothing remarkable to report, usual horniness etc which is to be expected.
