Hi everyone,

I have read a few of the logs and journals on here are congrats to all those who are past that 1-month mark and enjoying WD's

While I've AB'd years ago, and achieved my first ever WD's (thanks WDF for the help!). I have started again at age 24, not with WD's as the goal, but to quit MB and porn and to live more cleanly now I'm engaged to my girlfriend, we plan on no sex before marriage from the time I poped the question. So while I'm not sexually active, I figure I'll join WDF for support and to report to other likeminded people how my wet dreams go. Ultimately I want to have no more addiction to MB or porn and to be able to rely on wet dreams to maintain my bodily function and sexual needs.

Currently I'm at day 9. The first 3-4 days were quite painful, with some fantastic sex before getting engaged, my body was all revved up for more! so I suffered with congestion in the prostate and balls for days. Since that, for the last week or so, I've felt great, feeling "full" and horny, but not sore! and no guilt from MBing. As for my porn addiction, I have watched twice, once early on and once today, It felt like I'd squirt my load just from watching, but there was just a bunch of pre-cum. Now I'm getting that sore feeling again from being so excited, so need to curb my addiciton if I am to stay abstinent and enjoy the feeling!

Last night i was so hopefull that a WD would happen, given how full I'm feeling, but my dreams were about a long-standing family feud that had flared up again, so I guess that sort of thing on my mind and stirring my emotions make sexuality fade into the background for a while.

In the past I think I've had to wait a minimum of 14-20 days to have my first WD. So I'll continue on and pray for a natural and guilt free release!

edit: I told my girlfriend that I am hoping for WD's to give me some relief, expressing how full I'm feeling and how its feeling good not giving in to the temptation! She simply said "get back to sleep then

Welcome Muz! Let's take this journey as part of our life. Definitely because of discipline. My advice to you is that, don't aim for a specific number of days. Instead, aim for how long can you go. For that, you won't feel bad whenever (hopefully not) you fail.

To encourage you buddy, some guys here already reached 2 years, 1 year, and soon to be one year. I haven't reached those extent. Those gentlemen are amazing! Imagine the core and hard discipline. I reached 67 days on my first try. Now, I'm starting to AB again and hoping I will beat my first record. I also had my first WD on my 67th day. I gave myself a break as I sort of suffered from sleep j/o in one week hahah. Kind of frustrating so I MB again.

I salute you for taking a break from sex and have it again when you are married.

good liuck mate, i know how hard it is, ive been addicted to MBing and porn for so long and like you want to move away from it, have just started ABing at the beging of the month -now on day 21 which i am made up about as this is the longest by far i have ever AB'd.

i would be interested to know fro you and other what helps as i always feel horny and the next MB is only a slip away

Thanks Rey! I've noticed the few guy's who've gone for a year or more, and they are inspiring!
I can't remember precisely, but I think my personal record was about 50+ days. I'll be looking to beat that for sure! But for now, just a month is my goal. I'll likely celebrate with a couple of beers and a happy post on WDF
I know I will be very frustrated if my WD's take longer than 30 days to begin... But since they aren't my primary motive for AB, I will just have to keep going.

I find that reading posts on this forum is helpful, as well as keeping active! I race bikes for fun, work a physical(ish) job, and will be aiming to go jogging more often. All this keeps me away from MB. Also, knowing my Girlfriend is not MBing either is a great help, and we talk almost every day despite living apart (she has amazing self control)

At the end of day 9 and feeling fine. Some porn this morning was a little setback in that I've felt the strain downstairs, but I find wearing supportive underwear helps, perhaps easier blood flow.

One more thing, I noticed today that I was able to hold my bladder much longer. Has anybody else noticed better bladder controll with less MB?

good things come to those that wait , i'm finding this out now

This is why I avoid porn during AB. I'm a firm believer that avoiding in depth sexual thoughts could speed up the WD process but I have no idea how to do it. I have tried but all it takes is 1 little image (could be anything even just looking at a female) or 1 mental image and it triggers a chain of sexual thoughts that don't go away easy. Thats how it works for me anyways.

I'm going to practice with changing my thoughts but with a gf thats sometimes just as perverted as me its pretty fuckin far from easy.

Sorry all. I've screwed up. I was horny as this morning and just stroked it a few times with the intention of stopping. But reached the point of no return so fast it caught me out!
So I'm back on day 1

I think my downfall was largely due to my associating MB with stress relief. It was a particularly difficult day yesterday with personal threats, family worries an police reports among other stuff.
Still. There's no excuse. I've got to find another way to reduce the stress levels.

tough one Muz, but good luck starting over agian. how many days did you amange this time.

i know what you mean about stress, i very nearly failed on Friday (Day 18), a tough day in th eoffice and was about to go to a porn site and indulge in MB when i remembered my target, but it wasnt easy. i do recognise that for me often stress is a factor as a quite time alone looking after number 1 often difuses it for me.

Starting out can be really difficult, but you can do anything you put your mind to. Keep it up!

I've been very weak lately! You're right Barkin, starting out is difficult!
I've found that my addiction to internet porn is worse than I imagined previously! I have found myself craving those images lately, I've watched a few porno vids and been horny for a few days! and wanting to recreate some of those sex-acts for myself... I will try harder to stop this stupidity!

I think that I am addicted in that I have done some crazy stuff in the past, most of which learned from porn, and I crave those things... the closest I can get to doing those things is to watch others doing it. I feel it's an addiction because I feel compelled to look up the stuff when I'm on the computer. Call it a bad habbit instead, same thing.

no need to be sorry, we're all very different, and I do see some porn as a form of art too! its amazing to see a beautiful woman in the flesh and to see a well composed photo/video... but I tend to look up more extreme things... I wont go into what now, but I dont think it could be called art...

I've noticed a great increase in energy and more positive mental state recently, coming on just after passing 3 days MB free. I'm still feeling super horny, so hope that will pass soon, especially with all the exercise and work I have planned the coming weeks!

I'm going for one week MB free now, after that will be aiming at 2 weeks, then a month... and so far 1 day porn free, 3 days is the goal for porn free (but will continue as long as i can!)

I've also been reading up on non-ejaculatory sex, for when I'm married and sexually active again. It's very interesting and I'm sure my partner will be keen to learn together how to enjoy sex without ejaculation! Has anyone got tips for this?

One week, 7 days, complete. I'm feeling good about it, and still determined to not MB!
Porn free for 3 days.
Today was easy enough as I was working all day. However when I got home I had some serious ball ache! Ouch. After doing a few things and talking with my girlfriend, I had to go for a bike ride, it worked perfectly to aleviate the sore balls . Home for a hot shower and some supportive underwear till bed time

I'm very happy to have this forum to help tracks own progress. And also to gain knowledge from others. And it feels great encouraging others too!

On day 8

I had some dreams last night, nothing's sexual, dreamt I was on a motorbike trip and someone had fallen, so went riding through hard terrain to find them, a kid with a broken hand. Had to call in a 4x4 to get him out, then the dream ended.
It's the first dream in a while, still nothing sexual in my dreams. Will just have to keep up the AB and hope.

I've had ball-ache the last two days. Yesterday it sort of went away with a hot shower, but has now totally gone after a nights sleep. Replaced with that more gentle "full prostate feeling". I'll be pedaling my bike about 60km today, so hope that helps get the blood flowing and I can forget about my balls for a while


Edit: end of day 8, the sore balls have not returned, the ride to work and back seems to have taken the edge off my hornyness. Maybe burned off some testosterone. Feeling good going into the night now, have some personal matters to take are of, dinner with parents and aim for an early bed-time as I plan on going for mass tomorrow at the local church. Means getting up early.

Going to church yesterday helped and now this week I'll be working 6 days straight, so hopefully will be too busy to think of MB at all

Today I have beaten my record of 9 days after starting to AB. So now I feel better that any day more now is progress, not catch-up! It's going to be over 40 days till I am with my fiancé again (long distance relationship till next year sometime), so that is the goal now! While she's here I generally find it easy to AB.

Waking up to day 12 now. Nearly 2 weeks

I woke up to some weird pain today, it was a sharp pain in the head/tip of my penis and some in my bladder area... I think it could be related to dehydration rather than AB. I know I didn't have enough water yesterday.

Apart from that, I'm all good, jut very sleepy! Want a longer nights sleep so bad, but it won't happen till Sunday :/
