New WD Experiment

Hey WD Forum!
Long time no see I missed you guys. It was hard for me to AB last time because of the girlfriend. I was going to take a break from sex and MB. I had planned on just ABing until I had a WD and then going back to ejaculating whenever I felt like it but I didn't last long because the relationship I'm in is very sexual and honestly it was just too damn tempting.

What makes my situation hard though is that even though I can pretty much have sex whenever I want with her I also really want to AB and have a WD. I only had 1 WD (from a AB last year when I was single) and I really want another one plus I feel in a rut lately. Even though the sex is really good I been feeling lack of energy, drive and motivation.

When I ABed last year it was the best I ever felt aside from missing MB and sex so much. I ate better, exercised, had a lot more drive, more motivation, was in touch with my dreams more, better mental focus and way more ambition.

So basically the problem is I want to AB but I also want to have sex....

I racked my brain, talked it over with my girl and finally came up with this new little AB experiment as the solution.

I'm going to have sex (no MB or edging) only 1 time per week (on Fridays) until I have a WD.

I know this will take a lot of self discipline and who knows how long or even IF it would be possible at my age to achieve a WD this way. HOWEVER I welcome the challenge and am ready to take it head on no matter how long it takes.

I use my log as a dream journal too so I'll be sure to update often.

I'm starting Friday, so tomorrow actually. Wish me luck God knows I'm going to need it.

good luck guys! sex is a tough one to pass up when you know you can have it whenever you want, i don't blame you there but try to keep things in line and in moderation and you should still be on a good path forward!

*******On a side note- I was hanging out in the chat room for a bit and came across some negative feedback about my experiment here. Two members basically told me that based on their experiences it would be impossible to achieve a WD this way and I'm wasting my time. One of the members is very well liked around here, contributes a lot and normally seems supportive but came across as dismissive and kind of rude as the conversation went on.

I'm ok with this. Rude or not I support free speech in this forum same as I would anywhere else and they certainly have the right to their opinion...Just like I have the right to disagree and say I think they are WRONG and I intend to prove it by ending this experiment with a Wet Dream.

The only reason I'm bringing it up is because I want to use that doubt as extra incentive to not relapse, cheat or cut corners on this cause. I want this to be a constant reminder to me when I struggle or feel like its taking too long and want to give up.

I'm now more determined than ever!

I took some benadryl before I went to sleep and had a ton of dream activity but I kept falling back to sleep before I could remember any of it. I'll do better next time by not taking sleep aids and keeping a note pad by bedside so I can keep better track of my dreams.

I'm not frustrated but I'm actually a little disappointed in myself. Here I said I was going to give this 100% determination and I missed a big opportunity to kick off a better start and all I had to do was not take any pills and try a little harder to record my dream.

I'll learn from my mistake and do better.

It was a fairly calm AB day. I was training someone at work so I was busier than usual, too busy to think too many perverted thoughts. When they did pop up I seemed to get them under control fast. I wonder how much longer I will be able to handle that so easy.

I got awesome news. They told me last night I finally am getting taken off the night shift in two weeks I've been so fuckin depressed the last year stuck on that shift. I thought about quitting or taking a pay cut and moving to another job but this will make my life sooo much better AND it will help my sleep which is good news for the AB.

I had a little dream last night.

I'm reading a book on how to get a lucid dream in 30 days (I believe dream recall and lucid dreaming are a mans best tool during Abstain) and it gives day by day instructions on how to get a lucid dream. One of my day 1 assignments was to start a dream journal and name every dream. I will record my dreams in this log so I guess I gotta start naming them. As corny as it sounds I want to follow the instructions thoroughly.

So here goes....

Dream name: Psycho Killa

I watched as a former co-worker, who is a very large guy btw, was dragging a giant chain. The chain had flat metal hooks on the end. I realized he was a deranged serial killer and used these chains to either torture his victims or possibly transport their bodies. The dream took place at a building on my job site but it wasn't as troubling as it sounds. The dream wasn't very scarey or intense it was actually short and dull

I appreciate the dream though. Glad I finally remembered one.

Thanks avers. My book said to appreciate every dream and I do for the fact I remembered at least something but I would def like some longer more detailed ones soon.

The name of the book is Lucid Dreams In 30 Days by Keith Harary and Pamela Weintraub I bought it at Barns and Noble. It's a really good read so far. Way better than any material I've found online.

What's funny is this is the exact book I had just started reading when I had my only WD last year. I stopped reading right after the WD but I'm glad I found it again.

On my lunch break I was messing with my phone and found a old BJ video me and my gf made awhile back that I had forgot was saved on my phone. I watched for about a minute and got really worked up. I managed to get my thoughts under control and my boner went down fairly fast. I usually have enough common sense to avoid porn during AB but every once in awhile I get bored and like to test the waters. I think I came out on top there.

I had two dreams last night:

Dream #1 name- "Get off the damn phone."
I'm at my dads old house and I'm talking to a old woman. I believe we were talking about her health and at some point she was or morphed in to Betty White All of a sudden she collapsed. I left real quick to get or do something and came back to call 911. I couldn't find a phone and I started getting mad. My dog was laying down next to the spot she collapsed. I got really pissed at him, started tossing stuff around, pushed the dog out of the way and found out the phone was under him. I don't know what happened next (?)

Dream #2 name- "Busted!"
I was walking up to my house and I heard my brother and his girlfriend talking about me from behind a garage door. There was a semi parked next to my house so I got under it to spy on them and hear what they were saying. They got into my brothers truck and left the garage. I stayed hidden so I wouldn't get caught. They started to drive out of sight so I started to crawl out when all of a sudden his (now mini cooper) started backing up, so I slid all the way back under. He parked next to the semi and said "come on out of there" I crawled out and he walked me up to my house. He told me he found me because my neighbor watched me go under the semi and called his cell. I told him I wasn't embarrassed but I really was.

i just read this entire thread and i have a couple comments...


i see know reason why u cant have a WD while having sex once a week. ive never had sex but i get extremely worked up for hours with my gf and still manage to have a WD so i dont think its impossible.

i am a bit confused haha i WD about having sex, u are AB from sex to get WD????

i dont know about others so my comments on lucid dreams are about me only. i lucid dream a lot and very rarely are they sexual in nature in fact i cant remember the last time i had a sexual dream that was lucid with maybe the exception that someone was maybe naked in it but thats it. i do know in my case that a lucid dream can later become a wet dream but not both together. meaning my wet dreams are not lucid and the very moment i become aware i wake up. same with nightmares. i have never had a lucid wet dream or nightmare and i dont think its possible. i mean face it, a nightmare is a nightmare cuz u cant change it. if i could change it it wouldnt be a nightmare now would it? same with Wet dreams, i just dont think its possible to be lucid in a wet dream. i have talked to people that claim they lucid wet dream but in every case where i was able to ask questions about it they couldnt answer. so i think these people have convinced themselves that they had a lucid wet dream when they really did not. again just my opinion.

I do see why some people have doubts this could lead to a WD. Knowing myself I believe it's very possible..I mean I can't guarantee but I can guarantee I'll give it my best shot and time is not a factor. I don't think it's going to happen without lucid dreaming though. I feel like if its going to happen it will be lucid.

I never had a lucid WD but I have no doubt they are possible. I have had lucid sexual dreams before and they felt the same as the WD I did have (as far as the sexual intensity goes) I feel like eventually I will get the right amount of build up and go lucid at the right time. My lucid skills need a lot of work and my build up needs a lot of time so I'm in no hurry. I won't avoid any questions or be dishonest when it happens (if it does) and I will admit I was wrong if it doesn't work out.

I'm getting a little better at getting rid of sexual thoughts before they snowball.

In the dream book I'm reading it teaches about using "dream incubation." I found this technique deflating and too time consuming with no results. Unfortunately The next couple days worth of assignments revolve around incubation too so I think I will thumb through the rest of the book and take out stuff I see as helpful. Too bad though because I thought the recall material was top notch and helped me a great deal.

I had a dream I titled "Asian Murder" It was about a Asian Homicide detective that was investigating a murder and while interrogating another Asian the Detective broke down and started fake crying while questioning about the murder. I think he did this as a tactic to prevoke a confession. It worked and some people were upset about this tactic for some reason. He released a statement standing behind his decision right before I woke up.

This was a very unusual dream for me..... No idea where that came from

No hardly ever. Maybe 1 a month when I don't try. I think four consecutive dream nights will be a record.
