Hey guys, I'm a long time reader but haven't really felt the need to ever register until now. My philosophy with abstaining is to completely leave a lustful life in the dust. I'm not just wanting to try to not jack off, I've already decided that I'm never going to ever again.  With that, I also forever quit all physical stimulation such as edging and humping and have quit porn and any other lustful/worldly desires. Here I am, one week later, and I haven't even had any temptations or desires to go back to jacking, edging, porn, and sexual thoughts. My reasoning for abstaining also helps me keep my mind straight, as it is heavily influenced by my religion.  Still (and forever!) going strong!

Also, I'm noticing some things that allude the fact that a wet dream is almost here. First, I'm precumming a lot. When I pee, a drop or two of precum comes out at the end. Yep keeping your self busy helps tp keep the mind off other stuff - one one to help get you though the ab I guess. Dreams are weird and random and happen when they want i think - alot like WD to be honest. Dont worry if you are not having dreams - all normal stuff.

Just cause u had a WD on day 9 befofre does not mean it will happen like this again. I think they are pretty random when they happen. I guess there's no real way around it if you do have one when you are out camping. Day 10

Religion can be one reason for abstaining, but MB has side effects, including a negative 'letdown' that WDs don't have, and AB has positive effects on energy, confidence, etc. Guys can use that energy for working out and improving their body, as well as academics. It varies from person to person, but WDs generally occur more frequently if you seriously set MB aside. Some guys even get two WDs in one night once in while, and may average 3 or more WDs per week. But others have a lot of trouble getting even a few per month.

You seem to have the potential to have rather frequent WDs, since you've proven that you can indeed get vivid and exciting WDs. That is probably a good sign, since some guys have trouble doing that. You also appear motivated, so keep trying. I suggest trying to change your attitude about MB. Try to look forward to having orgasms from sexual situations in WDs, which you have already done and enjoyed, while seeing MB as being a poor and unexciting substitute. Your latest experience with near orgasm in bed kind of proves that you really can't enjoy MB as much as a good WD.

If you think about it, full time WDers who don't have the MB habit are different from MBers in two connected ways. First, they have ALL their orgasms in exciting sexual situations such as having sex, never by MB. Second, they have virtually no interest in MB and see it as a boring waste of time.

Go for it and become one of them!

Well still nothing. I'm actually really weirded out by this AB period. I mean, I've been super horny at times (especially a couple nights ago), but I don't really feel that my body is having as big as a build up as I've had in the past.
