Okay. Here is what I found.

I was chatting with Eleazer and looking at his journal. He noted how he seemed to get more WD's when he was relaxed. He also said that he had seen similar findings in an article written in 1904 relaying the WD experience of a man over the course of eight years in the late 1800's.

In particular the journal author stated 'over-work and loss of sleep, certainly tended to make [nocturnal] emissions less frequent.'

This made me think through my own experience. I looked through my hand written journal notes I have kept on wd's going back to 2006 and was amazed when I saw what happened. Here was my experience

First adult WD happened while on vacation in 2006 in Turkey
Second one was 5 days later while on vacation in Wisconsin
Third one was July 5, 2006. This was in the morning at the end of a 4 day holiday weekend. (I had also been out of state that weekend)
Fourth one happned Sept 1, 2006 and was the last morning before a long Labor Day weekend
Fith one happend July 27th 2007. (Nothing special for that day as far as I know)
Sixth one was July 4, 2012

So out of six recorded wd's in my journal, five of them were connected with vacation or time off for a Holiday.

So at least in my case I have gotten a lot more wd's at times that I have been in some way relaxing. (Maybe I should be scheduling my next vacation.)

Curious if any one else has noticed anything like this?

I thought it would have been the opposite, when the body is under stress, as a wetdream releases endorphines that help calm a guy down....

That's what I thought too, seqiro until had my first true holiday 3 weeks ago. I had never had so many wd's in my life. As i teen i had cummed even more coz of mb, never that much due to wd's only.

I noticed the new avatar TG! very creative! I love it.

I don't think I can answer your question LOL but I have been always under stress in my life. I noticed that I only get sexual dreams when I am a bit more relaxed and have a full night sleep. I think if I have more of those full night sleep, I will have a chance of getting a WD. The only WDI got was in days where I was very relaxed and sleep very well. So indeed I think there is a correlation!

Thanks for you thoughts on how stress affects WD's. After giving this some thought I decided to start a poll on this so it would be easy for other members to contribute. I am looking forward to the votes of other members and the tally results. Hopefully it helps members here better understand how to get those elusive WD's.

Interesting. I had some of my WDs when I was busy with my homeworks & school, but I had so many WDs when I was on vacation. It seems my body doesn't care about my feelings.

One of my WDs was so different. I woke up with the alarm at 7 am, then I sat on my bed for a while and fell to sleep again, and had a WD. Sleep took 8 minutes, but it was long enough to have a WD. Can we count it as a stressful time?

Finally I have something that I found interesting to post. I had an erotic dream last night. It seemed a bit juvenile to me but here it is.

I dreamed that I was on a couch or bed with a young woman. We were laying next to each other and starting pressing against one another. It felt really exciting. It was dark so I could not see her. I was also looking through an encylopedia in articles about human sexual things. It was dark so I dont know how I could see the articles and pictures but I could and was sharing with woman. (guess that is so dream could be more erotic or something, IDK). I started thrusting against woman even though we had clothes on and was getting really excited. ....... then my sister and mom came home then it was light and i could see it was my dream girl friend. My sister came in house and I needed to introduce my girl friend but was so frantic I forgot her name! I had to ask gf what her name was so I could introduce her. She whispered me her name and then I introduced my gf to my sister. (Think I forgot her name because we had only been friends for a few hours!)

Then I woke up and for some reason desperately wanted to sleep again so I could try to continue good part of dream but it was over!

Oh well. I still really enjoyed the dream and hope to have a similar and real WD like it soon.

The past two months have been a bit of a dry spell (drought). Kind of feels like this.



Fortunately there have been some erotic, albeit dry, dreams along the way.

Day 150 (of abstaining with infrequent MB)
Day 57 (since last MB)
4 MB since starting abstaining effort
1 WD (July 4th)

4th of July is a great day to get a WD at! It proved your theory that WD needs relaxation!

I have been waiting for a wet dream and like the picture in my previous posting shows it has been quite a dry spell. So its nice to see that my brain has been working on this and I can provide a wet dream update.

Last night I dreamed I was walking through a public park and was really thirsty. I saw some water hose taps but kept searching for another place to get a drink. I finally found a water fountain for getting a drink of water. When I turned it on, rather than shooting 6 inches, the stream shot about 20 feet into the air. So in dream I had to catch the water in my mouth when it came back down. Because of the wind it was kind of hard to get my mouth in the right position to catch the water and some missed my mouth target, but eventually I got some water and was no longer thirsty.

Hope you like my wet dream story. If you are somewhat dissapointed by the conclusion though you are feeling pretty close to the way I felt when I woke up this morning and realized that was my 'wet dream' for last night.

So still waiting for WD.

Well after over 2 months of no ejaculation... things changed today.

I went over the edge and lost it.

It was just barely an mb and was almost closer to an SE. Though I wasn't stroking I did have my hand below waist and was 'pressing' When I saw a little bit of cum... my brain got so excited that everything just ran away and turned into an ejaculation like 30 seconds later.

Regardless I am going to continue to abstain.

Maybe it was an ME... a Master Ejaculation! I was talking to someone the other night about the re-sensitizing that goes on during AB, and now I can't remember who it was, but this sounds like a good example of that.

This is an example why hands off applies most of the time Sometimes, a simple breeze can set things into motion

hey TG, i read through every post in this journal and i have to say it was very interesting! got my mind going about WD's and how much MB is okay and what's the right way to handle ejaculation frequency. good luck on keeping with your program! i'm 45 days into AB and no WD yet but i'm still keeping strong for it! i guess everybody really is different when it comes to this stuff
