Hello guys, I'm Myles and this is my journal. I discovered this forum and decided to join. Its been about 6 months since my last smoke and in good faith I decided to AB from MB and Porn. Giving up cigarettes wasn't easy but I did it. Nothing can prepare you for giving up MB I swear, for someone like me who was addicted its hard. Though I am seeking religious ways to help with the whole AB process its still hard.
Now the fun part...WD. I usually have it when I am sexually inactive and had a semi WD last week (just precum and no actual ejaculate) was rudely interrupted by a knock on my door.
I just calculated my last day of MB and porn which was saturday the 3rd of March cos I remember that 4th is the sunday I went to church and made up my mind to AB. Cleared my internet history, all the porn on my laptop and phone etc.
So let's say its Day 39.

Sometime I go months and then give in to MB and then porn follows shortly. So for me MB and porn goes hand in hand. Anyway thanks men.

Its day 39 and I have been horny all day. And I'm about to sleep, I really hope to get a full WD tonight, so this tension can atleast be eased. Sigh.

Major respect to you for reaching Day 40!

I believe arousal is important in getting a WD at some point. I don't believe that WDs are merely a function of being overloaded and backed-up. So yeah, I would say is good/expected.

So Day 41 is a few hours away from ending and I have had a rough and busy day. Lost my phone today and had to do a lot of running around. Anyway the last thing I am right now is horny. Lol.

DAY 42
I feel really good about getting to day 42 of no MB and porn. The biggest challenge so far are the images of the several porno burning in my head at certain times but as soon as it comes up I always try to flush it out.
Last night nothing happened, I think its partly because I'm just very expectant of a WD. However, I read from some of you that your body needs to be re-wired so that WDs can occur naturally and more frequently. I just can't wait for that to start happening. Looking back:the semi WD I had last week (which prompted to me searching and discovering this forum) happened when I least expected it but there is no way I can actually pretend and care less about having a WD now.

Good going, dude. I've gotta say after watching other guys go dry for so long, and with my own personal experience, I don't think the rewiring process is even achievable and/or necessary for some guys.

What I mean to say, is that I had wet dreams for the first time in my forty years after Days 17 and 18 of AB. There is no way I could have rewired myself so quickly. Further to the point, if I had, why did my remaining 32 days carry on dry?

Take some pressure off yourself. If it is going to happen, it will. Best of luck.

Well well its day 44 already! I don't know why I haven't had a WD yet. I was horny for most of the day, lots of precum and I started Kegel exercise today and somehow it feels good and made me more horny and aware of my penis lol. So what do you guys feel about Kegels? Does it slow WD or otherwise?

Still no WD, horniness is on and off but I am gaining massice self control, I don't even feel or long to watch porn but I can't say say about MB but I won't fall. I feel I'll have a WD tonight but tbh I don't want it tonight lol.

Its a few hrs into day 48 and I still haven't had a WD. Its really hard but I think I am finally breaking into enjoying all this horniness. But I really need to release all the tension though. Also really into the kegels.I feel lazy about updating since there is nothing really happening lol.

MB by far is harder to give up. With smoking a change of friends, environment and a few other things can go a long way but MB? Let's just say ur dick is always with you and always hard and kicking. Lol

DAY 49

Just a day away from 50!!!! Oh boy... i slipped :oops: :oops: :oops: ....oh i didnt MB. I was on my instagram and i have this gay singer there and he posted a pic and lots of comments so i was reading and clicked on one of his followers and from there went on looking at shirtless pic of this guys and some other guys and was aroused so bad. I am not even Gay!!!! :think: :think: :think: Anyway i got turned on by the shirtless pics and the guys tattoo for some reason and i surfed for about 30mins but nothing completely nude (thanks to instagram cos nudity is forbidden) and all of a sudden it done on me that i was feeding my lust and i close it and unfollowed the singer lol. Myles, by this point I hope you have made it to day 50 and beyond. Yes, it is easy to relapse into behavior that gets us back to MB. Sometime it starts off innocent but quickly gets ramped back up if we allow it. Hope you are doing well.

Thanks Dec!!! I am fine and on DAY 51 now so yes I am still ABing, haven't had an erection during the day since day 49 passed, maybe its cos I have been extremely busy. And I still haven't had a WD. When I do y'all will know.
