Have edited FULL TEXT of Iliad, printed out A-M, still fine-editing N-Z, will print it soon.

Have made 32nd cards for Books 1-24 of the Iliad. (1, 1/32, 1/16, 3/32.......31/32, end) and ten-line cards (1-10, 11-20, 21-30,................871-877)

Thursday night: MADE VOCAB CARDS for Iliad Book III!

Need to finish vocab cards, add other nine lines to the ten-line cards, and, of course, MEMORIZE all the lines!

Day One, as usual. ;(
NoFap remains as challenging and rewarding as ever, even for a 51 year old.
The MAIN thing I'm working on right now is making cards of the Iliad.

Book I I know by heart, have performed it all over the country.
Books II-XXIV I have "ten-line cards" made up. 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc.
But they only have the first of the ten lines.
So now I'm going back and ADDING the other nine lines.

Have done that for Book II cards 1-31 of 88.

Frustratingly slow. But of course it's a HUGE build up for a HUGE epic conflict. And the regular, insistent rhythym of the poetry DOES HAVE its effect.....

Homer's heroes and princesses are REALLY something to give you a wet dream!

VERY physical, very much body-contact, VERY emotional!

And of course the powerful divine imagery has had the BIGGEST impact on structuring the Western Psyche.

So yeah, if you are Very, Very, Good, the wet-dream fairy will allow you to visit the realms of ultra-violence and super-beautiful women, the country of wet dreams as imagined by the bronze-age Greeks. And when Hermes waves his psychopomp's wand to summon you to that realm, as you lie there dreaming at night . . . YOU . . . .WILL . . .. COME! ! ! !
