I had a WD early this morning, Day 11. It wasn't amazing by any means. I don't remember having any dream at all, I just remember muscle contractions.

Today is Day 12. I want to develop the ability to lucid dream. I used to be able to realize that I was dreaming and explore the dreamscape. I have only had a few dreams in which I was totally lucid, but they were amazing! I want to rediscover that ability. Needless to say, some people want to lucid dream so that they can have sex with anybody they want, whenever they want...sometimes complications arise, though, (as I've read from web sites about lucid dreaming).

Day 12. I feel just fine, since having the WD just a couple of days ago.

This may be off-topic, but I want to get into the habit of shaving and showering every evening before bedtime. Also going to bed early (like midnight) every day. Whenever I feel like I have to MB, I can just go for a run instead, or go outside...whatever.

Today is Day 14.

I went to IHOP for a late dinner, around 10 or 10:30. I had a Colorado omelette; it comes with 3 pancakes. Also a large glass of milk.

After a bowel movement, horniness level decreases. Not that I am not grateful for my sex drive, actually I am.

When I took a intro-level college psychology course, our instructor told us that everybody has dreams, but not everybody can remember their dreams, and if you want to remember them better, the best way is to say to yourself three times before going to bed, "I want to remember my dream."

Last evening, I kept a pad of paper and a pen by my bed and every time I woke up in the middle of the night, I wrote a few words on the pad about what I had just been dreaming. Over the past couple of years, I have hardly remembered any dreams. This method (writing down what you remember on a pad) is supposed to help you get better at remembering your dreams, which is a necessary prerequisite for being able to be aware that you're dreaming, and ultimately being able to control your dreams. Lucid dreams feel every bit as real as the waking world. Except the usual laws of time/space and physics don't always apply.

Here's what I have from last night, I know it doesn't make any sense.

something about being in a space ship, a space capsule that was about to splash down into the ocean.

a truss bridge, Don (a friend from childhood)

The astronaut was taking pictures from the space capsule, I told him you don't need a fancy camera, just a point-and-shoot camera.

Can of root beer.
School under renovation.

Give your daughter access to the internet so she can learn about sex.

A package of Legos as a present.

Only setting that the printer works on.


We were playing soccer with some kids at an Orthodox church. I got mad at the kids on my team because they didn't get back on defense when the other team was attacking, like they didn't care if they got scored on.

Words written on bedsheets.

Bobby Bowden was running for president. He was the newcomer in the debates. I don't think he was a very good debater.


Playing tennis and ping-pong, waiting for my turn to play. They skipped over my turn to play. Rebecca was being rude to me. Watching friends playing tennis on TV in a major tournament.




I hope that if I can continue with the dream journal the dreams will become more memorable and I can describe the whole plot.

I was exhausted so I went to bed at 6 p.m. and I woke up around 12:30. It's now 1:15. I'm still very tired so I'm going to go back to bed in a little while after watching TV and maybe YouTube music videos.

Today will be Day 16.

I wrote down as much as I could remember of my dreams in my notebook, but it's dark, so I've no idea if I will be able to read it later on. I'm doing this because everyone who had developed the ability to lucid dream says it is the best way to start remembering your dreams, and that is necessary before one can actually become lucid (aware that it is a dream) and eventually able to control the plot line, which would be really amazing. I don't know why I ever stopped trying to lucid dream before, I was starting to get it and then I stopped.

Day 17 today.

Day 19.

I want to learn to have lucid dreams, and I am keeping a dream journal to first help me have better dream recall:

Taking the hand of a beautiful, short-haired brunette and walking her out to the stone patio in the back to sit and hold hands and talk.

Talking to a girl who was also at LANL in the summer of 99. I had been in the DOE NE/HP fellowship program. John L. asking about whether I was going to go to DeKalb to work the power plant there. There was a nuclear reactor on board a little flimsy airplane that was wobbling around in the air.


Traveling in Mexico. Gabe, Ingrid, many others on the trip. Renting a car costs only 49 dollars a week. (Nissan Sentra)

Day 20.

Wow! I had a lucid dream early Monday morning around 3:00 a.m. It was amazing! I don't remember now how I figured out that I was dreaming, but I did. I've forgotten the first half of the dream, but I remember that I went to the window to try flying, and I just went out the window and flew through the air. It was really empowering and fun. I remember that I was flying through the night air; it was cold and snowy. I decided to try to fly to France, for reasons that I will explain in a later post. When I started to lose altitude and fall back to earth, I remembered that I could regain altitude by using the jet packs on the bottoms of my feet and I rose again. I never made it to the Atlantic Ocean. It ended too soon, and was not that vivid, but it was a really great start to lucid dreaming. Of course I didn't remember at the time that I didn't need to cross the Atlantic Ocean, I could have just teleported to France. Funny how flying is such a universal desire in lucid dreams.

I expected to be able to start having lucid dreams within 2-3 months; it took LESS THAN A WEEK! I knew that having improved dream recall is necessary to developing lucid dreaming skills, so I have been working on that. My method: every night before I go to bed, I say to myself:

I want to remember my dream.
I want to remember my dream.
I want to remember my dream.

I SHALL remember my dream.
I SHALL remember my dream.
I SHALL remember my dream.

Then last night, I added:

I want to be aware that I am dreaming.
I want to be aware that I am dreaming.
I want to be aware that I am dreaming.

I SHALL be aware that I am dreaming.
I SHALL be aware that I am dreaming.
I SHALL be aware that I am dreaming.

I also have been keeping a notebook by my bed that I write in every time I wake up throughout the night or when I wake up to my alarm in the morning. I write down as much as I can remember, and each night I can remember more. I think remembering is the key to the lucid dreams becoming ever more vivid.

I am ambivalent about trying to have an erotic dream the next time I become lucid in a dream...I think perhaps I should improve my lucid dreaming skills and learn to prolong the dreams and the flights before trying to turn them in an erotic direction. I have read accounts of people who successfully have sex in their dreams and really enjoy it. Feel free to comment.

I was eating a little kid who wanted to be eaten. I ate his forearm. He belonged to a cult that believed in cannibalism and wanted to be eaten. He lived somewhere in Australia (or New Zealand?) Maybe Indonesia. He wanted to be eaten and put an ad in the paper. They talk about, plan, and follow through on being eaten. We went to Australia (or wherever it was) to investigate. We investigated their bank account activity. Mostly deposits in bank. There was a newsletter for people who wanted to be in that lifestyle and find an eater. The newsletter was based in Boston. I told Mom I could not do it, after I ate arm. She was mad at me for not continuing.


Mary Cassat wrote screenplays for films and TV. She was an Aussie. She wrote them by hand.

Day 22.

I will describe some of last night's dreams in another post. I've been far more successful at improving my dream recall than I expected, with my notebook and my other techniques that I've mentioned earlier. I'm feeling ambivalent about trying to have sex in a lucid dream, I think I should start small and become adept at lucid dreaming first. One of the intermediate steps that I would like to try while lucid dreaming is to teleport to Cap D'Agde, in France. They have a nude beach there.

10/10-10/11

Dream notes:

I had large deep pits in my face. Working at the Millenium Hotel--showing a film at a neighboring hotel. A Bollywood film that is old-fashioned and also makes fun of Bollywood. My parents come. It was in India. Discussing what kind of film it was. I had seen it before. Chinese people running the film projector at the hotel. Gave us a machine so that we could see the Chinese subtitles (?)



A different dream:

A hotel where the hotel owner/manager gave me some pills. 2 capsules and 2 tiny ones. An Indian guy. My Grandma was there.
This was a very long and vivid dream, but I have very few notes of it and I can't remember much.


A college class in which we had to print out our certificate for part of the class. The class was getting silly and playing jokes on the professor. It turned into a big party at a hotel ballroom, I think. They had live entertainment and everybody was singing along. The "Humpty Dance" guy was there and so was Darius Rucker.



I need to write down more notes for each dream so I can remember better, or maybe start talking into a digital voice recorder as soon as I wake up because that way I can record more without having to find the pen and write in the dark. I used to take medicine that gave me very vivid dreams, I think Wellbutrin, and I would look forward to going to bed every night so I would see where my next dream would take me.


Next time I have a lucid dream, I think I might just get naked and admire my abnormally large penis. It that too weird?


Also, I have read on a different web site that to increase the vividness of a lucid dream, you can shout, "Increase vividness! Increase lucidity" To prolong a lucid dream when starting to lose the dream eyesight, rub your palms together fast, and/or spin fast like Wonder Woman. The spinning thing is also done sometimes to change the scene, when in an undesirable situation.

Day 22 almost over. I was really horny earlier this evening after drinking 5 glasses of Coke.

Lately, I go to bed hoping that I can have a lucid dream that turns erotic, and remember it, I don't care very much whether I ejaculate during the dream. Some of the most amazing orgasms I've ever had were in my sleep, but weren't associated with an ejaculation.

Day 23. Not that horny after sleeping a very long time. Well, I was hoping I would have a lucid dream last evening, but I'm still not that good at it, it's going to take a while. I read on this forum that looking at porn reduces the frequency of WD; I'll bet reading Interested Girl's accounts of her erotic dreams might have a similar effect because reading them is a big turn-on.

Later I will summarize last evening's dreams, as much as I can remember, which is not much because I don't have that many notes. I thought writing down a few keywords of each dream would help me remember the rest of it, but that doesn't work, at least not yet, I have to write down as much as I can possibly remember, as soon as I wake up, or all that will remain is just the few scenes described in the keywords, and I will forget the rest. I have been saying to myself before I go to bed, "I want to remember my dream" (3X), "I SHALL remember my dream" (3X), "I want to be aware that I'm dreaming" (3x) and "I SHALL be aware that I'm dreaming" (3x). And also keeping a pad of paper by my bed.

I know it is just a matter of time until my next lucid dream, in which I plan to first walk around carefully and stabilize the dream, rub my hands together to increase the vividness, shout "Increase lucidity! Increase vividness!" to do the same thing, and then take off my clothes, just for the hell of it, and to admire my giant penis. Perhaps I will try sexual acts with other dream characters later when I am getting better at LD (lucid dreaming). Maybe I will go to the grocery store naked, and see how others react.

Star Wars trilogy, with each of the main characters (Luke, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia) played by somebody with less than 30 days to live because they have cancer. After the credits, they showed how each of the 3 people had been cured of cancer because of the film.



In a college seminar about Islam. The professor was denying that there is a strain of militancy in Islam. Indonesia, for example, is not a militant form of Islam. The seminar was held outdoors in a stadium.

Demonstrating "monster kiss" which is emotionally abusive to kids (a way to symbolically tell them that you think they are monsters).

An excellent role model in how to lead a classroom--the students were all paying attention, following instructions.

Very upset with myself for not coming to the concert. It was a costume party.

Do you take any pills to have lucid dreams? I'm trying to have the vitamin b6 from bananas,but still nothing happened. I tell myself "I'll be aware that I'm in a dream" until I fall asleep(3 times never satisfies me).And nowadays I can't remember my dreams when I wake up. Am I doing something wrong?
Anyway, you're doing very well! Keep it going! I had my WD in day 27,maybe you're so close to have one.

No, I don't take any vitamins or pills or anything. I think there are some that promote lucid dreams, but I haven't really looked into it. I remember reading that on some other web sites about lucid dreaming.

The longest dreams usually occur when you've almost gotten a full night's sleep already, perhaps after 5-7 hours of sleep. There is more than one stage of sleep that can include dreams, but dreams during REM sleep are the only ones that have a storyline, as I remember from an intro psychology class. So getting a full night's sleep is important to having dreams and to remembering them.

I have started sometimes waking up to static on the radio, so that the sound of music or talking won't dislodge the dream from my short-term memory before I have a chance to write it down. If I don't write it down within a few seconds of waking up, I will forget it, strangely enough. I think the more you write them down (even you can only remember tiny fragments) the better you get at remembering them, and eventually you don't need to write them down immediately to remember. But you might still remember more if you do.

No, I think you're it doing exactly right. Also tell yourself that you will remember your dream, over and over (or at least 3X) before falling asleep. Have you begun to sleep with a pad of paper and pen (or a voice recorder) by your bed? It helps you remember your dreams and improves your ability to remember them, I've heard that the better you are at remembering them, the more lucid dreams you can have.

I think it might also be good to have a plan for what you would like to do next time you have a lucid dream so that you don't have to decide on the spot. Some people can have lucid dream sex easily, and some people run into obstacles like their partner changing identity or sex, or becoming lifeless. It is better to become skilled at lucid dreaming before attempting to have lucid dream sex. This is what I've read on the web.
