Late for work again today. I thought it was going to be a good day, but it turned into a horrible day because I screwed up something at work and got chastised for it. The Asst. manager told me that I could be fired on the spot for saying something I shouldn't have said to a customer.

Attended my 12-Step program meeting. The traffic was horrific because of an accident, so I got there late, even though I left work in plenty of time. I didn't want to go in because I hate walking in late. I actually turned around to go back to my car, then another member that I know came to the church late. I said hi to him and he went in. I decided not to be ridiculous, and just go in late. It was a good meeting. It was on the 1st Step.

Thank you 6yrs! I really appreciate your support so much! This is a new way of life that is better.

I didn't go to my 12-Step Program meeting this morning; I decided to sleep an extra 2 hours because I needed it.
Monday I will be eligible for a red 1 month chip, representing one month of sexual sobriety (for the first time since getting involved in the program.)

Thank you, nsx. I wouldn't recommend anyone make it a life choice for the rest of their life, but during certain periods of one's life, it has its benefits. The so called "T-Buzz" is the biggest (it's not actually Testosterone, but dopamine that causes the increased desire, confidence, and sociability). 90 Days of NO PMO is really not that big a sacrifice. But I think 1 year is totally do-able.


As for sex vs. abstinence: It depends on whether you're married, or in a committed relationship. I'm thinking waiting until marriage to have sex is a really good idea. Premarital sex cheapens the institution of marriage, in my opinion.

30 minutes late to work today due to a dead car battery caused by leaving dome light on (can't remember how many times I've done that...way too many).

Did not go to 12-Step meeting yesterday because I would have been there about 20-25 minutes late. I just skipped it.
Today, could not go because of conflict with work.

Wednesday: planning to attend 12-Step meeting about an hour away because I want to attend 3 meetings this week and someone is giving their First Step Presentation, which is always enlightening and an important reminder of the potential consequences of this addiction.
