So far it has been 12 days. I am very horny, but now I just do not touch my penis (except for in the shower when I have to retract my foreskin to wash) because if I do I know I will be tempted to edge.

Days 1-12 have been uneventful, each day increases my horniness and ease to be aroused. I find I easily get an erection from just about anything. I did have a dream that started out like it would be a good one but turned bad. I dreamt that I was outside naked in front of our rock garden and I was laying with some plants and shaping them with a knife, then i looked down and cut of my dick and threw it across the yard. I woke up freaked out and scared and looked down to be sure it was still there. Needless to say, it was still there. Looking the same as always. Big sigh of relief!

Something to note The amount of preseminal fluid I have been producing has been crazy. Every day it seems to increase more and more. Just recently I went to the lavatory and out of came no less than 3 teaspoons of preseminal fluid. I was not aroused or anything, so that did not cause it. All I know Is I had to wash my foreskin that night because things under there were getting a little crazy from all of the preseminal fluid leaking of that day. When it comes out it ranges from clear to milky clear and is odorless.

Last night I was dreaming and started to feel that I was going to orgasm and have a wet dream, but for some reason it stopped. This happened 2 times! I woke up this morning and was like, "what the heck?!"

I have to admit that I am a bit surprised that I have not had a wet dream in 12 days. Last time it was only 7days since mbing, and the time before that only 4 hours since mbing. Until then I just think back to 8 months before my bar Mitzvah when I was having wet dreams several times a week, and some days two times a night. It is funny to think of how proud I was when I had my first wet dream and thought "I am a man now". It is funny to remember how annoyed I was waking up several times a week wet. I just wanted to sleep! lol

I believe the frequency of wet dreams will increase to their normal amount when the body forgets any other form of sexual release. I am here to test that theory!

My apologies for not posting every day, my life has been crazy lately good crazy, not bad crazy) This time my posting will be daily. I mean, its not going to kill me and it will make this whole process more interesting and scientific.

Got little sleep last night. Woke up, edged a little, decided this morning that I will stop edging. I had not done it all week, but I woke up with an erection and was hornier than usual. So, here I am at 2 weeks (not that anyone cares) no wet dream last night I kind of expected one because I was super exhausted from work and I slept more than 8 hours straight through. I woke up this morning with an erection and my frenulum was a little red yesterday (I think I accidentally irritated it on clothing yesterday) so I used this as an excuse to roll my foreskin back and look at it, I started rubbing it and realized what I was doing. I went on and pumped up and down a bit, but decided I did not want to have my balls ache all day, so I stopped.

I will admit that I am a little irritated that I have not had another wet dream. Never in my life has it taken me this long to get a wet dream. I guess I will just have to calm down and let things go as they will go. I do know thatI will have to stop all touching. Period. If I touch at all I know I will start playing with my foreskin and if I do that it will lead to edging and I do not want to edge, it is a completely worthless activity at this point.

Things I have noticed so far:

I have noticed that abstaining has made me way more social. I noticed this yesterday at work when I sat down in the hospital cafe and had a 20 minute conversation with a total stranger over lunch. I mean, I am normally a super friendly, charismatic person who never shuts up anyway, but I was surprised that I sat and had lunch with a total stranger. Even weirder, she was a girl! I have also noticed that I feel way more "manly" (if this is the correct word) I do not know what to say about this, but it is something I have noticed. Lastly I notice that I am finding a wider range of women more attractive.

I do have to say, as a Vegetarian that keeps Kosher, takes only freezing cold showers, who doesn't drink soda, doesnt have sweets in the house, who sleeps nude, and who does not masturbate, who does not watch (or own for that matter) televizion or porn, and who only shaves with a straight razor. I have become a more self aware human being. I feel that I understand my body more, and that I am more aware of myself. Just taking the little things away from myself that are bad for me in one way or another has made me look at my life and see that so much that people do in their lives are unnecessary. If we cut out the unnecessary we see so much more than we did before. I feel at peace, bun in a weird way, a way I did not know before.

I am writing this journal 1. to document my day to day activities and 2. to share this experience with others and to help educate them about things with which they may have little to no experience.

Thanks Scott! It is interesting really. I really think the male body is designed to be this way because in a "perfect world", a young man would have only wet dreams and would be driven to be social because in social settings one is more likely to find a mate. When one is married or masturbating, I believe that a young man no longer feels this drive as strongly because his body believes that because of the new sexual release a mate has been found and that there is no need to "go into overdrive to find one."

Zach, it really is quite odd how the body works. We may never completely understand the autonomic nervous system. When I was 8 month before my Bar Mitzvah I started having wet dreams and had a ton of them. Several times a week sometimes 2 times a night, it was very odd looking back. I had one last Detzember only 4 hours after I had MBed and had 2 orgasms with ejaculation. I woke up and was like, "what the heck?" No wet dream last night. but it is ok. My level of arousal today seems rather low, about a 6 on a 1-10 scale. Nothing else really to note except that it seems like my testicles hang lower now than they did when I was not abstaining. I do not know if they actually are, or if I just never noticed how log they actually hang. Also, they seem just bigger in general. Not much, but just a little. Like I said, this may not be so, but they seem different. Other than this, nothing new.

I, too, am abstaining - and it is indeed a wonderful experience. One really does become more self-aware and conscious!

About the social matters - I, myself, can testify to that.

Whilst I have been abstaining, (I am currently on day 94) I have been very, very sociable because I have been very, very self-confident and self-assured.

For example, when I was at a public event, I found it very easy to speak to many young people like myself and I was the one always taking hold of the conversation and beginning it!

Not MBing or having any sexual release really makes a male more ALPHA and manly and very much confident. This is excellent for public speaking, sports, socialising, intellectual activities and many, many other things.

Before I began to abstain, I was pretty outgoing and sociable - but only with my own circle of friends!

Now, with AB, I can make friends exceptionally easily and easily talk to people outside of my circle of friends.

Also, during AB, my ambition for success in life has increased 1000-fold and continues to do so. I plan for years way down the line and am more confident in planning.

AB is, indeed a godsend for all good things.

Sigh... I have decided that I will not be having a WD for quite a while. No reason in particular, I just do not see it happening any time soon. I believe that the reason behind all the thoughts and easy arousal is the increase in Testosterone in my body due to abstaining. One would not think that the increase would be so great, but the body rises them just enough to cause intense sexual feelings because the body thinks that if semen is not being released then DNA is not being passed on and the body's goal is to make sure that that DNA leaves, whether or not it goes to a reproductive use or not.

Just for interest I found this article in the World Journal of Urology on Testosterone in the abstaining male:

This current study examined the effect of a 3-week period of sexual abstinence on the neuroendocrine response to masturbation-induced orgasm. Hormonal and cardiovascular parameters were examined in ten healthy adult men during sexual arousal [induced by viewing pornographic videos] and masturbation-induced orgasm. Blood was drawn continuously and cardiovascular parameters were constantly monitored. This procedure was conducted for each participant twice, both before and after a 3-week period of sexual abstinence. Plasma was subsequently analyzed for concentrations of adrenaline, noradrenaline, cortisol, prolactin, luteinizing hormone, and testosterone concentrations. Orgasm increased blood pressure, heart rate, plasma catecholamines and prolactin. These effects were observed both before and after sexual abstinence. In contrast, although plasma testosterone was unaltered by orgasm, higher testosterone concentrations were observed following the period of abstinence. These data demonstrate that acute abstinence does not change the neuroendocrine response to orgasm but does produce elevated levels of testosterone [pre-study: ~3.8 ng/ml; post-abstinence: ~4.5 ng/ml] in males."

I find this study to be very interesting since it relates directly to my body and me and is hard scientific proof that my personal mental conjectures about the "why" of everything I have been experiencing is caused by the Testosterone increase.

I know, blah blah blah! Boring boring boring! But really, I get into the whole science of why my body and mind are acting the way they are during a period of abstaining. I hope to learn more about all of this as time goes on.
