I think really quitting PMO requires an attitude change. I think these are some thoughts that can help.

- With 'no fap' sites becoming ever more popular, and more and more guys are succeeding in ABing for a long time, people see a large number of benefits. The right way to look at this large amount of evidence is that MB and PMO have negative effects on psychology and hormones.

- MB is not necessary at all. We are built not to do it. All the effects guys notice when ABing are in fact natural and normal. MB 'short circuits' and prevents those natural and normal physical, mental, hormonal, and emotional changes.

- Many guys on no fap sites who succeed in reaching their 90 day AB goal often keep going. They don't want to start up MB again.

- PMO is not a simple act. It has consequences. The negative aftereffects are an inseparable part of it, and they continue for days.

- Part of MB is regret afterwards. Nobody who is ABing ever thinks "I sure wish I had MB'd last night" or "I wish I had just finished MBing". Instead, after MB they wonder "why did I do that?" with regret. Yet they are happy and excited about going another day on AB, they are happy and excited after a WD, and are happy and excited after having sex if they are in what is for them is an appropriate relationship. MB is thus not really a substitute for AB, WDs, or sex.

- Mature male sexuality is more than just MB. It is what happens when you don't MB. To quote Squeeze:

Start seeing it as a waste of time and energy, and as preventing more natural, normal, and mature feelings and expression as an adult male.

Unfortunately, not every guy gets WDs easily. But the simple fact is that they are a more mature and complete outlet than MB. They not only feel much better than MB ever can, you'll wake up happy, excited, and feeling good about yourself.

Thanks a lot for your awesome comment! These are certainly things that will help me and most of them I already knew.
My attitude has definitely changed right now. PM is no longer an option. I know how good it feels to AB. Especially the t-buzz is a great feeling. MB is worthless.

Good summary! There is nothing wrong with reinforcing those thoughts and attitudes until MB seems quite unappealing and unnatural. After all, the positive feelings of AB, from energy to t-buzz to WDs are natural and normal, and are likely nature's way of encouraging us not to waste it in MB.

It may be quite natural for a person to reach the point where for them the best feelings, expression, excitement, and enjoyment of mature sexuality is with an MB rate of zero. At that point MB is indeed worthless.
