Day 2 started at 5am...no real issues yesterday and slept like the dead. My goal is to stop completely but I will settle with making it to 30 days 1st.

Well just passed one hurdle. Had to buy a new laptop and resisted the urge to pull up a porn site before reinstalling a porn filter. Porn has always been a big stumbling block for me and AB. I am proud of this step. :banana-dance:

I notice many guys on this site have issues with porn and MB. I really believe that porn ruins are love of the other because we look upon women (or men for those of you who are gay) as objects.

I struggle with porn, too. I had to put filters on my net as well. The more deterants in place, the more times you have to hit the brakes and walk away. Or at least, thats the way I see it :P

Well I made it through the night without MB...2 straight days and hopefully many, many more.

I don't hold out hope of a WD anytime soon...you young guys are luckier. But I am not without hope.

Made it another day!!! Slept pretty well last night after a seriously tiring workout. I find exercise really helps with redirecting your testosterone.

The first week is always the first hard step, great job on setting your porn filters sean! I hav NEVER MBed to porn b4 cause its never really turned me on cause it never looks natural, the first few weeks of not MBing gotta b hard but if u can make it past day 14 it should bcome easier you've got my support man!

Well, no WD's yet and probably not for a while, but after 8 days of abstaining, I am doing well. I feel better and am making better decisions for myself. I was tempted last night before falling asleep but refrained from MB or edging (which is the same thing in my book). When I did fall asleep, I slept pretty soundly and remember no dreams which is fairly normal for me.

Two side effects that I have noticed are that I am peeing more frequently and that I do not get a burning feeling after I get horned. (and it is not an infection or STD) I have had the 2nd issue before when abstaining but was wondering what is the cause. Any ideas?

And Makaiguy, maybe burning is the wrong term. It feels like I am ready to expel semen and it is a bit sensitive. I have never had an SE so I don't think that is it.
