Who knows, you might be able to get a WD this way, but based on the experiences of other successful WDers it seems less likely. But what you might try doing is skipping edging in the shower some days, knowing full well that you still have the capability to do it and are not going to waste it ejaculating anyway. You can use your new found control to look forward to edging on set days, such as only on the weekends. You might also try sleeping nude, ready for another edging session in the shower, but NEVER edge in bed.

I think one reason guys can reach the point where they don't always crave MB is that they can feel some of the effects of edging if they AB and don't physically edge at all. Physical edging can even 'ruin' that feeling. Maybe you can reach that point yourself, where physical edging is no longer required.

Day 22 (Friday)

Thanks Texanguy for the suggestions. Before I try what you suggest my goal is to 1) pass my longest ab of 24 days and 2) reach a state of equilibrium with what I'm doing now. After achieving those goals I may try to wean myself from edging.

Yesterday was an a very good day. Again, no urges to release. This morning I had another vigorous workout at the gym. At this point the dominant feelings are T-buzz and energy. Horniness and fullness are there, but not strong enough to make me want to cum.

Although I have never had any interest in porn, I now realize that the fantasy I would create in my head while MB was the same thing as a porn video. By focusing on counting all the strokes, I am able to block that part of my brain from fantasizing. It seems to be working.

Day 25 (Monday)

On day 29 I began to experience mild symptoms of a prostate infection (I've had them before). So I took a dose of Cipro and decided to ejaculate whatever had accumulated. This was an effort to flush out any prostatic and seminal fluid which might be infected. Reluctantly I MB'd and ejaculated a huge load.

Sunday Day 17

Don't think I have ever felt better. I'm adjusting to the "new normal"---> fullness, pressure, horny most of the time, occasional rush of urges to release, but mostly pleasantly energized. If things continue like the last week, life is good.

Feeling good about ab. Love the increased energy. Ab may be my cure for procrastination. Somehow it seems easier knowing that I can't "jerk off" due to lack of privacy.
