Hi everybody. I'm not too sure where to start but here i go... Well, i used to visit these forums when i first started abstinence in attempt to achieve a WD during around mid 09. After 18 days i caved in unfortunately, the time i had with no MB was great and i had orgasms which would last minutes during some nights, however i stupidly gave in purely out of frustration of not achieving a WD. This time however i believe i am capable of achieving a longer run. My plans are... NO MB NO PORNOGRAPHY NO HANDS ON (Edging) A bit of back-story as to why i am attempting this challenge. I just recently turned 18 and also just recently had sex for the first time (felt great!), i had made a deal with myself before, that once i have sex that i would start a period of abstinence again. And thus, the journey begins! I'll try to keep everyone up to date with any significant progress, not looking forward to those 1st week headaches again! Cheers everyone!

Welcome, Nath! Before when you were abstaining, you said you would have orgasms which lasted for minutes sometimes, but no WDs? What do you mean? Good luck on your new quest, and by all means, always remember (for "real" sex)--no glove, no love!  Current Day of Abstaining:1 (upd8 8/22/13)

Well i would still be awake lying in bed and would feel the effect of an orgasm close to the point of ejaculation however i never really achieved an emission apart from a bit of pre-cum leak on past occasions. And of course i used the almighty "glove"  Thanks for the support guys, haven't really had the urge to MB today, only when i have nothing to do and my mind wanders is when things get dangerous.

Day 1 is almost at an end now... Glad to say that i haven't even touched my "fella" apart from going to the toilet and shower today. So far i haven't really had the urge to MB at all, and i am glad to say no edging but more importantly no porn so far (staying away from porn is harder for me, the first time i did abstinence i managed no edging the whole 18 days, however watching porn was another story). Hopefully i make it through the night and keep clear thoughts in my head, Day 2 beckons already, and so soon too!

Good luck man. Porn has never been much of an issue for me. You'll learn or I have at least that MB for me is often a lead off a simple addiction of always liking to touch my penis. But yeah not watching porn and not touching yourself except for the necessary times will make it really easy to stay on track. I'm resigning myself to only touch for pissing and showering, luckily my university starts back today so my mind will be tons preoccupied thus less temptation or time to touch and play and less thoughts focussed on MBing, sex, or anything like that at all.

 bluegarden Yeah i understand what you mean completley about it being an addiction, MB is sort of like something you do without even really being fully into it most of the time i find. Like i said last time i watched porn during some nights yet resisted even touching my penis during that time, yet i think it cluttered my thinking too much to the point where i was trying to force a WD. I too will be starting University in a few months time, i think that your right in a way how i'm / you are going to be preoccupied, yet i also feel like there will be a temptation with so many beautiful girls on the way to and in the uni!
