Thank you, Sleepydreamer. Yeah, I'd get antsy also talking with my mom more than 30 min max. Whereas time flies when I currently talk with Dad and/or brothers. Even my grandmother was funny and spunky to chat with right up till she passed away at age 99 in 2011.

Day 10

Overwhelmingly intensely horny times are finally starting to cycle and abate overall. Perhaps I've now made it "over the hump" after 10 days since last MB. By cycle, I mean horniness is not constant or intolerably persistent. For example, urge to MB was WILD on day 8, then easy on day 9 like a piece of cake. Now day 10 the urge is back a bit but overall not insurmountable. I do think it's easier just to give up MB for longer amount of time, compared to "taking a break" after investing weeks or months into abstaining for wet dreams and all the very wonderful benefits of not MB nor ej. Once one gives in to temptation to MB after days/weeks/months of abstaining, it just seems much harder to re-start in every sense of the word. Not impossible, just harder to resist temptation. It would seem logical that giving in to MB urge after, say, 36 days of abs, then ejac many times to "clear the pipes," would reduce horny feelings. Yet, it seems like that only helps VERY briefly, then the horniness returns with a vengeance, even stronger. Overall it's easier to just keep holding off MB to allow days to accumulate to the amount of time necessary for wet dreams to resume.

Day 11

Horniness is starting to cycle more broadly now, which is helpful. The cycle was "one day horny, next day not too bad, etc." Currently, the "cycle of greatest urge" seems to be shifting to one really horny day, followed by two relatively easy days, etc. For example, day 8 was what guys might call overwhelming urge, then days 9 and 10 were pretty easy . Now at day 11 abstinence the urge level has increased somewhat. Yet I can't complain since the past two days have been essentially free of arousal. If I can keep this pattern repeating, hopefully the non-horny days will soon outnumber the horny ones, as they begin to dwindle as one might expect getting this far into overall abstinence.

Kinda horny , but I think simply posting here helps abstaining continue. Leaked precum off and on today. The mere act of posting lends itself to an accountability, which overall reduces temptation and the corresponding urge to arousal situation. Logs and journals here also highlight the pitfalls of giving in to one's urge.

Day 14 = Two FULL weeks

Horny urges periodically, but main thing is I'm still hanging in there, haven't given in/given up, and I've completed one half of a month!

Still DAY 14 but getting close to DAY 15

Awoke to incredible morning wood today, along with pretty intense horniness. Unusual feeling that level of urge 1st thing upon awakening. Especially on day 14, when the most fervent horny moments are mostly abating by this point of 2 weeks of abstinence. At first it seemed like one of those typical periodic "piss hardons" but the bladder didn't seem overly full. Guess it's just the body's response to abstaining over 2 full weeks. Waking up like that I knew it might be kinda hard abstaining today. Trying to be careful to NOT look at anything sexy or any potential temptations to . Hard to do considering that "sex sells" which is why sexy people are frequently in advertisements. Finally had to turn OFF the TV after seeing a Victoria's Secret commercial. Trying hard to keep my mind off arousal/urges by updating Linux on computers. Nothing sexy about Linux, so this strategy to avoid anything even remotely possibly arousing seems to be working so far.

You're doing great. It sounds like you have some good strategies to help control the horniness. I'm really impressed that you had the courage to turn off the TV. That takes awesome self-control! Working on Linux, while not Sexy, is definitely fun! Keep up the great work!

Horny today but ZERO chance of temptation to since I was overly busy working on client's computer purchase, installation, and setup over in the next city. Actually just got off work not long ago and finally make it home in traffic.

Rather hard today, urge is strong as well as temptation to . But I haven't given in to at all, at not yet anyway. Usually the increasingly intense horniness

1) is temporary. yes, GREAT cure for being horny is simply WAIT and it virtually always will subside
2) means testicles are very FULL so a wet dream is absolutely bursting to spurt forth, possibly tonight

Amazingly I'm now at 20 days since last MB. As long as the really horny days kinda alternate with the mildly horny days I think I can handle this. to . REALLY horny yesterday. But today so far has been moderate urge to Granted, abs does seem easier for me during the week. Harder on the weekend, no doubt.

But it's safe to say that day 21 has not very been hard--in fact kinda easy, "piece of cake" as the saying goes.

Day 28

Actually had a wet dream Sept. 24 I've been meaning to write you guys about with a more detailed post. a rather large quantity. Was just starting to feel some returning arousal Friday night.

However...kinda been in a state of or or both shock after finding out one of my closer friends died exactly 12 hours ago. He'd gone to a hospital for a relatively routine procedure couple weeks ago. All was fine, he went home. Then something went terribly wrong leading to abdominal rupture of some sort, then hemorrhaging--which proved fatal. He was only 33 years young. I knew he was having some post-surgical issues, but still, I pretty much assumed he'd pull through. I know I should be used to this since now this is at least the 10th young or relatively young friend/relative to pass on the last couple years. HOWEVER--I'd spent a LOT of time with this friend, cruising around town, going karaoke, clubs, pub crawls, house parties, etc. He had such a sharply accurate sense of humor. It was genuinely very funny! He could easily "light up" a room (be the life of the party) in a way most of us might rarely be able to do.

So I've been asked to help with funeral/memorial arrangements, notifying others who will want to attend the service, etc. Done this also, more times than I want to recall. To some extent today I found it therapeutic searching for photos I'd taken of him as requested of me. These will be used for display at the memorial, as well right now to notify people who may wish to attend and/or write tributes. OMG we took hundreds of pix. Did you ever try to select just a few to represent someone's LIFE? It's a monumental, even overwhelming task in that sense. Although funeral arrangements are still pending, I'm already fielding inquiries on that, plus on why he died so unexpectedly. I don't have an answer for that, since he moved to another state for a new job JUST LAST MONTH. So I was not there at the hospital to witness what may have gone wrong. But I kept in touch with a mutual friend who there in the hospital room.

STILL seems so SURREAL. I want to remember the fun things like the all-night monopoly game he hosted as his house, with the hope that maybe we'll do that again some time. I don't want to admit that this would now be impossible, since he actually died a little more than 12 hours ago.

Doctors and hospitals sometimes screw up. You or someone else should pursue an investigation of what happened. This isn't just to win a suit or something, the doctors and/or hospital need to be held accountable for their mistakes (if any) to protect others who are still alive.

If they did nothing wrong, it would be good to know what your friend might have done differently, such as not waiting too long before calling an ambulance after things went bad. Or maybe the hospital should have been more specific on what complications your friend needed to watch for.

With more health care amateurs (otherwise known as government bureaucrats) getting involved in health care, the more we need to hold them accountable for providing quality care.

Oh, man, I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. I've gone through the same thing. I hope this wave is now over.
