Ok. Day 1. I had been dwelling in the pits of my wanton lust, and it's long time I get on up out of it and get on with my life! The last time I mb'd was yesterday morning. Today, I started to j/o and look at some porn clips, but I stopped before I spilled my seed, and decided I need to get on the WDF here and draw a line in the sand.

I'm going to work soon at a summer camp and I want to be physically amd spiritually clean and self disciplined and full of T-buzz energy, bec it's going to take all I've got! Part of the weeks I will be sharing a cabin with other guys, so that should make it easy to abstain, but part of the week I won't, so that when the temptations will arise. I will need to keep my eyes on the goal, which isn't a WD, it's being the best man I can be, which, especially in this context, means abstaining from all MB and porn. Well, that's at least part of it, ha. I will be there for abt 2 months, so hopefully I will get at least 1 WD before it's done! That would be awesome.

I'm not sure how often I will be able to check in here while I'm up there, but I will when I can. This will help keep me focused and honest abt it. Day 14 Two weeks in! Woot woot! Still not feeling horny really at all. Fooled around a bit in the shower yesterday, just to kind of see how things were working, but took me a while to kind of get into it and it never got or felt that intense. I wouldn't say I "edged," just fooled arnd a bit, but I shouldn't have done that anyway. Haven't done that at all before that, during these two weeks. Haven't felt horny today, just maybe a little bit more than before. I have to remind myself that I am flatlining right now and it's good bec my body is doing that only bec it needs a break and bec I jave been very busy, both physically and mentally, and I need my energy resources for other and better things than j/o all the time. Day 7 The day after my last post, on a Sunday afternoon, I was lying down and was alone and decided to check myself out down there since my little friend and I haven't had any quality time together in a while, and I ended paying him too much attention and shot my load. I wasn't too horny that day, either, but I pushed the envelope too far, so my bad. Only abt a minute later did one guy come into our common room, so I had to stay in bed a few minutes longer before he left so I could get up and clean myself off, haha. I was disappointed that I messed up, but not too much bec I had gone two weeks w/out MB (and even longer now w/out porn), and fortunately I never went for a second round. The orgasm wasn't too intense or anything, kind of mediocre, which is usually my experience after abstaining. The only cool thing was I actually shot farther than I usually do these days, haha.

But good news is I have been good since then, one week now, but still haven't felt that horny, but a LITTLE more than the last couple of weeks. So, still in sort of a flatlining mode. I know from YourBrainOnPorn website accounts that that's typical, and sometimes lasts for several weeks. The temptation is to check your system's functionality (like I did last week), and not ride it out, and trust your body/mind's ability to self-regulate and heal itslef. If it needs a break, give it a break. Don't force the horniness/T-buzz through masturbation. Then it really is self-abuse. From these guy's accounts, a guy's T-buzz and normal horniness levels will come back just fine once your body have recovered from overmasturbation/stimulation/dopamine release. THAT is what I want, normal, healthy, enjoyable levels. My T-buzz doesn't define me as a man, it is just one enjoyable aspect of being a man. I am just as manly when I am flatlining or in "break" mode than when my nuts are blue,ha.

Day 9 I'm a little hornier today, but not too bad. Still going strong. I really like my current living situation. I'm working at a camp and so I share a staff cabin room with 3 other guys--two bunk beds, basically. I was in another cabin before and it was OK, but not as comfy and my roomies were a bit immature. These guys are cool though and the room is great. Easy to not MB when you sleep w/in 5 feet of three other dudes! I'm busy most of the days, and focused on other things. Our shower in this cabin is amazing; it has a shower head with a fixed head and a hand-held one and the hand held one, well, feels pretty good when aimed at your tingly bits... So that is my only temptation really but I'm not prone to MB in the shower, especially when I know other ppl are using it, too. And there are two other guys who sleep in other parts of the room, so not tons of privacy to screw around in. I just hope this will help me establish a solid pattern of self-control (and WDs) once I get back to my normal living situation later in the summer.

Day 12 doin' pretty good. MB a little bit yesterday, but stopped after a few mins. Didn't quite edge. Emotionally, feeling good. Physically, tired--just been busy with work, haven't slept in in a while to catch up. Horniness level, a little bit more than before, but still surprisingly low considering it's been almost two weeks. Probably just bec I have been so bisy and then I'm tired when I'm not working. Busy socially, too. So, I'm not complaining; it's all good.

Day 15 Well, 15 days is how long I lasted before I mb'd (once) and now it has been 15 days since then. Doing good today, will be really busy today and all week with two camps going on this week. Not that horny today. I noticed yesterday, even though I wasn't that horny (just a little bit), bit I had more confidence in myself and drive towards women than I normally have. Not that I'm normally insecure or anything, but I had a noticeable confidence that I don't normally have. It's hard to explain, but I noticed that if there was a woman around who I was interested in I would be more comfortable an more driven to flirt with her a bt, which is interesting, bec it had nothing to do with being horny. It was jist this inner sense. So, pretty cool. We'll see how this week goes. I was tempted to look at a porn clip the other day (haven't done that for several weeks now), but both times I almost looked it up someone came in the room where I was alone amd that stopped me, so I am thankful for God helping me out like that.

Day 17 OK, guys--it finally hit me--horniness. I wasn't horny earlier today and then I got a boner earlier this evening and bam! I'd hump just about anything right now, given the chance. I'd hump it good, too... For about 30 seconds, haha.

Yeah, part of me feels like I might get a WD soon, bit that's probably wishful thinking as most guys jave to go through an extremely horny phase for a week or two before they get their first WD. But we can always hope. I just feel, besides the horniness, that my tanks are full amd my body is ready to release. If I do, I bet it will be a gusher! Day 18 Well, no WD last night, but it's probably way too early for that yet. I had been flatlining (I had almost 0 horniness) for the past two weeks, so I can't expect to bust a nut the first night my libido returns! Plus, my cot was really uncomfortable last night, so I didn't sleep too well. I did have a sexual "scene" in a dream though, which is a good sign bec I hadn't had any sexual dream that I remember for several months now. Back to Day 1 Well, Yesterday I started fooling around in the shower and ended up finishing up afterwards. I was at that point where I knew that I either needed to stop or just go for it and for whatever reason I said to myself screw it, I'm just going to finish off and I did. The orgasm was just OK, not that strong of a feeling at all, but I released a lot of fluid. TMI, but it was mostly yellow, not white, so I know I just had a lot of build-up. Day 2 Well, I rubbed one out late one night two days after I broke my 19 days abstaining streak. It has been technically two mornings since then. In the past, when I would MB after abstaining even for a few days, I would typically MB three times w/in a 36 hour period. I guess it takes that many time to completely empty out the pipes for me. So doing it twice during a 48 hour period or so isn't too bad. I wasn't horny at all yesterday really and surprisingly didn't have a morning wood this AM, but as the morning has gone on, my nuts are starting to feel full again. Not it a bad or overwhelming way, but I will have to remain vigilant bec the physical drive to MB will be greater than normal, even though in mu mond I don't desire to MB and want to abstain to reach my month-long goal.

I have, however, been able with the help of God and how he has been arranging my circumstances, to abstain fr viewing any porn clips for over a month now. I wrote this on another guy's log here to encourage him to give ip porn, and I want to re-post my reflection on how my abstaining from it (along with seriously cutting back my MB), to encourage any of you who might be reading this:

Day 5. Just checking in. Doing well. Church was great yesterday and had a fun day hanging out with friends.
