So Im sitting here flicking through assignments, and popping online when i need a break, and i found myself wondering what you all do for a living, and what if any qualifications (degrees, diplomas, certificates etc) you have, thought it could be a way to learn more about each other.

So I am currently working in a daycare centre as an early childhood educator
I have a traineeship to get my certificate 3 in Childrens Services

and I also have

Certificate 3 in Conservation and Land Management which i did because its one of my interests but not something i want to pursue as a career

Spent the last 20 years of my working life working for Xerox in the high speed laser printer/copier devision, giving customer support in the printer's software.

Various Xerox and related industry certificates/diplomas.

Teacher (currently looking for a new career). Associate of Science in Conservation and Wildlife Management, Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology. Planning on pursuing a Masters and PhD in Zoology within the next couple of years.

i have a diploma thing from kindergarten that says bachlors of tales and i m between 5th and 6th grades

I am a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician which means I'm a pharmacy technician that is certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Every state regulates pharmacy technicians and what they can and can't do, and most states now require you to be PTCB certified. Also most hospitals require you to be PTCB certified. But basically, all it means is that I passed a standardized test and have compounding, law, and technician knowledge that you wouldn't have off the street if you were hired and have the designation CPhT behind my name. I work for Walgreens and I have been with them since 2009.

My real goal right now is to finish nursing school. I would have graduated a few weeks ago but I have to repeat a semester. When i graduate next year I will be an RN and have my associates degree in nursing. I will say that I've been in college since 2008. I started out at University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in business administration. I changed my mind quickly and decided I wanted to do Pre-Med which then translated to getting my bachelors degree in nursing (BSN). I decided to get my associates first and then bridge over to BSN. Regardless of whether you do ADN or BSN, you are still an RN the only difference is you usually have to have your BSN to become a Unit manager in a hospital or something more specialized like working for an insurance company or like a desk job. So to continue, my plan was to go from ADN to BSN and then apply to medical school with a bachelors degree in nursing. I have thought more and more recently about being a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor, but we'll see where the road takes me

I'm a student doing a master's degree in biochemistry. This is my third and final year. No course work only labwork and thesis.

Im starting my senior year in high school soon and when i graduate in 2013 i hope to pursue a career in automotive design. not the part you see but the mechanical parts under the part you see, haha. Currently im working a summer job as a laborer on a construction site. i pick up garbage, wood, move things, carry supplies, get people lunch or pretty much anything that they want me to do, basically im everyones bitch. also worked awhile part time at a machine shop disassembling and cleaning auto engines. I was basically the bitch there too haha but it was fun.

I'm a college student, studying geology. I've completed two years (four semesters) of classes, but I'm currently taking a semester off so that I can look at other schools (I'm not particularly satisfied with my current university).

Jobs: not all that much. I've worked as a summer camp instructor for the past two summers, with some internships and volunteer stuff back during high school.

I'm a graduate of BS Medical Technology (also known as Clinical Laboratory Science) - a four year university degree.
Now I'm currently finishing Med School. I'm in my 3rd year. Plans on specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN)
