Does anyone else actually Shave not trim their puebes?, i tried today and got pretty close to getting everything but i need a better technique to get all the hair gone which is what i want for some reason. I used a razor it got a little painful i just want to ear some feedback.

I do this on a regular basis, every 3 days with a razor so I am completely smooth. Feels better for me though, could never get used to the feeling of hair poking me.

I have shaved down there in my teens but the not anymore.I think it looks a little weird in your 20's to have no hair there.Not keen on looking like i have not hit puberty down there haha.A trimmed and well kept area looks better.

chicks love it when your atleast well trimmed. I usually shave my balls and around bout twice a month...and its time to do it again loll. I do it in the shower, first i trim with scisors then i use shaving cream to soften the pubes, then razor to just shave it i shave using the down motion...if thats what i can call it lol. It gets annoying when it starts growing back as little hairs...but after sometime it goes away. plus shaving your pubs makes your penis look bigger lol

I do it every one in a while, and every time I say "Never again." I'm not too keen on razors, I don't even use one on my face, just a cheap rotary that I got. I get nasty razor burn whenever I shave anywhere, so I just don't consider it an option. I'm too cheap to buy a decent electric razors, and most of the time they tend to bite my scrotum. Weird thing is I can shave my balls no problem. But most of the time I end up walking like a cowboy after I shave my nether regions.

I always stay nice and trimmed. I hate shaving with regular razors, even on my face...so it's electric all the way. I always trim my armpit hair too...haha. Gotta keep that shit in check!

I only shave my face and head. Once a month or so I get my head shaved on a 5 all over and then I shave my face every few days with an electric shaver. I have a morbid fear of razors for some reason. Never used one and go crazy if anyone comes near me with one!

Yay, at least I'm not the only one Can't even pin it down to anything that would make me so scared of them. I don't know I just am for some reason.

I find embarrassingly that I don't actually get much if any hair on my balls anyway. I kind of just thought it was the normal not to have much on them and it wasn't till I became a member of this site that I found out some people have hair on their balls as thick as around the base of their penis.

I shaved mine about 2 month ago, and keep telling myself never to shave it again so i think this was the last time. I used an electric shaver. It just looks weird with no hair there.

Yeah, I think trimmed is best. I actually shaved most of my nuts a few days back, and so far they haven't gotten too prickly. It does feel nice, but they can also feel kinda clamy like that when it's hot and muggy out. The kind there just kind of sticks to itself. But, yeah, my nuts are fuzzy (though not as thick as my pubes--I don't think any guy is THAT dense down there, your nut hairs are more sparse--they grow from those hair follicle bumps on your scrotum), but for some reason I generally like them that way! It feels so good to just lightly brush your hand against the hairs down there. I hope my future wife doesn't mind them fuzzy like that sometimes, haha. But yeah, totally bald looks funny to me too, and the one time I shaved my actual pubes, man, the ingrown hairs were the worst ever. Totally painful growing back, bumps, etc., like vsk said. And yeah, it makes you look like a kid or something. Kinda weird. I don't like my pubes to get TOO bushy anymore, but I like a patch on top that is full enough to look like a man, haha. It is actually shorter up there right now than normal, but it's summer, so... My hairs there are currently abt 1/2" long. Normally I keep them at abt 1" or just over that.

I tried this once or twice. I remember the first day was cool, but man it sucked for a while after. Now I just periodically trim to keep things nice. Not to mention, looked better trimmed than completely shaved IMO.

For some reason, I think only the ladies look good completely shaven.

No, what I meant to say was I shaved most (but not all) of my scrotum. I didn't shave the back side, I was just testing it out, haha.

I have shaved in the shower about every 3-4 days for 3-4 years. Makes everything feel bigger (!), more sensitive, and great for testicle massage. No plan to returning to pubes.

Ive shaved before and it felt fine at first then it burned like hell....i recommend just trimming it looks better and cleaner and doesnt make you look like a 10 year old down there.....lol

Before I grew hair over my balls I shaved my navel when I was a kid. Today, knowing better about razors and shaving, I shaved all the way, removing all the hairs in penis and balls. It feels better. Hairs itch, sweat and in hot days make your private area like hell. My advice is, get in the shower first, run hot water and clean your parts. Trim the longest pubes with a scissor and wash. After that put soap in the area you want to shave and with a razor go in the direction the hair grows, not against it, or you'll end up with ingrown hairs.

I actually like the way it looks. It seems bigger and I don't have any complaints being over 20 and not having hair in my netherlands, after all I have a lot of chest hair to prove I hit puberty really hard. And the thing I like the most is how it looks like when I was little, uncorrupted by pubes.

I keep it trimmed, all of it. Use a good razor with lots of foam and take it slow, don't try to do it all at the same time. We have a lot of geography down there that the ladies dont.

Speaking of ladies, if you expect your gf to go down on you, bare balls are much appreciated !

I shaved my balls a couple times in the past but only really started doing it properly a month or so ago. I shave my balls as i don't get much hair on them anyway and it looks better. As for the pubes above my junk i shaved them a couple times but didn't like the look and the razor made the hairs uncomfortable for a while after so now i trim them. When i can i use a trimmer but i only like to use them when no one is home so no one hears or walks in on me. If it comes down to it i will use scissors but i don't trust myself as much and i normally make it patchy lol.

my blokes not comfortable using a razor but on the odd occasion that he gives himself a special haircut for me he just takes the attachment off of his electric clippers and uses that

ok i think hair down there is gross ive seen pictures of both men and women and hair there makes me want to gag. As soon as i start to get pubes im gonna shave them. I know a girl at my school who says the same thing.
I also need to say that i think that if we should have hair there we should have been born with it.

Some people dont have a choice. i have a lot of hair everywhere so if i did shave i would have a weird looking bald spot which i think would look stupid, but my gf is the only one that matters cuz shes the only one that will see me.

I'm not a hairy person to begin with. I don't even have a full beard yet and I'm 26 yo! I trim all of my pubes because having them makes my groin sweaty and prone to jock itch (the bane of men). I dont care about the aesthestetics and the fact that it makes your dick look bigger. I trim because it's comfortable.
Plus when i let it grow out for 3 months last year the hair was so hard that it constantly pricked me so i chose to keep it clsely trimmed.

The alternative to shaving is to use a depilatory cream. You can pay a huge amount for some that are supposedly formulated for the privates or you can risk using a regular one.

It is a messy business and it is a good idea to remove the bulk of the hair with a clipper or scissors before you start on the cream. This needs to be applied thick - very thick. Then you sit on a towel or something while it does its work, which is to dissolve the proteins of your hair. Should take ten or fifteen minutes. Rinsing and wiping the area with a soft cloth should be enough to remove the cruddy remains - though some creams suggest a plastic spatula for application and removal. This tends to be a bit rough on the scrote and if you nick that it can bleed quite a bit. Did I mention the sulphuric stink? It's not a process that would be easy to conceal from the rest of the household, assuming anyone has a private life any more!

Why bother? Well it dissolves the hair down into the follicle so it may be a week or so before you get any regrowth; the smoothness certainly restores a lot of sensation to the region. One of the side-effects of the process is the way it makes the region go quite cold and that can cause the sack to become tightly clenched for a while. A moisturizer or after-shave balm will soon restore elasticity.

For hairy persons, the question will be where to stop as the bald area will always look unnatural. It will also itch as the stubble reaches a certain length. One answer to that is to avoid major sessions by using the cream lightly once a week.

I have tended to do it only occasionally as it seems a lot of bother but the result can be quite interesting.

ive given up just let the jungle grow , save the trees!

most annoying thing, is having to scissor it away first, then shaving it later on. cleaning up is also a bit annoying esp if its a shared bathroom, dont want awkward questions about short hair

i dont mind trimming, but havent gotten around to getting a proper trimmer.
