Well, it's a bit difficult for me, as I'm physically handicapped, live with my mom and can't really go anywhere without someone to help me (getting in and out of the car, ect., though I am doing therapy right now to work on that). That being said, I am a bit conflicted, body image issues make me wonder if anyone could really be attracted to me, trust issues with men cause my dad had problems, plus now being almost 30 and never having dated, I'm afraid of not knowing what to do and seeming stupid, which is fine if you're a teenager and the person your with hasn't dated much, either, but at this age I think ppl expect you to know what you're doing.

Dating is overrated. In fact, I don't know of anyone "dating" as they do in movies and TV series. All the people I know got in a relationship through everyday sharing of ordinary life, then they decided to get intimate.

The concept of "dating to discover your partner" is bullshit.

I'm married to a woman but my attraction sexually is to men. My marriage is now sexless by mutual agreement with my wife. It was getting too difficult for me to get an erection and too difficult for her to get wet. Sex was a chore, and so we gave that chore up - focusing on kissing, cuddling massages etc. so we retain lots of intimacy even though we have kicked sex out of our bedroom.
