I'm not sure that this is a religious topic, though of course lots of babies are circumcised for religious reasons.
I was left intact as a baby (I was born into a Protestant family, so there was no religious reason for circumcision, and my parents decided to leave me alone). I think one of the main reasons to leave a baby intact is because it just seems cruel to strap down this defenseless thing and chop off a perfectly normal part of his body (and without anesthesia). If when he's old enough to want it done then that's his decision. There's also the whole sensitivity issue, and there seems to be agreement that the uncut penis is more sensitive than the circumcised. And there's the hygiene argument in favor of circumcision; that may have been true a hundred years ago but isn't today. Most guys shower every day and those of us who are uncut retract the foreskin and wash under it. Once in a great while I notice a little smegma (especially in hot weather), but it's easily washed away. Some people act like smegma is disgusting and filthy, but it's just another body product like ear wax or saliva.
I also like knowing that my body and my male "parts" are as nature intended. I'm obviously biased, but I'm very much anti-circumcision.
