The Shorter Prayer of Chastity
Most Holy Jesus to thee I cry,
You who are all perfection and all love,
Make me chaste and help me a sinner in this my hour of need.
The Longer Prayer of Chastity
Most Holy Jesus to thee do I cry,
You who are all perfection and love,
You have died upon the cross for me,
You bled in the Garden,
You were scourged at the pillar,
You carried the cross and by it were crucified.
You are the innocent lamb of God and for my sins and mine alone you died.
Through the Holy Spirit I pray
Now as in that hour when the blood and water poured forth from your side,
Wash me in your Grace and cleanse me of my impurities.
Make me Chaste O'Lord And help me a sinner in my hour of need.
